Love the combo of beautiful grounds, cute llamas, and delicious wine! There's plenty of outdoor seating on the patio and close to the vines, and the vibe is very relaxed. Inside, there's a shop where you can see their awards (for both the llamas and wines) and buy merch as well as purchase wool from their llamas - pretty cool! On our first visit, we ordered flights, which included a branded glass we could take home. On our most recent visit, we ordered a bottle of Mandarb, a nice red blend, to share, and we were each given a limoncello cake pop as well to celebrate the release of this new wine! You can BYOF, and there was a food truck you could order from as well. We later got a bottle of the Merlina, which was a surprisingly fruit-forward red blend made with blackberry concentrate. Divine! If you want to check out the llamas (which you definitely should), it's a short walk from the main area (and you'll also need to transfer your wine from a glass to a plastic cup). Very family-friendly, and overall a great spot for some relaxation just outside of Winston-Salem!
Lovely visit to Divine Llama. Discovered a new-to-us red blend, the Mandarb, tasted great with tacos from the visiting taco truck. Walked over to see the llamas.
AMAZING, I have visited this winery a handful of times and will say it never gets old! The winery is located in winston salem off the highway and you can actually take a peak of pilot mountain as youre walking to see the llama stables on the far right by the vineyards. The ladies at the winery desk are always so sweet and patient. I an happy to support this family business and love coming definitely recommend. The ambiance is always amazing and the llamas are always out and wanting to be looked at and admired. Many of their llamas have won different awards which is very nice to see. The food trucks that come in weekends are always delicious and yummy.
Popped in to Divine Llama for the Mexican food truck and some wine. We had the Mandarb red wine, and it was fine. The staff is very friendly. We walked down the path and checked out one of the llamas. Fun winery to visit!
On a snowy Sunday a couple of weeks ago, my closest friends and I ventured out to Divine Llama for some belated birthday shenanigans. We weren't sure how the snow would affect our ability to see the llamas, but to our delight, they were out and about living their best lives! Before we made the trek to visit the llamas, we enjoyed some wine and snacks in their enclosed, heated patio area. We were big fans of the option to bring in outside food because who doesn't love some fancy cheese with their wine?? As we perused the varietals of wine, it didn't take us long to settle on ordering some flights. It's the best way to try a few types of wine without having to commit to a whole glass of something. An added bonus is that you get a complimentary wine glass (either stemmed or stemless) with your flight purchase. Not that I need anymore glassware in my life, but it was still nice to have a keepsake to remember our visit. I decided to do four 2oz pours. My flight included Mustang Sally, Chambourcin, In a Heartbeat, and Red Rita Rosé. Of the five, my favorite was the Red Rita Rosé. So much so that I ordered a glass before we walked to see the llamas. It was so fun to see the llamas in the snow. We really enjoyed visiting with the llamas and taking way too many pictures. There were even baby llamas wearing little sweater vests which were so cute I could not even! We are definitely planning to return when there's warmer weather for more wine and another llama photo shoot.
Divine llama was a very cute small boutique vineyard. Walking over to view the llamas was fun and the wine flights were reasonably priced. Only thing that I will say, is the gal at the tasting counter seemed very annoyed and was not pleasant.
It's been a long time since I last visited the winery. I love the vibe which is casual and family friendly. I enjoy their wines and this time got a flight of four different varieties. The rosé was my favorite. There was some confusion about the food truck so we brought a picnic. They have plenty of places to eat, which is nice. You do have to pay a fee for anybody not drinking wine. You take a short walk to see the llamas. We got up close to a few, but I think they would be out more if it wasn't so hot.We had a nice time and plan to come back in the future.
Love the atmosphere here! The staff were great (friendly and knowledgeable). The seating area was just perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We even got a free wine glass! I noticed they allow outside snacks which is great. The little charcuterie box was quite pricey so you might want to make your own. The wine was the best I had all day of visiting wineries. This was such a wholesome experience! Highly recommend. We visited the Divine Llama Vineyard for the first time ever this week (a Thursday at 12:30pm, they opened at 12) We started off with a wine flight for around $15 (with a souvenir wine glass included) The lady at the bar was super helpful in telling us the origin of each wine and showed us a picture of each llama the wines were named after. Another member of our group purchased a bottle of the Versailles wine for $28. A great sweet wine. Prior to the purchase, she was kind enough to give us all a sample of any wine we wanted to make sure we would like whichever bottle was purchased. They do accept cash or card payment. Outdoor food is allowed. There are plenty of seating options available. Now to the best part... there are two different trails you can take to view the llama farms. You can take your wine and take a stroll to visit the llamas at your own pace. There were so many of them, I look forward to going back.
I really enjoyed my experience here. A friend's birthday gave us the perfect excuse for a self guided NC wine tour, and of course this was our first stop. We were thrilled to find that it was open despite the recent snow and that the llamas were out and about (they told us they are fond of the colder weather). We all got flights and tried a different variety- my favorites were the Chambourcin and Red Rita Rose. NC wines have a reputation for being overly sweet, but I am happy to report that they had plenty of dry options to choose from. The do have a nice outdoor patio that was a little chilly but not too bad, it is enclosed and had a heater running. One of the best things about this winery (other than the llamas of course) is the fact that you can bring in outside food so we brought a whole picnic and spent a few hours enjoying ourselves. The llamas were majestic and sweet and seemed to like our attention. I would love to go back sometime!
Unfortunately the weather was rainy, but that didn't take away from our experience. First and foremost, the wine was delicious. And there was such a broad selection of wines to try that everyone will be able to find something that is very much to their taste. Secondly, the staff were so friendly. We spent about 5 minutes just chatting about the wines they offered and of course the llamas. Of course the highlight of the trip was seeing the llamas in the barn. They were so cute and really are a special part of the vineyard. And an extra special surprise were the farm dogs guiding us back to the winery space - so friendly and so fluffy! Would recommend to anyone in the area looking to connect with some adorable furry babies!
This was a great place to stop in on a Sunday afternoon and chill with friends. We packed some food and sat at one of their many outdoor tables and had a tasting then bought a bottle of wine to share. They have a fairly good selection of white, dry and sweet wines at moderate prices, under $30, tastings are $12 for four generous tastings. They also had a lot of swag and other items to purchase there. After you are done, take a five-minute walk on the gravel road to see the llamas and other animals there. They had a group (pack, flock...) of miniature horses as well. The Llamas are definitely a sight to see though. A great experience and we are looking forward to another visit.
Such a cozy beautiful winery, delicious dry reds as well which is what we always choose. Good prices as well. You can get a flight of 4 wines to try. Their Rose is one of best I've tried. The "Mandarb" was our absolute favorite. Their outside patio area was so nice and we really enjoyed our time with some good friends. You can pack a picnic and bring it with you! We had such a lovely afternoon at Divine Llama vineyard. It wasn't a bad drive from Greensboro's and we loved that no reservations were needed. I'm not a huge wine fan so I got the sweet wine flight. I found two that I really liked! The red with blueberries and raspberries, and the white with peach! I even got a glass of the peach one. After enjoying our wine we went on a little walk to see the llamas. There were also mini horses and a donkey. Lots of chickens too. There was a food truck but I ended up getting some snacks from in the bar area instead. Next time I'll bring a charcuterie board because that would have been so perfect! read more
The views are gorgeous, wine is delicious, and service was great!! It was my first time here, so I didn't realize that people bring their own snacks and charcuterie boards, next time I will be prepared. They have a food truck, so you can still order something. They also give you a glass to keep when wine tasting! In addition to a great view, you can walk the farm and pet the llamas. Such an amazing experience, I'll definitely be back!! read more
I enjoyed this spot! They have a pretty small taproom and patio area, some parking if that's your jam, and llamas up the hill!! They are definitely dog friendly on the patio. I would not think dogs could be anywhere near the llamas (a short walk around the bend). There were flights available or regular pours. You can take a glass with you to visit llamas, not a flight. The vineyard was beautiful and we saw baby llamas!!! The servers were friendly. I don't think there was food... but maybe a food truck? Not sure. I had a good time though! read more

This place was on our radar for a while but then pandemic...Well, we finally got to try them out for the first time this weekend, and it was a lovely time. The grounds are well kept, and the kids had a great time checking out the llamas while Lace and I had a great time checking out the wines. The prices are fair, the service was friendly and helpful, and the wines we tried were excellent! I especially liked the peach and the red with blackberry mixed in. I don't love the cover charge to get into the place, but it is understandable for the kids to have a good time as well. Worth the trip! read more
Divine Llamas Vineyard: Llamas and wine can it get better? Wines: Wines are amazing, they have nice collection of wines and are named after llamas on farm. I tried in a heartbeat and loved it. Prices are great. Parking: They have a parking lot, so parking is never an issue Ambience: Place is clean and well maintained. Nice wall art, and farm is amazing. You can only trek with llamas at certain time in a year. Book in advance. It's a must visit place; they are largest llama farm in south east. read more

My first Vineyard I've ever been too. Also the one I visit the most!! Absolutely a great time. We had such a fun day celebrating @ladyknyce birthday @divinellamavineyards. Great company, good food, great wine, and llama shenanigans. Thank you @maxnlucky @denyslourie @theeblackmermaids @maria_r0si and her daughter and @ela_ina69 for making this a fun day! This has always been one of my favorite places to visit yearly. You can bring your own food and choose a great wine from their tasty selection. They also have food trucks on the weekend. After hanging out in the vineyard and having wine, take a walk down the trail to see the llamas. There are a few younger llamas on the farm. read more
Divine Llama Vineyards is a really cool vineyard to visit. They have good wines, a relaxed tasting area and a farm with lots of llamas, miniature horses, and donkeys. They often have a food truck as well. We have been to Divine Llama many times, and we have enjoyed it every time. Overall, I rate Divine Llama venue an 8/10. The wines are good. They have a wide variety of reds and whites. I rate the wines a 7/10. The venue is relaxed and casual. When it is cold, they have space heaters and enclose part of the area with plastic curtains. They also have plenty of outdoor seating with couches , picnic tables and tables and chairs. I rate the venue a 7/10. While everything else is good, the farm is the highlight of the experience. When you walk down the farm road, there are llamas in the fields in both sides. Towards the end of the road (about 1/3 mile) the llamas come closer to the fence. Sometimes they will eat grass out of your hands. We have also seen a lot of baby llamas. They are really cute. Sometimes, they leave the gates to the fields open so you can walk around the back of the property. This way, you get to see more llamas, miniature ponies, and donkeys. You can also walk through the vineyard through the vines. There is a nice view of Pilot Mountain on this side as well. They also have a llama tracking experience, but we haven't taken advantage of that yet. I rate the farms experience a 10/10. I highly recommend Divine Llamas Vineyard. When you visit, plan to stay a couple of hours and enjoy the farm. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Definitely ignore the negative reviews, they should probably not have been there anyway! Every single staff member was welcoming and friendly, including the owner. The main house hosted wine tastings and had the sweetest gift shop with local goods and snacks. You could order inside or outside which was nice. They had a bit of seating inside and massive decks outside with covered or not covered seating, and even tables down on the grass next to the vines! The overall feel was nice and cozy, the staff explained everything and the wines were a nice treat at fair prices. The llamas were a bonus and it was a nice treat to be able to walk the farm and see them up close! I can't wait to go back!! read more

Visited this vineyard 4/25/25, and had a marvelous time. The owners were so hospitable and even joined us for a few glasses of wine. We had a tour of the llamas and the property--quite an operation! But the wines were really good--the Chardonnay is quite good! I, along with my friends, can highly recommend this winery. July will be a "limoncello" release! We can't wait to go back! read more

Wonderful service and worth the drive to a beautiful vineyard and llama farm! The people were so friendly and informative and the wine was pretty good too. We were lucky enough to visit with the baby llamas (one apparently liked to suck on my flannel shirt tail) and I'm pretty sure he would have let me pet him all afternoon. It was amazing to see how beautiful and docile these animals are. Maybe they enjoy the wine too. add this to your bucket list for north carolina vineyards for sure! read more
It's an amazing place with beautiful llamas and great owners. Kathy was awesome and took good care of us. The views are good, the place is great but the wines are amazing. We tried merlina and mandarb and loved both. You can bring your own food here, and the vibe is pretty relaxing. The kids had a great time visiting the farm and the llamas. We will definitely return for more wine and a day out with the llamas! read more

Llama's llamas llamas oh my a great way to relieve some stress from Covid-19. What I love so much about this vineyard is the beautiful scenery a breath of fresh air. All of the wines are named after the llamas. They do have a variety of wines from dry to sweetness. My favorite is a sweet a wine so that was perfect. Usually most winery don't offer a really sweet wine to my tasting. If though I was scared of the llamas they still gave me a peace of mind. Next time I definitely will be booking the trekk with the llamas. read more
Didn't really get a chance to try many wines here, but their petit Verdot was really good. The property itself is really beautiful and of course petting and feeding the llamas is the main attraction of this vineyard. I would suggest getting here early before the crowd, that way you have a chance to snag a place to sit and the ability to do the wine tasting. Overall though, the staff I interacted with were extremely friendly and they were working their butts off to serve customers as fast as they could. I will definitely come back and try the wines they offer. read more

Took my family to Divine Llama when they came to visit, only a 20ish minute drive from downtown Winston Salem. Their Llama trek experience was all booked up, but we still went to try some wine and see the Llama's. It was so much fun! The tasting was only $15 and we got to try pretty large samples of four wines. We LOVED the Marlena and ended up getting a glass as we walked around. There were tons of Llama's still on the farm and we even got to pet a couple who came up to the fence. The farm dogs also greeted us and they have some ponies and a small donkey we got to meet and pet too. Totally worth it even if you can't do the llama trek and the wine was very good! read more

Interactive, busy, exciting winery. Wines tasted: Mandarb: smooth, creamy Red Rita Rose: somewhat sweet with hints of honey, I did not like it, but another in my party did Mustang Sally: clear and refreshing! I recommend tasting this wine. I wanted to take home a bottle, but the line was too long. Valvin Muscat: spicy and sweet Pros: -all the friendly animals. Loved petting the donkey and ponies right next to where we parked -farm is beautiful. Plus there is a great view of Pilot mountain from the vineyards -ample parking -good variety of wines -family friendly -several tents and tables are set up to purchase wine from -on the Saturday we visited, they had several food trucks -multiple seating areas at tables or in the grass by the vineyards -dogs allowed just not near the animals -prices are reasonable Cons: -very busy. The employee pouring our wine flight seemed very stressed -even with multiple tables to purchase wine from, the wait was long. We spent more time standing in line than we did drinking the wine. -lines were so long we did not purchase any bottles to take home -far walk to see the llamas (however, this means the animals have a lot of space to move around, which is preferred) -not relaxing like other wineries We did enjoy the wines we tried and the farm, however, would prefer to visit on a weekday when it's less crowded. read more

How do you visit the Llamas when the temp outside is over 90? Is there shade available?
Hi Audrey, the llamas are always there for viewing during tasting room hours but they may not be quite as active with temperatures in the 90s. We see people walking to see them in heat, freezing temperatures, rain, etc., so it really just depends on…

Judy, thanks for your question. We do allow dogs on leashes at the tasting room area, but we are unable to allow dogs on the farm near the llamas.
