However, the dishes we ordered as entrees were lackluster. I got the steak and gnocchi dish. It was advertised as being served with steak sauce, but instead, the sauce was much more like a jammy barbecue -- very off-putting. The steak was served well done, and the gnocchi was doughy. I am a huge fan of both steak and gnocchi, and it doesn't take much to impress me with either, but this was pretty bad. A friend got the chicken cassoulet, which was fine, but a bit bland. Another member of our party got the pork belly and said it was delicious! The service was good, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, especially as it got closer to time for the live music to start. The place filled up with a crowd of regulars, and it was a fun group. This was our first time in Burlington, and Tanner's definitely made it memorable. We will be back!

What a LOVELY experience!…read more We were visiting from NYC, and as a wine lover, I'm always on the lookout for wineries to explore. On our drive along US-29, we spotted a sign and decided to make an impromptu stop. Having only visited wineries in the Northeast, we were initially taken aback by the simple facade. At first glance, it wasn't as elaborate as others we've seen--no endless rows of grapevines or a sleek indoor café. Just a humble barn and about five to seven rows of grapes. But the moment we stepped into the bar area, a whole new world opened up. The charm of this place truly lies in the details. There are multiple outdoor spaces perfect for photo ops or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Some areas have been updated as recently as last year, and the entire property is clearly well-maintained. Now, about the service--it was wonderful. We were warmly greeted by the bartender, who asked if we had a reservation for a tasting (we didn't). Since it was Wine Down Wednesday--with glasses of wine for just $4--we planned to simply enjoy a couple of glasses. But what we got far surpassed the weekly special. We ended up doing wine flights and sampled a variety of flavors and textures, all while engaging in great conversation. The experience felt both personal and relaxed, which made it even more memorable. Before leaving, we purchased a few bottles of our favorites and promised ourselves we'd be back.

I had the tasting flight of: Block B, strawberry, jug house blush, and the slushie. All were varied and delicious, especially the blush. The outdoor seating was spacious and beautiful, although I can imagine it being extraordinarily hot later in the summer. Not too much indoor seating otherwise. Very relaxed ambiance and perfect for a nice afternoon or evening with friends.

There's limited seating in the interior, but there's a large patio with extra seating. We attempted to sit on the patio, but the mosquitos had plans that we did NOT sign up for! So we went back inside to sit at the bar. I wish there was different barstools. Those were just too shallow and not very comfortable or supportive. Thank goodness they weren't too busy when we were there because there was only one seserver. He was super nice and attentive as he could be seeing as how he was running in and out to serve the interior and exterior guests and also making the drinks! Some drinks are specialty so they take time to actually make. I hope they covert their pass-through window into a door into improve efficiency. I ordered the mojit flight and my two friends orordered the Tequila, and Marguerita flights. General consensus was that the drinks were good , but a bit too sweet. I wish mine was served with mint leaves like the menu pictures, but I didn't ask for them or why they weren't included. Overall, I'd go back with my girlies and try something different.

Maybe bc it was a Thursday, and it's more busy other days? There were fruit flies around our table that were kind of annoying as well. Flights were okay. Charcuterie board was alright as well. Not sure I'll be back.
