Visited from out of town. Perfect for a cute date night or a girls' night out! The vibe inside is chic and welcoming, making it the ideal spot to unwind with some great drinks.
I have been wanting to try The Quarter for a while now and was so glad we did over the weekend! It has a beautiful, classy and unique atmosphere that's great for a girls night out or fun date night. Our drinks were delicious and I really liked all the specialty menu options! We came around 5pm on a Saturday and there was already a growing crowd. The staff was very friendly and prompt, making us feel welcome and seen even though there was only one bartender at the time. The bartender that was there did an amazing job serving the crowd, however there only being one did slow things down a bit causing a bit of a wait between rounds. We would love to go back to see the performers and how the space looks at night/ see the upstairs area! The music playing was spot on and I really liked the decor!
Bravo! The Quarter is AMAZING on Sunday evenings! I wanted to catch their live New Orleans style jazz after 6pm and oh boy was it a treat. Their usual act was away this Sunday but they had another group of musicians that played very well. The Quarter is a little bit of everything throughout the week. Club. Cocktail Bar and more. On Sundays and Mondays they have live jazz--which is so neat! Shoutout to Kevin, he's a good bartender. I recommend their pimento cheese plate and crackers and any of their cocktails. They have a few beer options including some on draft. The vibes inside on a Sunday evening and late summer night is too good. Nice and cool, relaxing and enjoyable. Loved the music! I'll certainly be back for more.
Some friends of mine and I decided to check this place out in downtown Greensboro in one of those adventurous nights of ambitious bar hopping(lol). The ambiance was very inviting, set up the mood for a night of dancing. Bartenders were great and attentive. Place gets busy very fast and people were very social. There were a couple of dancers and DJ. I don't think they serve but i could be wrong.
Walking in to The Quarter downtown whisks you straight to the French quarter in New Orleans! The ambiance is dim and romantic with low lights and a nature-inspired atmosphere. There even seems to be a large tree growing through the middle of the venue! Ferns hang up all around the perimeter of the iron balconies and often time aerial dancers are swinging through hoops. It is a really cool experience! The service is fast & friendly even on a busy night. They do not serve food at this establishment. Sometimes they have a DJ too!
I really love visiting the quarter for the vibes. When you walk in there's a huge, beautiful tree growing out of the bar area and the upstairs looks like you're walking the streets of Nola. It's just an entire experience. Their cocktails are also great - they have both classics and a specialty menu. On the weekends they have aerial dancers which is different than any bar I've ever been to. The bar tenders have always been pleasant and the space is massive. If I'm taking friends for drinks in GSO the quarter is always a must!
Had a great time. The place is clean. Music was fire. Waitresses were attentive. Drinks were great. Always a great vibe when I attend. The bouncers are always so cool.
Excellent bar for live music some nights but always good drinks. They have a wide range of bourbons as well and i was really impressed with the staff.
Drinks are good but too many times I've come to sit at the bar long enough to walk out after not being acknowledged.
The quarter is the most unique bar in the Carolina's I seen in a while ! It's only 1 hour & a half from Charlotte, you'll find "The Quarter" located in Greensboro, NC ! It's a stunning, Instagram-worthy cocktail bar inspired by New Orleans French quarters , it's a unique 2 story layout featuring craft cocktails . The ground floor is a spacious bar surrounded by life sized trees & lush moss . While the upstairs balcony offers seating with a view on the main floor! Only thing they are missing here is food ! I think they should offer beignets or something reminiscent to New Orleans not just cocktails . At night on the weekend they have acrobatic dancers etc that perform on the bar top which i hear is pretty dope ! Add The Quarter to the top of your North Carolina bucket list it's a must see

Craft cocktail bar with speakeasy vibes. This place is super cool and is an absolutely fantastic spot to get drinks with friends. My first time ever at The Quarter was as a bachelorette party participant. We were able to secure a large booth that was big enough for our party of eight. There were lots of tasty drinks on the menu and I could have blindly put my finger on any of them and been happy. I went with the Voodoo Queen and was a happy lil' camper. The gummy bear in my drink made me so happy! This place was also willing to go off menu, even with obscure drinks. Very impressed with the level of customer service. The space was large, open, and an oasis from the busy downtown city streets. The drawback is that drinks here are expensive. However, the price for the quality of ingredients and for the expert composition of unique drinks is an absolute bargain. Still, this definitely would be more of a special occasion spot for me. Overall, this place should make any craft cocktail drinker very happy. Be sure to include it in your next downtown night!
Finally got around to checking this bar out. Cool french quarter concept. We thought the ring dancers were awesome and pretty unique for this area. The Spanish moss and cypress trees in the center of the bar are a cool touch to make it feel Vieux Carré. The second floor balcony overlooking everything is nice and there is plenty of seating up there. Drinks were pricey but good and service was prompt.

The Quarter has a great ambiance and atmosphere! The bar has a New Orleans-themed vibe and features both an upstairs and downstairs area with plenty of different sections to hang out in. At night, it turns into a nice club with a lively atmosphere. I don't believe they currently have food, though. I think adding a kitchen or food options could be a great way to enhance the experience and give customers another reason to stay longer. The only issue I noticed during my visit was that the section where I was sitting had a noticeable smell of vomit. It didn't completely take away from my experience, but the smell was definitely present. If someone had gotten sick there previously, the booth should have been thoroughly cleaned and wiped down before being used by another customer. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the New Orleans theme. With a little more attention to cleanliness and potentially adding food options, I think this place could be even better. read more

My bartender Taylor (I think) was cool. I dropped in on a weekday and the place was a little empty. However, the vibe was great. A few stragglers started to file in during my visit. The staff is personable and nice. I enjoyed my random drop in! A cool place to drop in alone or meet friends. You may even catch some cool pics, the ambiance is the best! read more

The inside is beautiful, the music volume was too loud, but more importantly, I might have had a one of the worst espresso martinis of my life here. I ordered two, the bartender used only premixed ingredients (rather than fresh espresso), poured the mixture into the martini glasses, but when it wouldn't fill the rims all the way, he poured it back into the shaker, added more ice to dilute it, then poured this even worse mix into my glasses, which still couldn't reach the rims. To add insult to injury, they set the payment machines to auto-tip each transaction, but they don't tell you this. They advertise a 4% fee on all card transactions, which is excessive after all this. I think a flight to proper New Orleans might be cheaper than a night of drinking here! read more
The Quarter is really cool and the drinks are super tasty! If you go at peak weekend times (like 9pm or later), expect to wait awhile for your drinks. But this is not necessarily a bad thing because each cocktail is clear hand crafted. The layout is a little hard to walk around, its really just one large bar so sometimes you have to squeeze past people which is fine and typical for a bar. Overall, great vibes and good drinks!! read more

I am in love!! This cocktail bar had all the feels. I felt like I walked into a different era, the minute I walked in. Beautiful decor, live the seating!! The cocktails were fun and different. I cannot wait to stop in later in the evening for the entertainment. Greensboro needed a place like this! read more
Non alcohol drinker here. I don't really go to bars to "drink" but to be with friends, enjoy the place, have something to nibble on and have a good time! The place is great and has that cozy tavern vibe, not a huge space so if the place is packed, you might see yourself squeezing in and a lot of "excuse mes"-human interaction. The drinks are good. Friendly staff. Price on mid-high side. Would come back here again! read more

Delightful drinks! Beautiful interior and awesome overall atmosphere. We visited The Quarter after a comedy show one Saturday night. We arrived around 11pm and downtown was packed to the brim! we were luckily able to snag a parking spot right in the lot next to The Quarter and it was a short walk over. We love the multi level interior and the overall aesthetic! The vibe is so perfect inside we didn't want to leave! We plan to go back soon for a visit earlier in the day. We would love to see some light food options in the future or even an additional location with a restaurant at some point! You will not be disappointed with your visit! read more

From the Spanish moss wrapped around the silver, metal beams to the acrobatic dancers swinging throughout the bar - the moment you walk through the door it's like you're transported from NC to LA. The Quarter comes from the creatives behind Joyners in Winston, so I'm not surprised at the quality of their craft cocktails and design choices but it's still worth seeing for yourself read more
This is a stunning bar! The indoor decor on the bottom level is beautiful and the vibes are perfect. I got a lemon drop martini and my friend got a margarita. Both were excellent. Bartenders were kind and efficient! Great location and definitely will visit again when in Greensboro. read more

So I was at a conference and my coworkers went to this gameroom down the street and I saw this New Orleans themed bar and me being from New Orleans I was intrigued. I ordered a classic cocktail and it was great, it was just me and one other person at the bar and then all of a sudden my coworkers started wandering down to see me and suddenly I must have had 30 people from my office in here getting drinks. So much for a quiet night by myself. We partied pretty much till they kicked us out. It was a great night with outstanding cocktails and service. If I am ever back in the area I will be back. read more

Firstly, this place is stunning. Like truly beautiful. They out did themselves with all the details and thoughtful touches. Service was good. We were there earlier in the evening so it wasn't slammed and we were able to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. The cocktails are alright. I ended up ordering something not on their cocktail menu and it wasn't the best Kentucky mule I've ever had. Lots of ginger beer and sweet, very little liquor. Probably a one and done place for me. read more

The Quarter is absolutely beautiful!! It's the kind of place where you can't help but take a few pictures because every corner is so aesthetic. Their cocktails are delicious, and the espresso martini was very good and definitely on the stronger side (just how I like it!). It's the perfect spot if you want to grab a nice drink, relax, and take some cute photos with friends. Highly recommend for both the vibes and the drinks! read more
Unbelievably cool. The Quarter became our favorite cocktail bar in Greensboro overnight. We expected nothing short of amazing given they share ownership with our favorite Winston bar, Joyners. The theming and ambiance in here makes it feel like you're quite literally in New Orleans. Not sure how they were able to pull it off so perfectly, but they did. The drinks are delicious, and the bourbon selection is really something. I enjoyed a pour of George T. Stagg during our visit this afternoon which was a real treat. read more
Pardon my French (Quarter) but this place is F'n awesome! I'm so excited that we finally have a little (well quite large!) slice of Joyner's in GSO! Location: 100/10 - perfect location! Much needed and super convenient, close to many other establishments Atmosphere: 100/10 - so cool, unique, and quaint. Nothing like it in the area. Also huge inside! Two stories. Upstairs is a little tight with the chairs, but really cool. Do not wear stilettos (or a short dress) here if you plan to go up the stairs. If you're scared of heights the stairs might give you a pause. The trees are phenomenal. Drinks: 7/10 - the (premade) cocktail menu is limited. I had the Oaxacan Sneak Attack and it was delicious! Definitely drink it from the glass (not with a straw) to experience the seasoning on the side (tajin?) with the contents of the drink. My friend had the Big Easy Express, well a version of. They were out of something for the BEE, so the bartender made something similar. It tasted like a whole lot Bailey's so it was just okay. Prices are on par with other cocktail bars close by ($14). Their bar is fully stocked so they could probably make you anything and they also have a short beer and wine menu, but those prices were good also! Service: 9/10 - Great! It wasn't super packed so maybe hard to give an accurate read but there seemed to be an ample amount of bartenders and it was quick. Overall: 8/10. I think once they get their feet under them a little more it'll be even better! Probably just a few kinks to work out. The building and decor are absolutely gorgeous though and the drinks were good enough to go back and I look forward to it! read more
Tonight was my first time visiting The Quarter in downtown Greensboro. I loved the experience! Right away I was greeted by lovely decor and a nice bartender. I liked the large tree in the middle and overall vibe of the place. It felt exotic and fun. The drinks were very good and well made. I ordered a amaretto and scotch. The second one I had was a Big Easy Express. It consisted of espresso and coffee liqueur. Both were delicious! At 10 o'clock the dancers come out to spin around and put on an acrobatic show. It was fun and added to the ambiance of the place. The Quarter is a welcome addition to Greensboro and hopefully will be a sign of things to come. read more

After several months of dying to try The Quarter, my husband and I FINALLY had the opportunity to drop in for a drink early on a Friday evening. We both ordered their Old Fashioned. It was perfect. I love they use the right dark cherries and the presentation was very appealing. I can't wait only imagine the life this establishment takes on after dark with the acrobats and the ambiance! read more

Do they serve any type of food, such as bar snacks? I noticed in one photo from a Yelper that looked like beignets.
Hi, they don't serve any food. I believe the pics you saw were from a special yelp elite event only, where they were serving appetizers.
