Some friends of mine and I decided to check this place out in downtown Greensboro in one of those adventurous nights of ambitious bar hopping(lol). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was very inviting, set up the mood for a night of dancing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bartenders were great and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place gets busy very fast and people were very social.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a couple of dancers and DJ.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't think they serve but i could be wrong.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Bravo! The Quarter is AMAZING on Sunday evenings! I wanted to catch their live New Orleans style jazz after 6pm and oh boy was it a treat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their usual act was away this Sunday but they had another group of musicians that played very well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Quarter is a little bit of everything throughout the week. Club. Cocktail Bar and more. On Sundays and Mondays they have live jazz--which is so neat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Shoutout to Kevin, he's a good bartender. I recommend their pimento cheese plate and crackers and any of their cocktails. They have a few beer options including some on draft. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes inside on a Sunday evening and late summer night is too good. Nice and cool, relaxing and enjoyable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll certainly be back for more.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in to The Quarter downtown whisks you straight to the French quarter in New Orleans! The ambiance is dim and romantic with low lights and a nature-inspired atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There even seems to be a large tree growing through the middle of the venue! Ferns hang up all around the perimeter of the iron balconies and often time aerial dancers are swinging through hoops.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a really cool experience! The service is fast & friendly even on a busy night. They do not serve food at this establishment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sometimes they have a DJ too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I really love visiting the quarter for the vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in there's a huge, beautiful tree growing out of the bar area and the upstairs looks like you're walking the streets of Nola.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's just an entire experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their cocktails are also great - they have both classics and a specialty menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the weekends they have aerial dancers which is different than any bar I've ever been to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar tenders have always been pleasant and the space is massive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I'm taking friends for drinks in GSO the quarter is always a must!

Drinks are good but too many times I've come to sit at the bar long enough to walk out after not being acknowledged.

The quarter is the most unique bar in the Carolina's I seen in a while ! It's only 1 hour & a half from Charlotte, you'll find "The Quarter" located in Greensboro, NC ! It's a stunning, Instagram-worthy cocktail bar inspired by New Orleans French quarters , it's a unique 2 story layout featuring craft cocktails . The ground floor is a spacious bar surrounded by life sized trees & lush moss . While the upstairs balcony offers seating with a view on the main floor! Only thing they are missing here is food ! I think they should offer beignets or something reminiscent to New Orleans not just cocktails . At night on the weekend they have acrobatic dancers etc that perform on the bar top which i hear is pretty dope ! Add The Quarter to the top of your North Carolina bucket list it's a must see

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went on a busy Saturday night and had the best time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick and the drinks were amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is very much a cocktail bar for those who want to have a good night with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love love love the aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Craft cocktail bar with speakeasy vibes. This place is super cool and is an absolutely fantastic spot to get drinks with friends. My first time ever at The Quarter was as a bachelorette party participant. We were able to secure a large booth that was big enough for our party of eight. There were lots of tasty drinks on the menu and I could have blindly put my finger on any of them and been happy. I went with the Voodoo Queen and was a happy lil' camper. The gummy bear in my drink made me so happy! This place was also willing to go off menu, even with obscure drinks. Very impressed with the level of customer service. The space was large, open, and an oasis from the busy downtown city streets. The drawback is that drinks here are expensive. However, the price for the quality of ingredients and for the expert composition of unique drinks is an absolute bargain. Still, this definitely would be more of a special occasion spot for me. Overall, this place should make any craft cocktail drinker very happy. Be sure to include it in your next downtown night!

Finally got around to checking this bar out. Cool french quarter concept. We thought the ring dancers were awesome and pretty unique for this area. The Spanish moss and cypress trees in the center of the bar are a cool touch to make it feel Vieux Carré. The second floor balcony overlooking everything is nice and there is plenty of seating up there. Drinks were pricey but good and service was prompt.

The inside is beautiful, the music volume was too loud, but more importantly, I might have had a one of the worst espresso martinis of my life here. I ordered two, the bartender used only premixed ingredients (rather than fresh espresso), poured the mixture into the martini glasses, but when it wouldn't fill the rims all the way, he poured it back into the shaker, added more ice to dilute it, then poured this even worse mix into my glasses, which still couldn't reach the rims. To add insult to injury, they set the payment machines to auto-tip each transaction, but they don't tell you this. They advertise a 4% fee on all card transactions, which is excessive after all this. I think a flight to proper New Orleans might be cheaper than a night of drinking here!

The Quarter is really cool and the drinks are super tasty! If you go at peak weekend times (like 9pm or later), expect to wait awhile for your drinks. But this is not necessarily a bad thing because each cocktail is clear hand crafted. The layout is a little hard to walk around, its really just one large bar so sometimes you have to squeeze past people which is fine and typical for a bar. Overall, great vibes and good drinks!!

Do they serve any type of food, such as bar snacks? I noticed in one photo from a Yelper that looked like beignets.

Hi, they don't serve any food. I believe the pics you saw were from a special yelp elite event only, where they were serving appetizers.

Our bartender, LT, was so much fun. Every drink was spot on. An espresso martini for my wife and a bold old fashioned for me. On top of that, LT clearly knows his stuff when it comes to both cocktails and bourbon knowledge. I added a 1oz neat pour of 12yr Weller. Let's just say this place is a Weller lover's dream. The owner is a huge Weller fan and keeps the lounge stocked with pretty much every bottle imaginable. Something that's nearly impossible to find in Greensboro. And then there's the showstopper: a Weller Millennium bottle sitting on display. At $600 for a 1oz pour, it's pure eye candy for me. I'll just admire it from one of the comfy couches or large chairs and keep my wallet happy. Whenever we're looking for a classy evening out in downtown Greensboro, Muddle will be our first stop every time.

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

There are no TVs, no loud chaos, it's intentionally designed for conversation. And we really leaned into that... we sat there for hours just talking, and it never felt rushed or transactional. What makes this place stand out is how thoughtful everything is. They have over 60 different bitters, and the drinks are completely handcrafted and customizable. Ours were made by Jacob, and you can tell there's real skill and care behind what they're doing. not just pouring drinks, but creating something tailored to you. But honestly, the highlight for me wasn't even the drinks, although I admit, the drinks were absolutely incredible, but it was the people! I will tell you that I've tried old fashioned several times and never ever liked them. This was the first time in my entire life I've ever actually enjoyed an old fashioned, and ordered another one, on purpose! Get the pawpaws Pepsi. 10/10 We got to meet the owner, Jocelyn, and her partner Brian, and that completely changed the experience. Jocelyn is a real survivor. She's been through things that could've & should have, easily shut this place down or broken her, but instead, she built something meaningful out of it. She's a survivor in every sense of the word. You can feel that resilience in the space. it's not just a business, it's personal. Brian has been a strong, steady support system behind the scenes. Learning more about their story made everything feel more intentional and real, not just another trendy concept. Another thing people don't realize, this place is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients you won't find everywhere. It's part lounge, part community space, part educational experience. It's also dog-friendly, cozy, and set up in a way that actually makes you want to stay awhile and connect, whether that's with the people you came with or the people you meet there. Bitters isn't for people looking for a loud, quick night out. It's for people who appreciate good conversation, intentional drinks, and a deeper story behind where they're spending their time. And once you understand that... it hits different.

I wish I could say that it was worth the wait, but my experience here suggested otherwise. Positives first: Noor is both spacious and stylish with plenty of seating in both the bar and dining areas. Sujan proved to be an attentive and courteous server. That said, the buffet was somewhat underwhelming. It was smaller than those I've found elsewhere in the area. While it offered a solid mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, those offerings were the epitome of playing it safe. Only the hakka noodles (not always an Indian buffet staple) and butter chicken (better than average) really stood out. Nothing else, from the tandoori chicken to the daal to the naan, was prepared poorly, but it was fairly forgettable. Granted, buffet food needs to appeal to a wide range of diners with varying levels of spice tolerance, and so I went in not expecting any heat. Take spiciness out of the equation, however, and the flavors still felt subdued. At least the $20 seemed reasonable for what was offered. It's possible that Noor really shines if you order off the regular menu, and so I wouldn't rule out a return here. The next time I want a weekend lunch buffet, however, I think I'll stick to Taaza.

We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

We had such a great experience at Pura Vida in downtown Greensboro!…read more The atmosphere alone is worth the visit--the UV lighting and murals create a really fun, immersive vibe that makes it feel like a nighttime experience even during the day. Service was friendly and helpful, and our food came out in a timely manner. For drinks, we tried a few margaritas (peach passionfruit and mango), which were both flavorful and nicely sized. I had the "Spicy Influencer," and while I wasn't a fan of the color, the taste was well-balanced with just a mild jalapeño kick. For food: * The lamb chops were a hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * The beef ribs were a great portion and very well seasoned. * The appetizers (empanada and calamari) were also enjoyable. * I ordered the bandeja paisa, and it was easily the standout dish. The portion was generous, and everything on the plate--from the chicharrón to the steak--was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, this was a really enjoyable experience with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid service. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

A nice little fun spot downtown…read more Pros Prime location Great variety on menu Good food Plenty of cocktail options Beautiful restaurant Various types of seating Nice staff Food served quickly Cons Difficult downtown parking Some dishes needed a little more seasoning All food comes out at once I came with a friend from out of town. The mashed potatoes were bland but the lamb chops were flavorful and cooked well. The shrimp and lobster were a little overcooked. The sushi was different and really good.
