Caesar Salad with grilled salmon.
Bill V.

Great food, service was good and decent selections of beer on tap. The restaurant has 2 sections and the bar area gets a little loud. They said, it's more of a sports bar atmosphere. My wife had wings and my son had a burger, both said they were delicious.

Ribs

Went to Rixsters for dinner! The best ribs and the best server (Ashley)! You won't be disappointed!

Steak tips

Went in Friday night to watch the World Series and have dinner. We found a couple seats at the bar. The bartender was really friendly and attentive. My husband had the fried shrimp and I had the steak tips with rice and broccoli. Omg that beef was phenomenal!!! The shrimp was also good, not too greasy, but you have to check out those steak tips. We really liked the people and good here so will definitely be back.

T-Bird in wrap form sub bacon for the ham

Rixter's had nice servers and was a really fun place to grab dinner with a friend after a long day. I was totally not expecting the T-Bird (wrap version) to be so amazing. WOW!!! The atmosphere was somewhat loud-- live music, but it was fun! Felt like I was at a party haha. Maybe because it's a particular night (is why they had the live music). 100% recommend for nice waitresses, good drinks, good food, and a good time!

Double Blackened Chicken Entree with Waffle Fries and Green Beans

I can't believe I've never been to Rixster Grill before! I've been in Greensboro for 26 years and have never once set foot in this place. After today, I'm going to become a regular! I went with some co-workers and they raves about how good the food is here. They were not wrong. For starters, the place is massive! It looks kinda small from outside, but once you walk in it's so much bigger than it appears. The dish I went with was their entree blackened chicken with two sides. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. Their green beans have a lot of flavor and provide a wonderful balance to the plate. I wanted at least one "unhealthy" option, and the waffle fries didn't disappoint.

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.

The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Made w/Dark Roast Sumatra -Get Barreled BBA Stout 10.1% This is perfection for the abv; no cloying sweetness, u get the toffee/vanilla behind the finish from the barrel-aging but the tannins & malt from the stout -in-barrel come through gorgeously giving u an unsweet BBA stout that holds up to the 10.1% -Shape Shack Passion Fruit Pear Sour 3.4% I usually don't do sours but this one drinks like a prickly pear (fruit) margarita, and I'm not mad about it!

I'm giving it 5 stars mostly just because of how much better it is than other B.W.W. locations I've been to, not strictly because B.W.W. is a 5 star experience generally. I've been here a few times over the past few years and it's always exactly what you want - decent beers or drinks, decent wings or burgers (or apps especially), and decent service - all while watching the game on many TVs.

Both times, the wait after arriving to pick up the take-out was very long, and this last time, I didn't get most of my food. The first time was on the night of December 12th, 2025. The order was supposed to be ready around 11:50 PM EST. I got there at that time, and it took about 30 minutes for them to get it to me. They did tell me something had broken in the back, and they had to remake my food, and they kept me up to date on stuff, so no real complaint at that time, despite the long wait. Tonight (technically yesterday), December 27, 2025, my takeout order was supposed to be ready at 11:10 PM EST. I arrived there to pick it up at that time. I never got my food. I waited until 11:45-ish PM and nobody told me what was going on. They did make my dessert. It was actually ready on time. They tried to give me just my dessert, but I told them I had ordered an All-American Cheeseburger and a thing of Mac-n-Cheese. After 35-40 minutes of waiting, they came back and gave me my dessert again. I was so tired from work (mandatory Overtime on top of that) and tired of waiting, I said screw it and just took the dessert and gave up on my food. I can forgive the restaurant if it was a one-off long wait. But two? In a span of almost two weeks? I can't let that slide, especially when I had to give up on getting my food and settle just for the dessert.

We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends.
