    Burger and baked beans
    Gina D.

My husband and I went on a Tuesday night and they had a burger special so we both got it. It was my first burger from them and it was very good! I got the baked beans as a side and they were also very good! The deal kept our meal to about $20 which is really good these days. That includes tea for both of us. Service was quick and attentive. Ambiance was appropriate for a sports bar. We will definitely be back and probably on a Tuesday again for the burgers!

So...we decided to grab a last minute bite on New Year's Eve. Been here several times and never had an issue like this!!! My date ordered a soda, I ordered a water and a beer. The server never asked draught or bottle. She brought the soda right away....as we sat there waiting....waiting. she comes and takes our food orders. We both ordered wings and fries. His fried mine grilled. We waited some more...no beer or water for me. My date goes and asked for our waitress. Waitress comes oh she's working on your beer....still didn't bring the water. We get our food....waiting still for water and beer....omg they finally came. Then manager comes over. . I heard it took a little while for you to get your beer. I Said A little while?? She didn't catch my sarcasm. Never offered to take it off the bill or even apologize just oh I heard it took a while. To top it off the wings were so small at about 14.00 for 10 definitely not worth it. Like I said never had an issue like this there before but it'll be a long long long time before I give them a chance again. You would think the waitress would have been smart enough to at least bring my water....nope.

I like eating lunch at KBJ in High Point. The bartender, Jamie, is great. She knows the menu and can answer any questions you may have. The back of the menu has lunch specials and "early bird" specials with discounted pricing, good bargin.

We had a really pleasant experience here on a busy Saturday night, and I think it has convinced me I should visit again soon. Kickback Jack's is a huge sports bar, with TVs everywhere and enough seating to handle even the largest of groups. We had 10 people and somewhere like this was what we needed, and they did a great job. Service was outstanding, and the food was pretty good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but given some of my past experiences at other locations, they exceeded what I was expecting. I got the bacon jam burger without mayo, and while it was a little too far on the sweet side, I expected some sweetness. The perfectly round patty was a little unnerving, though I expect that they are actually using a circular cutter on raw beef instead of anything frozen. Overall, it was a satisfying burger with plenty of fries to accompany it. Fried pickles were shared as an appetizer, and were excellent. My partner got a chicken alfredo pasta dish which was surprisingly good, with enough leftover for a second meal. In general, this is a great place to bring a group with something to please most tastes. During football season, expect large crowds.

Today was my first time visiting Kickback Jacks. I have heard mixed reviews about the restaurant but as I was invited to go with some friends I decided to check it out. We were a large party of 10 and were seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. I found the service to be really good as the restaurant wasn't very busy. I ordered a cranberry turkey flat bread sandwich. It was delicious! It had candied bacon and cranberry apple chutney. The flavors paired so well together. The fries it came with had a great taste but could have been a little crispier. Overall delicious and highly recommended!

Our visit today, we ordered 3 appetizers, no meals. One was firecracker shrimp, there was a piece of chicken in it- okay whatever maybe it fell in... but the chicken was raw, the only way to find out was to bite in it. We also ordered fried pickles and cheesesteak eggrolls, nothing with chicken in it, so it really just shows the carelessness of whomever is back there cooking. Please do better, salmonella is a very real thing.

This was my first time going to this Kickback Jacks location and unfortunately it was not the best experience. I've had great experiences at the other locations so this may have just been a one off occurrence. We ordered pretzel sticks and drinks to start. The pretzel sticks were pretty good. We didn't receive our drinks until after our entrees came out. My sister ordered a salad with her meal to start but wasn't served the salad until after we were almost done eating our entrees. I ordered the Cajun Alfredo pasta as my entree. The pasta itself was good but the chicken was pretty bad. It had a rubbery like texture and I couldn't eat it.

Service was soooo slow and inattentive. I can't blame it on the girls that were working that area though. There was only 2 of them and about 50 people. They should have had more staff! I was dying for water for about 20 mins that I had to run to the bathroom and let the sink water run and sadly scoop some of that into my mouth because I was dying from having such a dry mouth. Got the nachos for an app and the egg rolls, which were both pretty good, but the need to get water was desperate and couldn't be satisfied. It was an exciting environment with lots of TV's and great for sports nights, which is why we went. Overall, probably won't come back, seemed a bit understaffed and food options weren't the best.

Update: 2nd visit. We returned the next night. We requested Julia. Once again, awesome service!! She recommended food & desserts. Great conversation. I wish I stayed closer just to visit her. Her vibe is so cool. 1st visit: Julia rocks!!! Her energy was phenomenal! Very attentive. Great recommendations on food. Her personality was upbeat for the evening time. She made us laugh and smile. I also had the pasta but didn't get a pic of it. The atmosphere was very energetic. We watched the game there. Any time I'm back in this area, I'm going to see Julia. I highly recommend her. I'll wait in line just to sit in her area.

I went during the week. This location can get busy. No complaints there...that just means everyone knows this is the spot to go. Greta place to go after work if you are in the area. They have a nice size bar area. We sat in a booth. I wish I could remember my servers name, but she was awesome. She checked on my table often and got our order right the first time. This was my first time getting a pizza from this restaurant. It was so good. I got the Carnivore pizza. There was the perfect balance of meat and cheese. The grilled wings with sweet Thai chili size was so good. I'm a sucker for fried pickles. They are nice size...could be a little more crunchier, but not bad. They have drink specials every night. So check that out before you go. This particular night was half off a specific type of wine (yay!). I've never had a bad time at this location. Definitely try it.

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

I ordered the Daddy's Philly with a side of pesto pasta salad and banana pudding. The Phily was really good. It came loaded with cheese, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños and Garlic mayo on a soft bun that wasn't soggy or stale. I was a little surprised because, despite the jalapeños, I didn't find it spicy at all. I love garlic but I think I would prefer regular mayo to the garlic mayo. Compared to other cheesesteaks I've had, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Instead of fries, I chose the pesto pasta salad. The pasta itself had the perfect chewy texture, and I honestly wanted to keep eating it. Unfortunately, it was too salty for my palate. I could only manage a couple of bites, which was disappointing because the texture was amazing.....like how do you get your pasta to that texture, spill the beans!
