My mom and I stumbled upon this place after getting our nails done nearby and I'm honestly glad we did! The food was good (mostly typical bar food but still delicious!). The wings had a lot of flavor and were a little spicy which I liked. The pretzels were delicious. The cheese sauce was the only thing that could've been better. We also got the garlic cheese curds and they were SO garlicky and cheesy. I was really impressed with those. My mom got the taco salad and she was really impressed. It comes in a taco shell which is a nice touch and they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. My favorite thing about this spot though was the vibe! We ended up there on karaoke night which was such a nice treat. They were doing a karaoke competition and had a panel of "judges" which was so fun! Our service was really good too. It seemed like a lot of people were regulars but everyone was super nice! Definitely a fun spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

The Podium has opened up in place of Ham's and they haven't missed a beat. They still have that old Ham's style/sports bar vibe to it. But I did see they do have some more games to play from and also pretty much a full on DJ Booth as well! They do have a literal podium/DJ Booth in the middle of the place. They still boast some vegetarian offerings and a full bar as well. Sports fans rejoice as they still have the live ticker going across the inside bar area and the outdoor seating area still has tables and plenty of seating options and you can also order your drinks straight from outside. The service was quick and to the point!

We checked out the Podium for lunch on one of the snow days. It was towards the end of the week, so we figured more people would be out, but the place was pretty empty. We got good service but it seemed awfully dark inside for lunchtime. The food did come out pretty fast and my grilled chicken sandwich was good. It did seem like a big portion of chicken, which was nice and moist. A little disappointed they charged extra for the cheese, the menu only mentioned an up charge for bacon. I do hope business picks up for this new restaurant, too many places have closed recently.

So....the reason not a 2, server was extremely polite and let us know there was a group that came in just in front of us. The food not so good. Grouper was over breaded and over cooked. The hot chips were cold and soggy. The Chicken wrap was extremely dry. Fries were good. Nothing says classy place like give me your debit card when ordering your drinks from a table where you plan on getting dinner...not!! We will probably be back for entertainment, but definitely not to eat!!!!!

After a some discussion and online menu review, we settled on Rixster. We've, been many times in the past, but haven't placed a to go order since the days of Covid I called in the our order as I was finishing up a few errands, the hostess who took the order was very friendly and said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived a very full house of families dining and sports fans enjoying food, drink and drink while watching the game in the bar area. I figured I'd have a chance to grab a beer while I waited for the food to be ready, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was already done. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill! The sandwich was delicious, marinated in teriyaki and super juicy, topped with cheese and a grilled pineapple ring. It really hit the spot, and definitely filled me up. The mac and cheese was also fantastic, smooth, creamy and very tasty...only wish I had gotten an extra side of it. Overall, it was another delicious meal from Rixster Grill! If you like supporting flavorful, locally owned spots, I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't before, they've got something for everyone on their menu and you won't be disappointed

Very friendly and seemed genuinely excited for new customers and gave some recommendations. She provided excellent service! We decided to try the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Tortilla Chips. It was pretty good. Kind of an odd texture and not something we would get again, but were glad we tried it. We then decided to split the Carolina Burger and the Steak Quesadilla. The burger was good, messy but good! The tater tots were good as well. The meat inside the quesadilla seemed more like smashburger type hamburger meat rather than actual steak, but again pretty good. Not a whole lot going on with it, wish it had peppers/onions in it as well or as an option to add for more flavor. We would probably not get anything we ordered again but will definitely go back to try another recommendation from Kelley, or even just for an appetizer and a few drinks if she is tending bar.

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

We loved their homemade dressings. Service: Our server was great! Attentive, kind, and offered to let us taste test. She also was helpful in her descriptions and recommendations. However, our experience fell short upon arrival. The hostess said they don't have a table for 5 but we could add a chair to a 4 top. And when I said that's not a comfortable or reasonable set up for 5 people and asked if we could push two tables together, she seemed annoyed. Who thinks it's acceptable for a party of 5 to sit someone at the corner point of a 4 top table when there are open tables all around? Management advice: If this is truly your approach, I'd recommend you rethink that logic. This is basic hospitality.

Both times, the wait after arriving to pick up the take-out was very long, and this last time, I didn't get most of my food. The first time was on the night of December 12th, 2025. The order was supposed to be ready around 11:50 PM EST. I got there at that time, and it took about 30 minutes for them to get it to me. They did tell me something had broken in the back, and they had to remake my food, and they kept me up to date on stuff, so no real complaint at that time, despite the long wait. Tonight (technically yesterday), December 27, 2025, my takeout order was supposed to be ready at 11:10 PM EST. I arrived there to pick it up at that time. I never got my food. I waited until 11:45-ish PM and nobody told me what was going on. They did make my dessert. It was actually ready on time. They tried to give me just my dessert, but I told them I had ordered an All-American Cheeseburger and a thing of Mac-n-Cheese. After 35-40 minutes of waiting, they came back and gave me my dessert again. I was so tired from work (mandatory Overtime on top of that) and tired of waiting, I said screw it and just took the dessert and gave up on my food. I can forgive the restaurant if it was a one-off long wait. But two? In a span of almost two weeks? I can't let that slide, especially when I had to give up on getting my food and settle just for the dessert.

It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. This time I came back by myself and tried the noodle bar instead, and it's a completely different experience but still worth it. The noodle bar is set up like a small Korean grocery store station. Shelves of instant ramen to choose from, you grab your bowl, add your noodles and seasoning, then use one of the machines to cook it. There are three settings and I used M1, which came out just right. The broth was hot and the noodles had a good texture, not mushy. This is a basic setup. No fresh toppings, no eggs, no extras to dress it up. Some places offer that, but this one keeps it simple. If you go in expecting a full ramen bar you might be disappointed, but if you understand what they're going for, it works. And don't break your noodles. Leave them long so you can slurp them the way you're supposed to. If you watch Korean dramas, you've seen this a hundred times. Slurp the noodles and drink the broth after. I also ordered the Cajun tiger roll, 10 pieces, and that plus the noodles was more than enough food. The roll had tempura shrimp and cucumber inside, topped with spicy crab salad, spicy mayonnaise, and flame-seared salmon. The sushi chef used a handheld torch to sear the salmon right in front of me, and that added a nice finish. Between the noodles and sushi, I was full. This is a good option if you don't want to do the full all-you-can-eat. It's quick, easy, and you still get a good experience without committing to grilling at the table. I'd still recommend this place for groups, but now I'd also tell people not to overlook the bar if you're by yourself or just want something lighter. Must order: Instant ramen (use M1) and the Cajun tiger roll Heads up: Noodle bar is basic with no fresh toppings, manage expectations accordingly

When I asked about it, the explanation did not make the policy seem any more fair. What concerned me even more was the safety issue. There was hot water left out in the open where it could easily be knocked over or reached by a small child. In a restaurant that welcomes families, this creates an unnecessary risk for burns and injuries. Between the unexpected charge for a toddler and the lack of attention to basic safety, the experience left a negative impression. I hope management reviews both their pricing policies and safety practices to better serve customers and families.
