My mom and I stumbled upon this place after getting our nails done nearby and I'm honestly glad we did! The food was good (mostly typical bar food but still delicious!). The wings had a lot of flavor and were a little spicy which I liked. The pretzels were delicious. The cheese sauce was the only thing that could've been better. We also got the garlic cheese curds and they were SO garlicky and cheesy. I was really impressed with those. My mom got the taco salad and she was really impressed. It comes in a taco shell which is a nice touch and they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. My favorite thing about this spot though was the vibe! We ended up there on karaoke night which was such a nice treat. They were doing a karaoke competition and had a panel of "judges" which was so fun! Our service was really good too. It seemed like a lot of people were regulars but everyone was super nice! Definitely a fun spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

We checked out the Podium for lunch on one of the snow days. It was towards the end of the week, so we figured more people would be out, but the place was pretty empty. We got good service but it seemed awfully dark inside for lunchtime. The food did come out pretty fast and my grilled chicken sandwich was good. It did seem like a big portion of chicken, which was nice and moist. A little disappointed they charged extra for the cheese, the menu only mentioned an up charge for bacon. I do hope business picks up for this new restaurant, too many places have closed recently.

The Podium has opened up in place of Ham's and they haven't missed a beat. They still have that old Ham's style/sports bar vibe to it. But I did see they do have some more games to play from and also pretty much a full on DJ Booth as well! They do have a literal podium/DJ Booth in the middle of the place. They still boast some vegetarian offerings and a full bar as well. Sports fans rejoice as they still have the live ticker going across the inside bar area and the outdoor seating area still has tables and plenty of seating options and you can also order your drinks straight from outside. The service was quick and to the point!

So....the reason not a 2, server was extremely polite and let us know there was a group that came in just in front of us. The food not so good. Grouper was over breaded and over cooked. The hot chips were cold and soggy. The Chicken wrap was extremely dry. Fries were good. Nothing says classy place like give me your debit card when ordering your drinks from a table where you plan on getting dinner...not!! We will probably be back for entertainment, but definitely not to eat!!!!!

Finally checking this place out! Been on the brewery hitlist for a hot min! They've been open 7yrs…read more& I've been tryna make it here for just over 3! Did not disappoint! The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Made w/Dark Roast Sumatra -Get Barreled BBA Stout 10.1% This is perfection for the abv; no cloying sweetness, u get the toffee/vanilla behind the finish from the barrel-aging but the tannins & malt from the stout -in-barrel come through gorgeously giving u an unsweet BBA stout that holds up to the 10.1% -Shape Shack Passion Fruit Pear Sour 3.4% I usually don't do sours but this one drinks like a prickly pear (fruit) margarita, and I'm not mad about it!

We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise!

Parking was sufficent in front of the entrance but not sure we would be that successful on a High Point Rockers game night. With 20 rotating taps, there's something for every taste: craft beer, wine by the glass and by the bottle, new specialty pours to try and mocktails, making it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. Seasonal cocktails were flowing the nights we visited--peppermint espresso martinis, spiced nightcaps, and cranberry-ginger mules kept the holiday spirit high during the cold night. Then karaoke took over, with the whole room singing along to crowd favorites like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," that Hawaiian Christmas song haha plus there was a dramatic, everyone-at-the-bar version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You." It's the kind of cozy-but-lively night where Christmas spirit meets late-night funand no one wanted the music to end. The super peppy bartenders kept the atmosphere energetic and welcoming, even on that rainy night. This place is perfect for meeting friends, girls night out, first dates or lingering after a great meal. Weekly events like trivia nights, karaoke, and live music keep the vibe lively and fun, ensuring there's always something happening. The whole building is open so if you need a quite, romantic spot away from the others to talk, maybe lay out a card game or just to escape that "song you hate on karoke", patrons can sit at other, comfy tables throughout the establishment (and take your drinks). Whether you're there for the drinks, the entertainment, or the community feel, Bevelry delivers a consistently great experience.
