Good bar for the games and also pool. The chicken dip is the best thing on the menu. Much seating and it's beside a hotel.

Ordered the Carolina ribs with coleslaw and cooper fries. Didn't eat the coleslaw "it was that bad" funky taste and I like coleslaw. So that sucked ..The ribs not the greatest. Well they were horrible and I wouldn't recommend . May have been a lil old . The fries were great . The best part of my order.

After leaving Spare Time, my friend and I decided to stop here. It was around 11:10pm on a Sunday evening. It wasn't busy at all. We sat ourselves. There were a couple open booths but they were dirty, whether that be the table or the ground underneath. We ended up sitting at a table. Our waitress was Myha, who actually introduced herself! Omg. Kudos to her!! This isn't something I've experienced in a while at a restaurant! We needed time and ordered drinks around 11:15pm. We each got a Jamaican shaker, which was tasty. At 11:28pm, we ordered Wilding Out Chicken as an app. It was a good sweet/spicy mix. I don't like spicy foods, but this was tolerable. Service this visit was very timely and Myha gave good customer service. Coopers close at midnight. Before we knew it, time had flew by and were the only ones there around 12:20amish. We became more aware of the time when we noticed a song playing on the juke box. It was essentially a closing song. We got the message and left lol. The bill had already been paid.

So I don't come to Coopers often but some of my friends really like it. The food is and I honestly feel like the drinks are overpriced. Saturday nights there is more of a crowd.

Spinach dip on the left. Crab dip on the right.

So late night in Greensboro this is the place to be for good music and good snacks. Drinks are OK (the bartender didn't make our drinks correctly). The bar service was not so great. But the waitress that helped us when we were ready to order food was great! Because of her this place gets 4 stars for me. They have pool tables & you can do karaoke (at least when we went. It was a Friday night) they also had a great DJ. Security is in front so please don't act a fool. There's also a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice. We ordered Spinach dip and crab dip. Both were really really good! The spinach dip had a little kick to it so beware. The crab dip was my fave out of the two. Creamy and delicious. Especially the pita bread that came with it! MUST HAVE! I'll be back again on another drunken night in Greensboro lol.

The service was great. The young lady that served us was very nice. The food was delicious. It is a bar/grill, they have TVs around for sports watching, a private area for cigar smoking and what seems to be a dance floor and karaoke. BUT, for it to be a small place there were 5 very well built security guards, scanning everyone coming in, made me wonder, but I enjoyed myself, my meal, loved the company of my co-workers, then left.

Thai Thai Sweet Chili And mesquite wings

We arrived at Cooper's Ale House around 7:45 on a Saturday night. We were greeted by two armed security guards at the front carding everyone before you could even enter the establishment. I'm not too familiar with this part of town but it seemed necessary. We were able to be seated immediately and out our drink orders in which came out relatively quickly. We placed our food orders and began to wait. It took about an hour for all of our food to come out on a night where the restaurant was not crowded at all. My water glass stayed empty once the food finally did arrive until we left. I ordered traditional bone in chicken wings, half with Thai Chili sauce and half with Mesquite seasoning on them. Some of of the wings were large and a great size while others were very small. Both the seasoning and the sauce tasted great and the wings were still crispy even with the wet sauce on them. I also ordered a side of onion rings that came with some sort of zesty sauce that were also delicious but kind of cold once they finally arrived. At about 9pm the juke box cut off and a DJ on the other side of the restaurant started playing music. We had no idea this was scheduled to happen, and I wouldn't have minded it at all except for the fact that it was so loud I couldn't hear anyone that I was with unless they were practically yelling. Here's what ruined the experience for me. I didn't notice this, but someone in my group with a keen eye noticed I'm very small writing on the menu that it says on Fridays and Saturdays am 18% gratuity is added to all checks no matter the party size. I thought that was strange as I've seen automatic tips added when you have a large group, but not automatically on the weekends. And I wasn't complaining because I always tip a minimum of 20% and frequently more than 20% depending on the service. When we got our checks it was not an itemized receipt. It had the bare minimum amount of information like the date and time, server name, and then just the total amount due and the tip line. It said nothing about the automatic 18% tip on the bill and I did the math based off what we had ordered and sure enough the extra tip was already included in the total. The issue I have with this is if you don't see the area where it states they add a tip automatically on these nights and do your usual 20% tip on the check then you're giving almost a 40% tip on your check. It just seemed shady and pretty dishonest like they're trying to squeeze a little bit of an extra tip out of you. Not to mention I didn't look at the bar menu so I don't know if it was stated there or not. It would be especially difficult to figure this out if you're drinking and most people inside the place that night seemed to be at the bar. Overall food was good, just the experience in general put me off. I might come back if I'm in the area. Definitely not if it's a weekend though

This business has no respect for anyone around it. It has huge events and people park in nearby parking lots with no regard for others.

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.

We went to go on a Saturday and it was a 4 hour wait to walk in. With the pass you get 2 hours of play for up to 6 total people. Yes it is some limited hours, but we make it a weekend morning event. Definitely check it out. We got to go on the 2nd floor which we feel is nicer than the first floor. Our bay on the second floor had a couch for people who were waiting to Golf while the bay we were in on the first floor only had a bar table. Reservations were easy to make and we were notified via text when everything was ready. Very seamless. We did try some of the food this time. My wife and stepson had the breakfast burrito and we had fries and buffalo chicken dip. The burritos were delicious with the perfect amount of each ingredient. There was plenty of melty cheese and the tortilla was crisp on the outside. The only complaint was the salsa was not a favorite of everyone. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the center... a perfect French fry. Could have used more salt but I know that's a personal preference so many places don't put it on them. The buffalo chicken dip had mixed reactions. My wife really liked the creaminess and that it wasn't overly spicy. My daughter and I felt like there wasn't enough chicken in it and it could have been more flavorful. Everyone loved the breadcrumb topping on it. Overall we had a great time and will be coming back just about every weekend this summer.

We ordered drinks and an appetizer when our server first came by, and after that, we never saw them again. No one checked on us, our food order was never taken, and we couldn't even get refills on our drinks. The only time someone returned was when our bay time was up. We were really disappointed because we enjoy coming here and always look forward to it. The atmosphere and games are great, but the lack of service made it frustrating and not nearly as enjoyable as it should have been. We hope this was just an off night, because we'd love for the service to match how fun the place is.

After a some discussion and online menu review, we settled on Rixster. We've, been many times in the past, but haven't placed a to go order since the days of Covid I called in the our order as I was finishing up a few errands, the hostess who took the order was very friendly and said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived a very full house of families dining and sports fans enjoying food, drink and drink while watching the game in the bar area. I figured I'd have a chance to grab a beer while I waited for the food to be ready, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was already done. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill! The sandwich was delicious, marinated in teriyaki and super juicy, topped with cheese and a grilled pineapple ring. It really hit the spot, and definitely filled me up. The mac and cheese was also fantastic, smooth, creamy and very tasty...only wish I had gotten an extra side of it. Overall, it was another delicious meal from Rixster Grill! If you like supporting flavorful, locally owned spots, I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't before, they've got something for everyone on their menu and you won't be disappointed

Both times, the wait after arriving to pick up the take-out was very long, and this last time, I didn't get most of my food. The first time was on the night of December 12th, 2025. The order was supposed to be ready around 11:50 PM EST. I got there at that time, and it took about 30 minutes for them to get it to me. They did tell me something had broken in the back, and they had to remake my food, and they kept me up to date on stuff, so no real complaint at that time, despite the long wait. Tonight (technically yesterday), December 27, 2025, my takeout order was supposed to be ready at 11:10 PM EST. I arrived there to pick it up at that time. I never got my food. I waited until 11:45-ish PM and nobody told me what was going on. They did make my dessert. It was actually ready on time. They tried to give me just my dessert, but I told them I had ordered an All-American Cheeseburger and a thing of Mac-n-Cheese. After 35-40 minutes of waiting, they came back and gave me my dessert again. I was so tired from work (mandatory Overtime on top of that) and tired of waiting, I said screw it and just took the dessert and gave up on my food. I can forgive the restaurant if it was a one-off long wait. But two? In a span of almost two weeks? I can't let that slide, especially when I had to give up on getting my food and settle just for the dessert.
