We love Sunday brunch - between the bloody Mary's and mimosas; stuffed French toast or potato pancakes - anything we've tried on the menu has not disappointed They've got Ruben egg rolls too and holy smokes they are amazing

Cold, dreary day so we thought we'd head out for some comfort food. My husband is British and we both adore many dishes from the UK. Had the fish n chips (always a good bet) and the chicken rasher bacon boxty.(a new to me fave) On our last visit I had a boxty for the first time and had the Reuben one. So yummy! Very skimpy portions of ketchup and tartar sauce. We had to ask for more but we were nearly finished with the dish by the time we saw someone to ask for more. We opted for bread pudding since my husband is a big fan of bread pudding in general but I cannot recommend this one. It has a congealed look and texture and just did not hit the mark at all. A squirt of canned whipped cream didn't do anything to add to the experience. Bread pudding is so easy to make, not sure why this one was just so...well, odd. Service was great and the place was quite empty given the rainy day so I can't really speak to the ambiance other than it was a bit bright for a dinner service. We will visit again as it is in the neighborhood and gives us a taste of our happy place.

There are pros and cons to this place. Pros: I've enjoyed my food each time I go here. They have a great menu with a lot of hearty options. I've been here for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Their Fish and Chips is delicious and they'll sometimes run specials, like a special salmon dish, that are definitely worth trying. Cons: their evening staff seems to be taking a "masks optional" approach during COVID. I complained after my first visit when no staff was wearing masks and upon returning, was surprised to see only one staff member wearing a mask. Also, service has been slow the last few times I've been here. Overall, the food is great. I am just planning on doing take out or delivery until management manages to correct the mask wearing problem.

(2.5 stars) Named for a traditional Irish ring and boasting an equally traditional (for the most part) menu, the Claddagh has the Gaelic pub look down cold, an image solidified by the tricolours displayed amid the wood-and-brick interior. Whatever its bonafides, however, the Claddagh offers a fairly underwhelming experience. My first visit here was to place and pick up a takeout order. The hostess who greeted me was amiable, but none of the front-of-house staff seemed to be wearing masks. The food also took a few minutes longer than estimated though it wasn't an unreasonable wait by any means. I went with fried green tomatoes, a half-order of fish and chips, and a half-order of shepherd's pie to feed two. Though the half-orders were billed as enough food for anyone who wasn't starving, portion sizes skewed small. Prices also seemed inflated for the restaurant's concept. Our half orders were $10 apiece with full orders starting in the mid-teens. The fried green tomatoes, an app, ran $11.49. A good value this is not, but it would be pardonable for top-notch food. On that account, The Claddagh is a mixed bag. The fried green tomatoes, thickly battered and accompanied by a deliciously zesty smoked gouda pimento, were very good and well worth it. The fish, a beer battered cod, was likewise battered well and nicely crisped without being dry inside. The shepherd's pie was heartily satisfying though the flavors were a bit understated. On the other hand, the sides ranged from forgettable (slaw) to bad (flavorless, freezer fry-grade chips). The Claddagh's menu appeal and the meal's high notes were enough for me to not write this place off completely, but if I return, it will be with lowered expectations.

The food was great! We had the Irish Wedge and the drunken chicken and the panko fried chicken and the food was amazing! Our waiter Troy was AWESOME!!! and the cocktails were a TOTAL MISS!!!

Reuben Sandwich (listed as 10.25, but actually 11.25) with MINIMAL ACCOUTREMENTS....So, make sure to ask for extra sauce and kraut

The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it is REALLY good, then other times it is subpar. Service is fine, that of a pub/bar.

We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise!

After a some discussion and online menu review, we settled on Rixster. We've, been many times in the past, but haven't placed a to go order since the days of Covid I called in the our order as I was finishing up a few errands, the hostess who took the order was very friendly and said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived a very full house of families dining and sports fans enjoying food, drink and drink while watching the game in the bar area. I figured I'd have a chance to grab a beer while I waited for the food to be ready, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was already done. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill! The sandwich was delicious, marinated in teriyaki and super juicy, topped with cheese and a grilled pineapple ring. It really hit the spot, and definitely filled me up. The mac and cheese was also fantastic, smooth, creamy and very tasty...only wish I had gotten an extra side of it. Overall, it was another delicious meal from Rixster Grill! If you like supporting flavorful, locally owned spots, I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't before, they've got something for everyone on their menu and you won't be disappointed

When we ordered, the items weren't read back to us, and unfortunately, the order did come out incorrectly. The drinks definitely a highlight! They were well-made and didn't skim on the alcohol. The meal was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly stood out as spectacular. It's solid pub fare if you're looking for a casual bite. Overall, McCoul's is a decent spot for a strong drink and a cozy, dim atmosphere.
