Once again it is Smashie Thursday. The bar is full for a reason. It's good to be a predictable customer: "Two smashies to go." Make sure you hit them up on Tuesdays for the cheap Mexican beer. The beer is so cold, your teeth will hurt! read more

Our friends suggested Tipsy'z Tavern because it's a regular place for them. We had bone we been and are always down to support local businesses. There was some outside seating but too chilly for us that day, so we sat inside. The inside isn't huge by any means, but they accommodated our group quickly. I had the bbq wings and they were so good! Wings were crispy and sauced up well. I always get disappointed when wings seem to be drizzled with sauce, but these were nice and saucy. They had a draft beer menu as well as bottles and a full bar. The service wasn't the quickest, but they were busy so understandable :) the food came out fast though. Definitely would go here again if I'm in the area. read more

The food is always great. The staff is amazing. My friends and I eat lunch here at least once a week and have done so for years You will not be sorry. read more

Taco Tuesdays is a great time to visit for the price savy. Not much in terms of ambiance. I feel like I am eating in my dad's garage. But the food is really good, not to mention the drinks are great. Service is fine. I recommend eating outside on the patio, it gives you a neighborhood hang out feel. We will come again. read more

This place is small inside and we went in during a busy time so we were lucky to snag a table. It was a very forgettable experience as everything was just okay. No complaints or problems exactly with food or service just lackluster. We had a chicken sandwich and fries and per request off menu steak and fries. Sweet tea was a tad in the sweeter side. The vibe inside was noisy with a very diverse in age crowd. Felt more like a diner and less like a tavern. read more

We were in High Point and looking for a place to eat before heading back to Winston. Once again, my wife checked our bookmarks in Yelp since we are not normally in High Point near meal time and we were excited to try somewhere new. We deciding a casual Tavern & Grill fit our needs perfectly and we made our way to Tipsy'z. The relatively small building is located near the busy intersection of Westchester Drive and West Lexington Avenue, directly across the street from Sheetz. Immediately the term "hidden gem" comes to mind. We could see outdoor tables with High Point University umbrella's and recognized this is likely a local spot for University students and staff. We decided to check out the inside since it was very hot outside. We stepped in and were immediately greeted by a young woman. There was limited seating available at the bar so we opted to sit at a small table. The young woman followed us and dropped off menus. In addition to their regular menu which offers a great selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more, they also had a specials menu. Our server brought us water and we asked if she would tell us her favorite items. The first thing she mentioned was that she loved the French dip and that sounded perfect to me. (House made smoked roast beef sliced thin with Swiss cheese and garlic aioli on a toasted hoagie roll and served with herbed au jus). I opted for no mushrooms since I am not a fan. I also chose fries as my side. My wife also chose an item from the specials menu, the Apple-licious salad. (mixed greens with goat cheese, walnuts, house made granny smith apple chutney, and honey lime vinaigrette). She added grilled chicken to it as well. My wife visited the restroom and reported it was clean and well stocked and we enjoyed relaxing before our food arrived. Both of the ladies working were very friendly and helpful to everyone and made us feel welcome. Our food arrived in a timely manner and looked delicious! We immediately dug in and enjoyed each and every bite. As we ate, we both agreed we will absolutely stop in again when in the area. The service, food, and prices are all excellent. We also inquired if they had stickers and our server was quick to grab us one which I will add to my collection of stickers on my tool box. Overall, a great experience! read more

Good food, great service! It has stood test of time. My first visit was in 1966, known as The Majorette.

Our first visit to Tipsy'z was today. The staff seem to float to help each other and they were all welcoming and friendly. The food was great! We split orders of the Gouda Burger and the French Dip, both with hot chips and ranch. Everything was DEEEELISH! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. We will definitely return as there were several things we wanted to try. The gender defined bathrooms (thank you!) were very clean and large. read more

This is a small dining area inside with patio seating available. Definitely making the best use of space. Limited parking spaces. Our server was good, answered our questions. Had the Baja Mahi BLT Tacos w Brussel sprouts... Cheeseburger-with onion rings. The tacos were unique in flavor wouldn't say the are amazing more just "interesting ". The Brussels sprouts were good however there were more leaves then actual Brussel sprouts. Must have gotten the last scoop. My food was only warm. My husbands burger (he said) was really good. Onions very tasty. We didn't take advantage of the bar but there are plenty of options. Good music and nice people. I could see this being a local favorite. read more

Tipsy'z was definitely busy! I ordered a soda, a burger with L, M, goat cheese and a fried egg. My side was Brussels. My husband got a fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese (Southern chick) with a side of hot chips. We sat outside in a shaded patio area, clean and friendly staff! Will certainly come back. read more

Went to Tipzy'z and wow--so good! I got the steak Philly and was seriously impressed. It had actual pieces of steak, not that shredded stuff you get at other places, and they cooked it perfectly just like I asked. Super flavorful and juicy. The service was amazing--fast, friendly, and they kept our drinks coming without even having to ask. The vibe of the place was super relaxed too, just a chill spot to kick back and enjoy great food and drinks. Definitely coming back. Great vibes all around! read more

The food was spectacular and the service, Exceptional!! Ambiance was very down home. You greet and seat yourself and everything else is knocked right out the park. Horrible service! Rude waiters. Owners seem like they don't care about there customers or employees at all.

WE LOVE TIPSY'Z!!! It's our go to lunch spot during the work week and the staff is absolutely wonderful! You cannot beat their specials and the food is excellent! By far our favorite place in High Point! See you tomorrow for Smash Burger Thursday! read more

This has quickly become our favorite place to grab a quick dinner. Every time we leave we say "this place never lets us down"!! The food is consistently good. We def have a "usual" but everything on the menu is delicious. The staff stays on top of everything and you never want or need something for long! I love that it is a casual laid back environment and I can show up no matter what I am wearing. They also have a fantastic patio if the weather allows you to sit outdoors. First review for the new year. Yeah, not much activity. I love Tipsy'z. In my opinion it's a great place for burgers, salads, wings. I'm sure they have your favorite brew too . The service is on point for sure. It's a nice and a little dark.....can get a little noisy at times....probably the brews talking loud. I have been there two times in five days, so they have my humble approval. Till next time, a-river-der-chee. read more

Excellent service. Meals are great will certainly return. Highly recommend. Onion rings are the ever.

Their burgers are amazing! I love the black and blue burger. Their pimento cheese dip is excellent also.

This is your typical hole in the wall bar/restaurant. Limited seating, but a very comfortable feel. We came in on a Saturday evening only to find out that 25% of the menu was out. They were preparing for the next few days of being close for Halloween. That being said, our food took a while coming out, but when I did, it was tasty. I have the hamburger with granny apples. The meat was good although the bun was super cheap. Very flimsy. My husband ordered the chicken and granny apple quesadilla. That was very tasty. My daughter ordered The TAC. She liked it . It too was very tasty. This was our first time experiencing tipsy''z. You could tell it was a local favorite spot to hang out and watch multiple streams of football. We will probably be back. Hopefully during the time of the Apple stock though. read more

Me and several of my friends went to Tipsy'z today, and it didn't disappoint. We had a rather large group, so we sat outside. The servers were great, and one of them was new. You couldn't tell that. They took great care of our whole table. The food was delicious! I got the Blue Cheese Burger and the Brussel Sprouts. Both were absolutely delicious. I especially loved the Brussel Sprouts. A lot of our group got the TAC. I've never been here before, but I will definitely go again. The only thing that is maybe bad is the parking lot, but I just parked in the coffee shop parking lot. read more

Tipsy'z is always a good choice. They have a good selection on the menu. Anything from burgers, quesadillas, tacos, appetizers, veggie options, fries, tots and the list goes on. This is one place my wife and I can agree on because of the options. I've never had bad service here. It can be busy at times. Last night we went in around 8 and didn't have to wait at all. It can be loud at times but it's a small place and that's understandable. Everyone has always been friendly and the service great. They have removed my favorite burger from the menu, the Carolina burger, but I love the BBQ chicken quesadilla. Overall a great place to stop in for a bite. read more

Some of the best burgers in High Point. Never had a bad meal here. Beer has always been ice cold.

What a great time we had at Tipsy'z! The food and service was amazing. Best on the beach

Cool little hole in the wall dive bar. Music playing with nice social atmosphere. Service was good but not to social, but still no complaints, I think everyone was just busy. Prices for food were fair. I got the steak quesadilla which I have to say was just ok. Nothing special about it. My sister got the garlic wings and she said they were very good . I'd recommend this if you just want a drink or two and quick bite. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Overall good place. Kitchen also looked very clean as well (from where I was sitting I could see the whole kitchen). read more

If you are looking for a local bar & grill in High Point, look no further than Tipsy'z. As soon as you walk up to the outdoor seating area, you can tell that neighbors and friends frequently dine here. While they were understaffed, the waitresses and bartender were able to service both outside and inside without sacrificing quality. Now, the burgers were quite tasty. They weren't overly big as one would think based on the the "Stuffed" title, yet they had great flavor. I got the Stuffed Gouda Burger with tater tots. First, I love any restaurant that offers tater tots in addition to fries. Tots dont get enough love. And I was able to get all of that food for $13 which is a great price compared to other burger joints. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a burger and beer! read more

Everything our group ordered was pretty good and there was still a ton on the menu we want to try. I would definitely come back and try more. I love the seat yourself vibe, easy going staff and simply, yet delicious menu. We came in on a slow, stormy night so it wasn't crazy busy. We were able to sit and enjoy our company without the pressure to clear a table. The server even let me grab a coffee from next door and bring it over and told me they "support local". Can't wait to come back! read more

I just stumbled on this place because of a yelp review and I have been back four times bringing different friends each time. I will say everyone has loved it including my mother in law. My goal is to try most everything on their menu. I have not had a bad meal yet! Now you must know they are very small on the inside. They do have outdoor seating but not fun in the winter so my tip is to go early if the weather is not conducive to outdoor dining.
