The staff at this food kiosk were exceptionally friendly and happy to help. They turned out our food really quickly despite making it to order. The Cajun fries were great and the kids loved them a lot. This is a great addition to this food hall, with solid burgers and large serving sizes.

My wife and I found ourselves at the Stock and Grain Food Hall recently around dinner, and decided to try out a couple of different spots, we hadn't been to before. To started, we decided to share a smash burger from Smash and Sizzle. We'd heard good things about it, actually, I think from Erik. We placed our order at the counter, which was simple. The cashier was friendly, and gave us a "pager" to wait for our order number to come up. Which, despite, being busy on a Saturday night, they pump burger out of that space pretty rapidly! The menu is pretty limited, with just a few options, but we opted for their "Cash Smash", a double smash burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and burger sauce. It was very basic, but the smashed some serious flavor into the burger. It tasted great, and their burger sauce as top notch. I'll absolutely be back, and will try something different next time I visit. Highly recommend!

OMG!! The absolute BEST Turkey burger, I've ever tasted!! It was hot, fresh, juicy, seasoned to perfection, and big AF! I added grilled onions which made it even tastier! Everything about this burger was top notch!! Just buy it!! I can't speak to the taste of the fries because I purchased tater tots from another place. Service was good and pretty prompt!

YUM! Oh my God. Smash and Sizzle is a must try if wandering into Stock and Grain food hall. I ordered the Jack the Dripper and was not disappointed. It took quite a while for my order to be ready, but there was also a mishap where someone took my original order, so I cannot speak to the typical wait time for food. The taste however deserves major recognition. The burger was perfectly flavored, onions crispy and golden, sauce so yummy, and egg deliciously runny! My only complaint was that the bun was a little soggy by the time it made its way to my table. The workers were kind and very helpful, and the ordering process was super easy. After ordering at the register, they give you a buzzer so that you can continue exploring while your food is cooking. Definitely check this place out!

Classic smash, no LTO, add grilled onions. Truffle Fries.

Hooray for an excellent new smashburger place in High Point! Specifically, inside the Stock and Grain Assembly Food Hall, where they are doing a smashburger just right. Properly smashed patties with plenty of melty cheese, as loaded or unloaded as you want them. They also have a really good assortment of loaded fries, or plain fries with an excellent cajun seasoning. They play to add milkshakes in the future, but right now, burgers and fries are what they do! I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the fact this is a partnership between the food hall and Providence Restaurant and Catering, an enterprise of Second Harvest food bank of NC. This program trains the restaurant owners of tomorrow, giving them the experience needed to succeed! I love this. On my visit, I got their classic burger, but instead of LTO, I just got grilled onions and their burger sauce... because that is the way I love to test out a smashburger. Two patties, two slices of melty american cheese, grilled onions, burger sauce. Thing of beauty. I also got an order of their truffle fries, at the recommendation of the owner. Those that know me know how particular I am about my smashburgers. I can say with confidence, this is currently the best smashburger in High Point. Might be one of the best burgers period. They got nice crispy bits on the beef, just the right amount of cheese, the onions were grilled down but not mush, and the burger sauce balances it all out. The bun is fluffy and held everything without falling apart. A+++++ On to the fries. SO GOOD! Golden and crisp outside, almost like mashed potato inside. Love it. And... they give you a TON OF FRIES. If you have an air fryer at home, your next meal with thank you. I appreciate a place that doesn't let you leave hungry. Mine were the truffle fries, and sometimes I am hesitant to order those. Sometimes the truffle oil overpowers everything and isn't enjoyable. This had a wonderful balance of truffle flavor with a nice cream sauce lightly drizzled over the top. I would definitely reorder exactly this meal. Milkshakes coming in the future to round out what I think is already a darn good menu. I will be back for another burgy very soon!

The food was delicious!!! The wait wasn't too long. We got there during the start of a baseball game and expected a crowd, but that way the case. The food hall was busy and got busier after we ordered/received our food. The service was great! The Cajun fries were crisp and received hot. I want sure if there was any Cajun seasoning but you can taste it. When in the mood for a smash burger, this is a great option!

Ordered a specialty burger only to find out they were out of the main ingredient. Otherwise the burger and fries were great. It's a bit pricey for fast food, but very tasty and fresh.

Got the smash burger with burnt ends, muenster cheese, garlic aioli and BBQ bacon jam. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. It had great flavor and texture. The fries were good by themselves but better with the different options of dipping sauces. What makes this place better is that it is part of a food hall with a bar and places for dessert as well as providing a view of truist point stadium where they host soccer and baseball games. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you're looking for a fun evening out!

Forgive the bitten into burger...it looked and smelled delicious & I was starved. Needless to say, it was so good. I got a side of the truffle fries and they were decadent as well. The staff were kind and efficient and the vibe in the food hall was pleasant. Aside from the constant beeping of people's buzzers for their food. If they could just get those to vibrate instead of beep, it would've been a much more pleasant experience.

Truly a great smashburger- for a few extra bucks you can upgrade the fries to a basket- best burger I have had in a while, great beef, nice potato roll, and fresh toppings- the sauce was awesome- barn burner!!

I ordered the Daddy's Philly with a side of pesto pasta salad and banana pudding. The Phily was really good. It came loaded with cheese, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños and Garlic mayo on a soft bun that wasn't soggy or stale. I was a little surprised because, despite the jalapeños, I didn't find it spicy at all. I love garlic but I think I would prefer regular mayo to the garlic mayo. Compared to other cheesesteaks I've had, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Instead of fries, I chose the pesto pasta salad. The pasta itself had the perfect chewy texture, and I honestly wanted to keep eating it. Unfortunately, it was too salty for my palate. I could only manage a couple of bites, which was disappointing because the texture was amazing.....like how do you get your pasta to that texture, spill the beans! Haha For dessert, I tried the banana pudding. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite style. I personally prefer banana pudding that's light, fluffy, and silky. This one was much thicker and heavier than what I grew up eating, so it just wasn't my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, especially the Daddy's Philly. Of course, everyone's tastes are different, so these are simply my personal preferences. I'd still encourage you to give it a try and decide for yourself. Ciao for now!

I recently started seeing a lot adds on social media for their new smash burger tacos, so one weekend I was feeling lazy and needing some lunch I decided to go give it a try. There was a bit of line when we arrived, but the cashier kept the line moving quickly. I ordered (2) of the tacos, and some fries to go. Apparently, they had a promo going that weekend with their app, that you'd also get ANY size, free custard made to your liking. The order came out pretty quickly, didn't have to wait long at all. Got home, unpacked everything on a plate, and enjoyed my tasty lunch. The tacos were great, basically just a soft shell taco with a single smash burger in each, cheese, a little lettuce and fry sauce. Probably could add some other toppings, like tomatoes, but overall they were really good. Their fries are also great, but very thin, so you kind of need to grab a few at a time. There fry sauce those is what makes the fries even better. Must try! The custard was also great, i got one mixed with oreo, one of my favorites! The restaurant itself isn't too large, but decently clean. The interior is one large open space with a lot of hard surfaces though, so it can get noisy in there as it fills up. Overall, a tasty option from time to time. Would recommend if you like smash burgers though they do also have hot dogs, and the custard is delicious. Go check them out if you haven't already

It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.
