Came in for lunch today and wanted to try a burger and their Chicago Dog since I haven't seen a Chicago Dog on any menus in the area. First thing I noticed was how clean the place looked and the lady who greeted me was super friendly and attentive along the way. I ordered the Classic American Burger with extra cheese, no onions and the Chicago Dog Combo with crinkle fries and a Sweet Tea. The sweet tea is very sweet. The burger was delicious on a grilled bun, seasoned perfectly, and they use the good pickles. The only thing I didn't like about the burger was that the cheese was not melted. The Chicago Dog is really good and it's a grilled dog on a grilled bun with tomatoes, pickles, jalapeños, onions and mustard and sprinkled with celery salt on top. Yummy! The fries were good but needed to be cooked a little bit longer for my liking. Not very crispy. No seasoning added. Everything was made to order and came out hot. They have a large menu and I will be back to try more. I would recommend. read more

Quaint Mom & Pop burger spot. Very open with old school charm. We tried the classic with Cajun fries, Gyro with Cajun fries and the King. The King was very interesting. It wasn't gross but unique. You could taste the ingredients separately. I liked the PB and Banana with honey. Classic taste on a toasted bun. The glitzy was cook perfectly with slits to hold the sauce. It wasn't horrible. However the burger was flat. Definitely boxed mean with no seasoning. It was massive and cooked well/even. I loved their massive pickle chips. The Gyro was also precooked and tasteless, more like Steakums vs a shredded lamb. We were told the Cajun fries were curly but they were regular fries with seasoning. The fries were massive and thick. Unfortunately, over cooked due to sizing. Our waiter was cool. Laid back and chill. Spot gives dinner vibes. read more

I read lots of good reviews about this place. I happened to be in the shopping center and spotted it. I went with my Mom and daughter. We ordered takeout. The service was ok but the experience left me not wanting to come back. I paid for all the food. It took forever for the food to arrive. However we waited patiently. When it did come I was told that the additional side my daughter ordered wasn't on the ticket. I paid for it. After this the food came out without, the side I just paid for. I was told it would be 7 more minutes. We again waited forever, so the waitress went to check and she got fussed at by the cook. He said he was behind, he was the only cook in the kitchen! Then he said the side would take another 15 minutes. It was then I said, naw just give me my money back. I think the waitress got irritated and just pulled the money out of the register and handed it back to me. Ok so, about the actual taste of the food. Season less. It was like they opened up a can and of vegetables and placed them in the to go container and it was cold. I don't think they even heated it up.I was disappointed. Don't think I'll be back. read more

Good food. Good atmosphere. New management, and it seems to be a good move. I miss the hot chips, but the rest of the food was decent. Fries are obviously the frozen variety. read more

I adore this place. It reminds me of home, of Colorado fields and skies. It reminds me of the place my mother waitresses when I was growing up, and it took everything in me not to get up and serve my own coffee for nostalgia lol! Besides the nostalgia and homey atmosphere, the staff are all super friendly and love to talk (which makes my heart happy) and are always kind to my son. The food is really good, so many things to choose from. I LOVE their ranch, and chicken strips (though occasionally they end up a little over burnt, not often though) and their fries are heaven. Their coffee is good too, not bitter. One of my favorite places to lunch. read more

Great takeout! Burgers are very good! Love the fried jalapeños on the burgers & great fries! read more

The burgers are fantastic! There are so many interesting varieties to choose from. The most unique we've had was the King Burger, inspired by Elvis with bacon, peanut butter, and banana. It sounds super weird but it is tasty! They also have a meat and two option for a daily special. The chicken pie and the chicken casserole are both really good. The fried okra is a great side! Onion rings are also super good! read more

Used to come here all the time when I was in school, loved the options of burgers and toppings. And the homemade potato chips are legendary. Excellent burgers read more

We decided to eat here after a visit to the NC Zoo. It is about 10 minutes down the road and well worth it. They have delicious and reasonably priced hamburgers and hotdogs. I enjoyed the Ronald which is similar to a Big Mac. I had the chips but will get the fries next time. My son loved his hotdog and the banana pudding. I had the apple pie and.thought it was good. We also tried the fried okra and it was very good. read more

For what it is, they are doing it well here. There's lots of variety on the menu. The service was really friendly and the food was great. There's nothing fancy about it but that's sort of the draw to this place. A great place to eat after a full day of walking at the Zoo. read more

Not the worst, not the best. Sometimes it's a great burger, sometimes it's ok at best, just depends on the day and the staff.

The food was AMAZING!! Probably the BEST omelet I've ever eaten! I got the sausage and cheese omelet and added mushrooms and onions. The home fries are incredible and so is the gravy! The service was also so good!! It's not in a location I would think would offer such amazing food! read more

Atmosphere is a charming small town, mom and pop place. Definitely friendly staff and good service. The sweet tea is great I recommend the half and half, the perfect sweetness. Burgers are surprisingly thick and juicy for being cook all the way through. The fries are fresh cut and really good. A good local spot for lunch after a trip to the Zoo, only about 10 minutes away. Humble and good food. read more

Everything under the bun came recommended to me by some locals as a great place to get a burger. Located in an older shopping center and definitely don't look like much from the outside. Plenty of parking. Inside is old school restaurant all the way. Booth and table seating. They specialize in burgers and hot dogs here with their own ideas. Really a large menu. They also have some other sandwiches and salads. Service was fast and friendly. My drink glass never went dry. The place was clean. I had a hard time trying to decide which burger to get with so many choices and they all sounded great. Ultimately I had the Cobb burger. It was indeed delicious. The burger itself had a nice taste. It was cooked properly and I didn't have to tell them how to do it! The bun was toasted and tasted fresh. Nice bacon, lettuce, and a boiled egg! House made chips were cooked up nice and crisp. I can't wait to go back and try more of their creations. I would definitely recommend this place for a great burger and good service. read more

Good food, spacious area , we traveled to camp up in Asheboro.. we love finding small businesses to support. This is one place we loved. Good good, owners and employees are awesome . You need to stop by and try it. I had country style steak with gravy. My husband had a rueben it was all delicious. read more

I hear their milkshakes are awesome! I didn't get one... watching my figure. I did have a burger. Welp! It was aight. However for a place that I assume is all about the burgers, they should work on this. First they should season their meat with salt and pepper. Second they should ask people how they like their meat cooked (medium), and third, they shouldn't put so much mustard on the burger. Myself and 3 other colleagues shared the same sentiment about the mustard. The fries were okay. The lady only came back to check on us when I was putting the last bit of my burger in my mouth. Luckily everything was okay.... would have liked some ranch for my fries. Perhaps next time I'll stop in for a milkshake: Chocolate, Vanilla, or Strawberry read more

Always delicious food and very attentive customer service. Never disappointed when I eat there.

Delicious burger with crispy fried onions on it, hand- formed pattie, full of flavor. My husband got a Classic burger and a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut, and he said they were both great. As were the sweet potato fries that come with honey, delicious! read more

Good service, pretty good burger (for a flat griddle cooked patty), fresh toppings, and a gracious plenty of fantastic hand-cut fries. Service was prompt and friendly. *Update* Tried the hot dogs, really good flavor in the grilled hot dog itself, unlike most places that use plain red hot dogs. Best dogs in town! read more

Unbelievable!! The King burger is the best. Then I tried the Jam burger good too. Don't pass this place up. Visit the zoo than hit this place. read more

After taking awhile to decide where to go for lunch, my wife hesitantly suggested EUTB because some of her suggestions become disasters. I am so glad she suggested this restaurant, this Mom and Pop type family restaurant with a great atmosphere, and not to mention service, was not disappointing at all. The portions were generous and food was great. I definitely recommend EUTB. The only negative I would have, is that the burgers were not seasoned enough. read more

We're staying in uwharrie national forest so we decided to drive into Asheboro for lunch. Found this place on yelp. Service was great. Very nice staff. But the burgers....I got the cheddar jalapeño burger and my boyfriend got the firm alarm burger. The burgers definitely need more seasoning. All I could taste on my burger was the super salty bacon and the jalapeños. My boyfriend said his tasted really bland. The fries were...decent? It would have been good if it came out hot. read more

Built my own chicken sandwich and had collards as my side! Not too bad. They have a back room for guests but don't take reservations. Most of the people I was with took half of their food home with them. Great service! read more

This place is the epitome of southern hospitality! It is welcoming and casual. The food is great quality and fairly priced. We planned to get takeout (since we have young kids, it's often just easier that way), but they insisted we come in and make ourselves comfortable at the restaurant. We felt right at home. Their fried okra is always excellent. They have a good selection of burgers and hot dogs. Their pot roast is just like homemade, and their banana pudding is custardy, just like it should be. If you are looking for good southern food served with a smile, this is the place for you. read more

My girlfriend and I go all over Winston, Greensboro, high point and surrounding areas looking for great burgers... I can tell you this is the worst burger that we have eaten out of 20 plus places... Don't eat here if you aren't a regular. They will walk by and walk by even if you have an empty glass. I sat here with an empty glass for over 15 mins and when I'm thru eating a cold hot dog and about to leave they then want to ask me if i want something to drink. Got a Carolina dog, has velvetta cheese, and it's cold and not melted. Who wants cold cheese on your hot dog? read more

Everything Under the Bun does it right. Venture into the strip center's corner off Zoo Parkway and you will be richly rewarded. A great place to stop after a morning at the Zoo or, to grab a bite of dinner. We order a black bean burger, a classic burger and a black & blue burger all with the fresh made hot chips. Everything was cooked well and it looked like they really care about what they do in the kitchen. Food was served hot and fresh just like anyone would want. Our waitress was attentive and refilled our drinks without having to be asked. We'll be back. read more

...you know what, this place "Everything Under the Bun" is one of the places where you have to look and find. What do they say...it's a needle in a hay stack if you ain't from here. I love the sweet potatoe fries. I love the fried pickles, I love the hamburger with fried onions. I love the customer service and family like atmosphere. I wish that they have one of these in Fayetteville NC. I will be coming back for more. Thank you for all you do. read more

Everything tastes the same. Ordered mac&cheese and it tasted like it was out if a box. We won't go back

Burger was OK...maybe a 3 out of 5...after all this is supposed to be a burger place and it's got to be a really, really tasty burger to get to even a 4 much less a 5. Tastier meat and a better bun would at least moved it up to a 4. Fries were at best a 1 and maybe even a 0. Been a while since I ate here but I seem to remember better fries than what I got...they were greasy and limp, not crispy on the outside and tender on the inside as a good fry should be. I'm thinking that they switched to a lower quality potato not recommended for making a good French fry...they should check with Five Guys who don't mind showing you not only the variety of potato but the farm that grew it for that day. I mentioned the fries as I paid but the young lady could only say she didn't think they had changed potatoes and she was sorry. Service was decent...young wait staff...all looked high school age...polite enough at first greeting but that's about it...they did do a good job keeping the water glass filled and asking if everything was OK. I dined here between 5:30 and 6:00 on a Saturday afternoon...was surprised how many tables were vacant...probably only 25-33% were occupied and this during the height of Saturday dinner time. Maybe the fall off in food quality accounts for the lack of diners. Won't return until I hear that the quality of the food has gone up...especially the fries. read more

Small out the way place but well worth going to, I got a blue-cheese burger it was incredible great place to go.

I used to be a regular customer of this establishment, and since I haven't been in awhile I decided to come in last Friday with my sister. HUGE MISTAKE. We sat down and within a few minutes was greeted by a waitress who brought menus and took our drink order. As she was taking our meal orders, I noticed specials on the chalkboard behind the bar and asked our waitress if there was more cobbler, she told me there was plenty left so I ordered some. Shortly after taking our order our waitress noticed 2 tables of people she apparently knew and that is where 100% of her attention went. She only came to our table ONCE after a completely different waitress brought out our food. Once we began eating, my sister ran out of tea and placed her cup on the end of the table indicating she wanted a refill, her cup sat there over 20 minutes, waitresses walked by refilling cups, but not a single one even offered to refill hers. After I finished my meal, I waited for another 15 minutes hoping to see my cobbler arrive. It never came. My sister flagged down a waitress who said she would bring it, 30 more minutes pass and no cobbler. We flag down a different waitress and ask again for my cobbler, she said she would tell my waitress. Another 15 minutes pass and I am getting a little upset. Not one waitress who said they were checking or bringing my cobbler came back. A completely different waitress came by and we flag her down and ask about the cobbler. Her response "we haven't had cobbler since earlier today". SERIOUSLY?!?! 3 waitresses and an hour of wasted time to be told there's not any cobbler when I was told while ordering that it was available. . .not a single one of the other waitresses even checked. And on top of this, nobody had time to talk to me about this, or even offer an apology. And the icing on the cake, the girl at the cash register was RUDE, then I tell her my issue and she just looks and me and rolls her eyes. I WILL NEVER COME BACK, YOU LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!!! read more
