Me and my family recently stopped by for a late lunch after the zoo. This was the perfect spot to grab something to eat after walking around the zoo. We started with the spinach dip and everyone loved it. It came with these toasted bread bites that had a great seasoning and crunch to them. They kind of reminded me of an everything bagel but as a bread bite. This paired really nicely with the hot spinach dip. They also have a ton of coffee and tea options. I was a little bummed that did not have fountain sodas. My sister got a smoothie and really liked it. For my entree I got the Italian flatbread. It was a really nice combination of flavors with the sausage and peppers. I sampled my boyfriend's flatbread (pickled) and thought it was great as well! Brewskie's offerings are quite expansive, with a HUGE selection of flatbreads, wraps, quesadillas, sides, smoothies, coffees, teas, as well as, much to my confusion, cosmetic treatments such as facials, waxes, and massages. I really didn't know what to make of it all, and worried the food wouldn't be very good, since their focus seemed split in several directions. However, I tried several different things on the menu, and most of them did not disappoint. We split a Green Bacon Flatbread and Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, and I also got a side of mac and cheese and a strawberry smoothie. The flatbread was pretty good, although it did JUST taste like bacon. I ate it with ranch, which they do well. I suspect their other flatbreads (which they have a LOT of) are less one-note, but I'll never know, because I would just order this one again. The quesadilla was great, and the chicken was well-seasoned. They also season the outside of the tortilla, and I appreciated the extra kick of flavor. This came with sour cream and a salsa verde. The mac and cheese was mild, creamy, and chock full of pepper. Usually I like a sharper cheese flavor, but I enjoyed it. Smoothies were extremely cheap (under $5 for a 16 oz), but unfortunately we got what we paid for. They were wayyyy too sweet for our tastes, and not a lot of any fruit flavors came through. Absolutely LOVED this place! I actually got a recommendation to try it out while following Jen Hamilton on TikTok. She recommended it as a great spot near the Zoo so we finally checked it out after our trip to the zoo today. It's a cute little spot, feels cozy and welcoming inside. They have a coffee bar, craft beer, cocktails and a great selection of food. We came in for a late lunch and got the kids cheese flat bread, buffalo chicken quesadilla and bbq chicken flat bread. I loved the buffalo chicken quesadilla, great flavor and the tortilla was light and flaky. My husband got the bbq chicken flatbread and really liked it. We also got a coffee to go for the drive home, they have a great coffee menu! Their breakfast menu looked delicious so we plan to go before the Zoo next time. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Its small but open, menu was a good size and it seems like many locals enjoy coning here to hang out. A fun atmosphere , that sometimes has live music, with great food and coffee options. Parking was not a problem in the morning. Service was top notch. Went to Brewskie's a few days ago and it did not disappoint! I got a bacon flatbread and a Cajun quesadilla, both were delicious. The mac and cheese was very creamy and tasted great. The strawberry smoothie was a little underwhelming- very sweet- but a great deal for the price. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Great service, cool vibe, good menu options but a little pricy. Our waiter gave great service and was very personable. We liked him a lot. The food tasted good, the only suggestion would be to add some vegetables to the side option choices besides potatoes. Our bill for 2 people was $54.00 including the tip, 2 meals and water, my guest did have an iced coffee. $54.00 seems pricy for a week night food grab but I realize that could just be for me. Five stars for Brewskie's as it was my morning "office." I arrived just after then opened at 6 and was here until nearly noon. I had a comfortable seat in the corner with power and the wifi worked very well. The coffee shop did get quite busy but there is plenty of seating in the back including a "meeting room." I started off with a cortado and it was perfection. Prepared exactly right by a barista who was clearly proud of his skills. Delicious. Well for starters we all know I'm a sucker for supporting my small home town community, locals and businesses so Brewskie's was a definite for me ! I honestly can't believe I haven't reviewed this little jewel in the heart of downtown Asheboro as I do frequent here often. Perhaps I assumed everyone knew what a special place this was ?! Let's start with how clean and unique this little industrial style restaurant is. So cute and I love that they took something that was a bit run down and disheveled, and turned it into something so unique simple and modern! There is indoor and outdoor seating which I loved and everything is clearly marked and labeled easy to locate (restrooms and such ). The menu looks exactly like what I like to see it's in no way overwhelming . There are plenty of items to choose from without being so much it becomes overwhelming to choose. They have a great selection of specialty coffees and teas. The food is ahhmazing never had anything here I didn't enjoy but I have to say their flatbread pizzas are to die for ! I had the white chocolate frappe with coffee base and I have to admit as much as I may enjoy a Starbucks drink from time to time this is my go to place for my coffee drink it is without a doubt the best I've ever had ! I also had a pice of grilled chicken with shredded cheese and a few slices of tomatoes and for a girl who's just not into you typical breakfast this was a dream come true !! The chicken was cooked perfect . Now about Bret our waiter... Lord yall he was the absolute most attentive and best little waiter we could have asked for. He listened and made wonder suggestions. He never let our water go empty and was always popping in to make sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything else. A pleasant surprise in a town with not many non-chain options available. The food was flavorful (albeit largely due to salt) and the staff was friendly. To be fair, I had a Southwestern wrap and my husband had a Cajun quesadilla. They were essentially the same sandwich, but one was rolled. (same seasonings, etc). I walked in and told them I wanted a coffee similar to a popular coffee store's White Chocolate Mocha. They said they could do that but it would be even better with cinnamon bun added. Okay. OMG..... The food here is good. The service is good. The ambiance is good. My only complaint is that the chairs inside are too small for my regular American bottom. Amazing spot if you're in the Asheboro area. Me and my girlfriend stopped here after the gym to grab a bite to eat and was shocked by how amazing the experience was. The aesthetic of the place is pretty cool. Very clean interior and exterior and the service was perfect. Our waitress Emily was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of during our whole time. We ordered the spinach dip for an appetizer and it was seasoned very well and was not overpowered by the cheese ; there was a nice spinach flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken flatbread and my girl ordered the southwest flatbread -- both were perfect. The food was HOT and flavorful! We also ordered two ice coffees, one being a cold brew , and again, it was amazing. Try out their house made ranch for your flatbread (we did on the side for dipping) and you won't regret it! My girlfriend doesn't even like the taste of most ice coffees but she finished this one and even contemplated another but was too full to. Overall this spot was a 10/10. First, the location is great. Close to downtown. Plenty of parking. When we walked in, the server was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of seating. We ordered the loaded home fries. They were good, but they were supposed to come topped with gravy, eggs, cheese, and bacon. Ours didn't have the eggs or the gravy. We ordered a cinnamon bun latte and a cortado. The cortado was very milky and closer to a flat white. The latte was good. It had a sweet cinnamon flavor and tasted great. The biggest issue was our food came out before our coffee. We waited on our coffee for 25 minutes. It should not have taken that long. Our server kept coming by to assure us the coffee would be out soon. All in all, the service was good and the food was just okay. If we lived closer, we would give them another shot. The food at the tables near us looked really yummy. read more

Well, they have no idea how to make good coffee, don't have good beans, and their staff leaves a lot to be desired. (Think mean girls, one of my favorite movies god Rachel McAdams is a gem) My go to coffee is a large latte with an extra shot. The first time I got just a plain large latte to try it out. It was a big cup of milk. And that's cool, not everyone wants to burn out their adrenal glands but it's way too late for me on that tip. So I get my traditional order, which is basically six shots. At upscale, craft coffee roasters that are considered on the pricy side- this drink is anywhere from 6-7.50. Adding a shot to my large latte brought the total to over nine dollars- and we are talking absolute garbage coffee. Nothing special about it whatsoever. The girl who was making it was super rude, but I just thought maybe she was having a bad day. Nope. Tried it again and that's just the way they are. Always interesting that a staff reflects the owner. I never got into politics with them and was there after the mask mandate was lifted, so that's not my beef- but I also didn't like to hear that they were political and weird and didn't return after I found out they were basically infusing my coffee with shitty beliefs. My mask collection is epic, and it's effortless. Literally effortless. The attitude of some people who act like it's such a huge inconvenience to them is hilarious to me. Some people have real problems. So after hearing that, and multiple people telling me the owner even told them they didn't need to wear masks at the height of the pandemic- uhhhhhhhh....... no. Get two stars only because outdoor seating is a plus for my dogs, but doesn't matter since I will never go back. read more

I love Brewskie's. It's simple. The majority of the staff are wonderful! We've had an occasional grumpy server, but they usually don't stay long. The coffee is good. The flatbread can be made gluten free by getting a cauliflower crust. Their tea is so good. I'm currently in love with the pickled flatbread. But I think I've had just about every flatbread they offer and you really can't go wrong. Get the ranch. If you like a little spice you'll love the brewskie's ranch. The bathrooms are clean. The tables are a little wobbly. The decor is awesome. Friday nights have local music. Comfortable and spacious inside. Patio is great when the weather is nice. It's like eating at a friend's house but you just have to pay for the food (which by the way is totally worth it and very fairly priced). The only thing I don't like is when they're so packed we can't get in the door or when they're closed. If you live in Asheboro you should definitely be coming by here regularly. This is definitely a hidden gem in Asheboro, NC! The outdoor space is very nice with fans and ample spacing for social distancing! The food is really good and the variety of coffees, teas, and brews are fantastic! Great place to unwind after work with some friends or loved ones! They love dogs too! We brought both of our and they gave them a treat each (little doggachinos (whipped cream in a small cup)! Very sweet of them! Great food, great drinks, great vibes! So happy to have found this local coffee shop easily located off US 74/220 en route to the beach. I've been here multiple times over the summer. They have a great chai tea - not to spicy - and the food that I've had (muffins, scones) were excellent. Other food items look great but I'm usually traveling when I stop here. There are many tables to sit inside or outside, with windows letting in the light, and parking is plentiful and easy to access. The only negative I've observed is that some of the baristas aren't very cheerful or personable, as one usually expects at coffee shops. read more
