Cute coffee shop right off the exit heading back to from charlotte. We stopped by and were amazed to see all the coffee options even the big list of sf options for syrup flavors. I also loved that they had protein powder to add to your coffee which is great for those who are on the go but also want their protein and coffee at the same time! Staff was very friendly and helpful even when having a semi difficult coffee order haha. The inside is very cute and nice to sit and relax to eat some yummy pastries. I also saw they have charcuterie board which sounds amazing to try with their flight of coffees. Definitely will visit when traveling again that way. read more

The Blend is the oldest continuously running coffee shop in Thomasville. With consistently friendly staff, a nice quiet atmosphere, fair pricing, and good coffee, you can't go wrong. Bonus points, they are one of the few places in town to get coffee after 6 PM, which is very nice for this night shifter. They have recently started carrying Red donuts as an addition to some of their other offerings like pastries and bagels. I haven't tried it, but they also offer charcuterie board options, though I think those are just for custom order. You really can't go wrong here, just come get some good coffee already! read more

I always look up local coffee shops when I'm traveling and this one was right off the highway on my trip back home so I stopped in for a pick me up. The staff were friendly and the shop was clean. They have several syrups to choose from which I love having options b/c I like to mix syrups. I ended up ordering a brown sugar cinnamon iced latte w/oat milk and it was perfect! Second time coming here and would definitely come back, especially for the macarons! I've tried several macarons across the board at various coffee shops/bakeries and these are by far the best! I loved the flavor and texture! It was just right! The salted caramel was amazing and only $1. There is a whole wall full of choices when it comes to drinks and it's not just coffee. They also have smoothies and tea. I've tried their blended coffee in the past and their elderberry lemonade today. Both were excellent. My favorite part is the decorations though. This has always been my favorite coffee shop (when the right baristas make my drink). I love this place even though I work at a different coffee shop but only when certain people make my drink. It's kind of hit or miss depending on who is working but I will say their Christmas cookie and Christmas tree cake lattes are probably the best thing I've ever tasted. This coffee shop was nice, the employees are always kind and helpful. I found it hard to pick something from the menu and they helped a lot. However every coffee I've gotten for me at least was wayyyy too sweet and I def wouldn't call myself a coffee lover so I'm not always big on the overly strong coffee taste. But I can't ever finish my drink bc it's so sweet. But it was still good and I'll remember for next time to ask them to do less pumps of the syrups than how it normally comes. They have sooooo many different syrups and flavor combinations to choose from. I got a cappuccino and it was so yummy. The drinks were made quickly and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All the baristas are kind and helpful. Great experience going since they opened! First known as Romans 8 & now known as "The Blend" Always a calm environment and good music. An eatery and a coffee house. I spent my visit on the coffee side. I liked all the choices available personally. I had a hard time deciding which to choose. The Victoria was ultimately what I went with and it was perfect. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking when ordering. Coffee was good flavor, mixed well and super smooth. Visited The Blend for lunch on a weekday. This venue is divided into two parts. One side is a coffee shop that sells pastries from a local bakery and the other side is a southwestern eatery (think Moes). Collectively my small group had several issues. First, we could only order tacos or the "bowl" because the grill was covered with chicken being cooked en masse. It would be a 20 minute wait for anything else. We let the employee know it was our first time visiting but we're not given any suggestions, options or a cup to drink out of. Beef was an upcharge. Sour cream was an upcharge. After checking out, one in our party realized she could have had shrimp but never saw it listed. There was no ice in the soda machine and we were informed our drinks would be cold coming out of the machine. All except mine- I ordered sweet tea. The tea dispensers were leaking and a towel was placed beneath the spouts to catch run-off. However they were completely saturated and started to leak over the edge onto the floor. Did I mention that there were only four customers there including my group? Definitely some things could have been handled better. The other half of the business is a coffee shop. We went there after our tacos to have dessert. There were two mini cheesecakes available and three of us. No other desserts were available to us. Not sure why why couldn't buy one of the cupcakes in the plastic containers behind the counter. $4 for a mini cheesecake that was the size of a standard muffin seemed overpriced. And after listening to several youth dropping the f-word repeatedly and then one shouting "she worked there and would not be silenced", it was time to go. I had some down time while traveling through the area, and I decided to find a coffee shop to sit and read my Bible for a while. This was one of the first to pop up on the Yelp search, and I really liked the name of the place so I decided to check it out. The coffee was OK. Regular drip coffee that had decent flavor, but would have been much better in french press or pour over form. I did notice a pour over sitting on the counter top, but the barista said that they had not started offering that option yet. Maybe next time. I visited Romans 8 for the first time this morning before work. I'm a frappe addict so I thought I would try theirs. I ordered a caramel frappe and took my first sit as I was walking into work and it was so thick with chunks of ice I couldn't even drink it. So I called their shop and told them about it and the girl who made it and answered the phone was very kind and told me I could come get another one and if she wasn't there should tell the next shift people about it so it wouldn't be a problem. I went back just now on my lunch break and told the 2 young men working what happened and they were also very kind and made me another one. This time it was watery.. more like an iced coffee. The flavor was wonderful, but again, not the right consistency of a frappe. I understand this is a new business and has some quirks to work out, which is the sole reason I'm writing this review so that it can be reviewed and resolved. Beautiful shop, lots of dietary options which is also great. I will definitely visit again read more
