It may also help if the employees focused on one order at a time as I purchased 4 items and had to visit the counter three different times playing hopscotch with other customers. My…read moreunderstanding is that there are 12 locations now, and that all are company spots - in fact, the company has very directly said that they are not currently offering franchise opportunities. The12 spots stretch from Jacksonville NC in the east to Hendersonville in the west! And there appear to be plans to expand into Greensboro, and perhaps Burlington. I like that these are company run operations, it can make quality controls matters easier to administer and monitor. Perhaps the biggest contributor to inconsistent quality at fast food chains is the quality control mandates are not vigorously enforced. The only major chain that I'm aware of that does insist standards be met is Jersey Mike's, and they have even suspended franchisee agreements of non- compliant stores. This is a very nice location, bright and shiny with easy access to drive thru or parking. I ordered two hot dogs, one with mustard and sauerkraut and one with mustard, chili, and onions. I don't order the combo here because I don't care for the FF. As usual the hot dogs were excellent, and I am becoming quite fond of the sauerkraut dog - the kraut has a nice bite to it. All in all this was a very good spot, perhaps the best Dairi-o I've visited.

They don't let you get your own samples (the person behind the counter will come out and get it for you), which some people might not like, but I appreciate because it is more sanitary. I've been in order Ice Cream Parlors that serve Hershey's Ice Cream before and was aware of the many flavors they have to offer, but here besides the 64 flavors, they seem to have a variety of ways to have your ice cream, as well as other items such as smoothies and frozen lemonade, just to name a few. And to motivate you to explore the different ways of having your ice cream, they have pictures on the wall showing them. Even though the place was small with very few tables and chairs, it was already decorated for the Fall with colored leaves all over and small pumpkins on the table, creating a festive ambiance in which to enjoy some good ice cream. A young lady greated me with a smile and gave me a warm welcome. Since I was in the area to attend a Dinner Party that evening, I didn't want to get anything large; just a medium size cup of a nice flavor ice cream. The employee was so nice and helpful that when I asked her about a flavor besides explaining it she offered to give me a try on a tiny spoon. I tried the flavor Road Runner Raspberry and I instantly loved it. And the non dairy banana pudding was also good with bits of vanilla wafers throughout. While I was there, I got to taste the biscoff and it is next on my list try. Though they're not my favorite type of fries, these were well cooked, soft on the inside without being mealy like most crinkles are; while having a nice crispy exterior. If I have to have crinkle cut fries, I'd prefer Dairi-O's. I also tried their tzatziki sauce because I love that as a dipping sauce for fries and it was pretty spot on. At first, when I saw it on the menu, my thought was, "what does a burger joint really know about tzatziki sauce?" Turns out, a lot. It was creamy, tangy, with just the right amount of fresh cucumber and dill. Over all, as far as I'm concerned, it's a solid fast food choice that feels less like fast food and more like eating a perfect burger from your backyard grill. So many places throw on one or two extra and call it a day, but this was a legit pickle situation. The crinkle-cut fries were seasoned and really good, the milkshake was decent, and the burger was solid overall. Nothing fancy, just classic fast-food comfort done well. For two double combos and a chocolate shake, it was $29 and some change, which felt pretty reasonable. I'd definitely grab it again if I'm in that area. Perfect post-disc golf fuel.
