They were kind enough but more than half the menu was unavailable. The frozen yogurt was ok but the waffle cones had holes in the bottoms and the paper con wrappers also had holes so it was impossible to eat the yogurt quickly enough without it dripping all over the place. Stood in line for over 60 minutes under the blazing sun -- no shade, no misting fans, not even a warning flare. Then, just as I get close to the window... "Sorry, our ice machine just broke." Ma'am. Sir. ONE ice machine? In the peak of summer? With this kind of traffic? Y'all need at least two, maybe even three. This place is too popular to be operating like a home kitchen with one blender on life support. They need to treat this like a concert venue, not a lemonade stand. They describe it as "adult cookies and cream" because they're taking the favorite and adding coffee. That combo just hits. Thick veins of oreo goodness combined with rich coffee ice cream, the signature texture and pull of homemade ice cream... it all just sets off a symphony in your mouth. It's to the point that I basically cannot visit Oak Ridge without stopping in. It's a great place to bring the family, or to take your date. My wife and I love it as a post-meal finisher. After all, ice cream is the masonry that fills in the cracks of dinner.
