Love this little spot! We've passed it so many times, idk what took us so long to go. It's a great location for when you spend some time at Tanglewood with the kids and need a treat to cool off. We got the mini strawberry flavor and it was the perfect size for only $2! The flavor also wasn't super artificial or sweet. The ice is so finely shredded which I really liked. There's also a TON of flavors to choose from including a variety of toppings. The outdoor area has some places to sit and games to play too. We will definitely be back soon! read more

Since the ownership change this place has gone downhill big time. I do not feel welcome here anymore. I don't feel like I can bring my grandchildren here anymore. the product is not the same at all. The taste and overall atmosphere is not the same. I'm so disappointed in this place. I gave the new ownership many chances too but the last straw was having the window slammed in my face when I asked a simple question over what I was being charged. just disappointed in how the new owners are running this place as Cindy was amazing and this place used to be amazing and is isn't anymore. My boyfriend and I tried to come get a snowcone at 8:03, there were people waiting on/ordering theirs, and as we were walking up, we were met outside by a worker who came outside and yelled "we closed 8!" That is fine, but the way it was delivered was not the nicest. And every site- website and yelp, both say that the establishment closes at 9. Had we known it closed at 8, allegedly, we would not have made the drive all the way out there. Now that they are under new owners it is NOT GOOD at all! The snow cones do not taste the same at all and come out like soup and nasty! The service is horrible. The older short haired lady has an attitude all because I asked a question. All I can say is so much for their promise of "Nothing is going to change" They cannot even get the product right...!!! I love this little snow cone place! This is not an ordinary snow cone. You know those hard pebbles of ice served with a super sweet sugary syrup in a cardboard cone? This is not even close to anything like that! This is soft, fluffy SNOW served heaping in every imaginable flavor you can think of in a cup. It is SO good! The texture is perfect and because it's so fluffy soft, the flavor stays distributed to the very last bite. Cindy's can turn a regular snow cone into a creamy delicious treat by adding SnowCream to any flavor. She can even STUFF your snow cone with ice cream if that's your desire and top it with gummy worms, chocolate sauce and whipped cream! The service is super friendly too! I always spend way too long trying to decide what flavor I want and I never feel rushed. I plan to go frequently and make my way through the different flavors all summer long. We have passed by this place several times and not stopped because of the line. We drove by Friday night and there wasn't a line, so we stopped. My girls had the butterfly kiss and the snazzy turtle. They had little gummies in them so they were a big hit with my 4&6 year old! My husband said the grape was good. I had the creamsicle and it was delicious! A small size was plenty big for me and my girls, while my husband ordered a large. I think the total was $11.50. Definitely worth stopping by for a cool treat. Let's talk about this glorious little place on the side of the road. I recently had a surgery where I am very limited on what I could consume after. Ice was one of the non-restrictive items and sugar free flavors. I searched Yelp for days looking for snow cones. Bless the woman on Facebook who posted about Cindy's because I have been there three times in 4 days now and I bring more people with me every time. There are so many dang flavors and I can't ever pick which one I want the most (which means I just have to go back) but I have not been disappointed yet. So many flavors! I've been here several times already, and I try to get something new every time. No matter what flavor I choose, I am never disappointed. The flavoring is very evenly spread throughout the 'snow' so you get a good amount of flavor in every bite. They also offer snow cream, which I can only assume is a mixture of the snow and ice cream. It's amazing! The texture is creamier than the regular snow, so it pairs well with flavors that are sweet. Go try them out now! A small snow cone is only 2 dollars. Greg Alan 17 minutes ago Product is fantastic. But that does not excuse you or your employees being rude and stingy even after we pay good money for great "ice" essentially. When they first got to the location the employees were very sweet and extra nice and accommodating. As they have grown and more people come, we noticed some of their employees are actually suprising being rude and demeaning. For example, tonight Sept 7th, my wife and kids bought two super size (over $12). They kindly asked for some extra cups and my little 12 year old was excited they were going to share and she said so. The guy employee look at my wife and made a demeaning comment to my wife and kids in front of a big line behind them. The younger employee girl was like, "oh no what should we do". It embarrassed them and he rudly said, "we'll that will be 50 cents more each if we give you extra cups". My recommendation is that the owner not be so stingy for one if this is because of a trickle down policy from you and retrain/maintain sweet and accommodating employees no matter how big or busy you get (like you did when you first appeared at this location). I had a less rude experience on some minor thing too myself a couple weeks ago (and just blew it off). But now, I am speaking up and making you aware with this review. I hope you make some course corrections/changes. My wife now is hesitant to even come back or just go very rarely (and that really upset me as we drive by your place from Tanglewood a lot). Or, we can just get much less expensive glorified "ice" somewhere else. Treating people like you did before your growth and not being stingy will serve you long-term much better. read more

The first time we were there everything was excellent. The second time the air freshener or whatever they use to clean permeated the ice and spoon so it tasted like flavored cleaner. My daughter kept saying hers tasted like nail polish. May try again but not sure. read more

Amazing! Snoballs are just about my favorite treat ever, and this place is a hidden gem. Thank goodness I have friends who live near Clemmons or I might never have known this was here. This is not your average "shaved ice" place. It is full on soft, fluffy "snow" and the snow cream is perfection. There are so many flavors it's probably a good thing I live 30 minutes away or I would be there every day to keep trying them. Love the list of favorites (especially for my indecisive kids who never know exactly what they want). Butterfly Kisses is my fav so far. But I'm partial to the melt-your-cheeks-sweet stuff. read more
