I needed a good place to study while eating some delicious food and drinking coffee and found The Factory. I ordered the serendipity and the funky monkey, I'm currently eating it as I write this review and I'm in tastebuds heaven. Do yourself a favor and come try this. The waffle is crispy but soft and the coffee is just a great, smooth frappe treat!! The staff are so friendly, the place is cutely decorated and they play uplifting Christian. I would love to come back with friends, especially on delay-days which we will be having soon I imagine, but to avoid smelling like their place all day, I will have to pass. Service was great and everyone was sweet. I believe the owner was there and she was very helpful and nice to talk to as well. The kindness and the skill that the employees here brought to their jobs is worth both notice and appreciation. The quality of the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is like a family reunion. I've found in the past that the drinks have been hit or miss and seemed inconsistent but over the last few weeks I've had consistently good drinks. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

I tried the GG Latte and the Salted Trails Latte, both iced. The espresso wasn't overpowering, which I really appreciated, and that buttercream cold foam was thick, creamy, and delicious! The GG Latte was my favorite of the two, but next time I'm definitely adding that buttercream cold foam to my drink. The owner was incredibly sweet and friendly, and we had a great conversation while she prepared my drinks. She even offered to warm up my coffee cake, which was such a thoughtful little touch. It's those small details that really make an experience stand out. I also loved seeing the family support! Her brother was outside flipping the sign and helping bring attention to the shop. I love seeing a new local business being supported like that. Grace & Grounds is a little farther out than where I normally stop for coffee, but I can definitely see myself coming back--especially after a run near Lake Brandt or when I have Junior with me.
