I stopped by after they had been open for about two weeks and was impressed by the sheer number of offerings: breads, cookies, cupcakes, pastries, cheesecakes, quiches, coffee, tea, and more. The employee on duty was patient and helpfully explained a few baked goods I hadn't encountered before (Kouign-amann will have to happen during a future visit). I ultimately settled on a peanut butter-banana coffee cake and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was buttery but dense rather than light and flaky. That density extended to the coffee cake as well, where it was more welcome. The peanut butter-banana combo made for a winning pair, and the topping was tasty as well. Given the pricing, service, availability (open every day except Sunday), and more, Rocca's is a must for anyone in Greensboro with a sweet tooth.

I opted to grab a variety to include a cream pie, a pecan bar, a death by chocolate brownie, and a lemon bar. Every single pastry was delicious! I'm a self proclaimed chocoholic, so I was surprised to find my favorites ended up being the pecan bar and the lemon bar. Don't get me wrong the brownie was amazing too! I love that Rocca's is not only a bakery, but they are also a coffee shop that sells ice cream. On Saturdays they sell freshly baked bread too! I can't wait to come back to grab some of their bread this weekend and of course more pastries! Highly recommend this new bakery.

Recently they came out with their March specials including this irish cold brew as well as a cool fun lucky charms drink! The inside of this coffee spot is what really draws me in the most perfect place to relax and enjoy the plants inside as well as the sunshine coming in from the windows! The staff here are all so welcoming and eager to help you choose the best drink in terms of what your tastebuds like! I recommend coming and spending time inside to drink ur coffee and eat a snack such as the pastries as well!

It was nice to have plenty of room for her and her walker to navigate. She had a drip coffee and danish and I had a matcha. It was disappointing to drink from paper cups however, when we clearly were dining in. I spent $22 which is a bit pricey honestly for our order. Not a complaint, as of course I saw the prices before I ordered, but just full disclosure. Maybe consider adding some proper cups for those folks, would add a lot to the experience and help justify the cost. It was interesting to see that one half of the large space is seemingly available for rentals, so I will file that away. Clean restrooms and friendly service. Convenient for downtown shopping.

I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.

The eggs were green and rotten. The cucumbers were cracking and dry tasted like they have been cut up for a week. The hamburger steak was so dry it tasted reheated in a microwave. Even the bread and taco shells were so hard they had to be out of date or sitting on a counter open All week. It is hard to mess up a half gallon of tea and it may have been good when it was put in the bottle but that had to be a week or two ago. In all reality this food may have tasted fine (last week). Then I give them a chance to fix it. I go back to the location and the door is locked they close at 8 and it's 5 after. We'll I finally get someone on the phone and Miranda is kind and assures me they will take care of it. Well then I here the cook in the background hollering that we are closed and he can't make the replacements I requested which is horrible customer service. At the time we hadn't tried any of the other food but noticed the obvious. We spent a lot of money on 5 meals plus tip and get offered to remake a salad which was our original complaint because we could see molded eggs on it. After telling them we threw out everything except the spaghetti for my daughter they must have thought I was kidding but I'm not and have pictures to prove it. Let's just say next time I will stick to Kidd's dinner for diner since they had to save the day.
