Beautiful coffee shop with two levels in old mill that overlooks a ballroom. Cute little hassocks that appear handmade from coffee sacks! Wonderful deck outside overlooking Saxapahaw with lots of seating. Oh, am I forgetting something? Yes, the coffee - amazing!! Each cup made to order, so it takes a little bit, but well worth the wait. We tried the carrot cake and it was delicious, especially since it wasn't overloaded with frosting. Wish I lived closer - I'd be a regular!

Large hot sugar free caramel latte with oat milk.

I stumbled upon this gem of a stop yesterday driving thru saxapahaw to go see a friend. I stopped in the general store and decided to go back today to get coffee here. I had such a nice conversation with the friendly barista graham. The venue/ location is stunning. I ordered a large hot sugar free caramel latte with oat milk and it was top notch. I will definitely be back and have already told my husband, sisters and mom I want to take them all. It was a great way to start the day on a positive happy note.

Hard to review really when its only the second day of opening, but this place looks really cool. It has a small coffee bar with espresso capabilities (of which I partook and thoroughly enjoyed). It sits above the Haw River Ballroom. You can see the stage and dance floor pretty well from the tables in the cafe and there is outside seating overlooking the Haw River, similar to the pub upstairs. Didn't see a section with pastries, etc. however they had a basic espresso menu and really good coffee (local from Joe Van Gogh's) and are in a really cool spot.

Chocolate Frappe and strawberry donut. Delish!

Lots of seating, inside and out, with a nice atmosphere to match the ballroom and downtown area. Music played is really good taste.

Had black coffee, and it was just ok, nothing special. Maybe they do better with specialty drinks?

The casual but polished ambiance fits perfectly into the charming, throwback small-town feel of downtown Graham.. which feels like something out of an earlier era with its historic courthouse, independent movie theater, and locally-owned boutiques and casual restaurants. The menu offers a wide variety of made-to-order savory and sweet crepes, as well as several toasts and waffle dishes. On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. I really enjoyed the soy maple pecan latte.

The options somehow felt both limited and all over the place at the same time. Not many frappes, and nothing that made me think, I have to try that. So I asked the barista what he'd recommend. He pointed one out and was friendly enough, but he also seemed mildly irritated that I was a first timer ordering in the drive thru, like I was somehow holding up the line...except there wasn't a single car behind me. I also grabbed one of their pastries. He took my card, asked if I wanted it heated up, I said, "Yes, please," and then disappeared to, I assumed, make my drink. Then I waited. And waited. Ten minutes later I'm literally trying to peek through the drive thru window because...WTF? I ordered an iced coffee and a pre-made pastry. There were two baristas casually walking around, nobody inside except people already drinking their coffee, and the place wasn't busy at all. Finally, another barista came to the window with my drink and said they were "just waiting on the pastry." At this point I'm thinking...are they back there milling the flour and rolling the dough themselves? Five more minutes go by. She finally hands me the pastry...still in the container from whatever bakery actually made it. And it's cold. So basically all they had to do was grab it off a shelf and hand it to me. By the time I drove away, most of the ice in my coffee had already melted. Even watered down, though, it was just...bland. The coffee itself wasn't robust at all, and I couldn't really taste the coconut flavor that was supposed to be the specialty of the drink. The bearded guy who took my order never came back, either. Maybe he got pulled away, maybe he didn't, but it honestly felt like he just couldn't be bothered finishing my order. The whole experience was just disappointing. The flavors, the customer service, and a 15-minute wait for an iced coffee and a grab-and-go pastry when the place wasn't even busy? Hard pass. I drive all the way from Gibsonville to Mebane now just to get coffee from The Habit, and it's worth every extra minute. Better atmosphere, friendlier service, and honestly...just way better coffee.

It was nice to have plenty of room for her and her walker to navigate. She had a drip coffee and danish and I had a matcha. It was disappointing to drink from paper cups however, when we clearly were dining in. I spent $22 which is a bit pricey honestly for our order. Not a complaint, as of course I saw the prices before I ordered, but just full disclosure. Maybe consider adding some proper cups for those folks, would add a lot to the experience and help justify the cost. It was interesting to see that one half of the large space is seemingly available for rentals, so I will file that away. Clean restrooms and friendly service. Convenient for downtown shopping.
