    Salted Maple Latte

    | Overview + Inviting ambiance + Nice outdoor area + Friendly customer service - Overpriced coffee - Lack of sweetness - Environmental-friendly cup looks like a joke - Front door needs to be fixed - Limited Parking space in gravel lot | Review Got a large iced latte with maple syrup + oat milk (+0.75) for my girl; price: $7.79. Paper cup looks cheap for pricey, mediocre coffee. Straw doesn't seem to be compatible with the container as it was hard to sip the coffee with it. My girl asked barrista to not make it just slightly sweet but ended up having no sweetness at all. Lanza's Cafe has a homely vibe with cozy atmosphere inside and nice outdoor sitting outside. Had a bit of trouble finding parking space and gravel lot is not ideal. There were many UNC students hanging out, with their laptops when we arrived. There's a vibrant, local vibe inside. When my girl opened the cafe's front door, it slammed hard when it closed, bothering some people enterung behind her. She apologized to them but it's the door's fault - That needs fixing, for sure. Despite its wonderful indoor and outdoor ambiance, Lanza's failed to deliver quality coffee. Compared to Common Grounds Coffee in downtown Apex, this cafe in downtown Carrboro is a major letdown. | Overall Score: 1.6/5

My girlfriend brought me to this cafe and honestly, I wish California had more places like this. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and I love the inside space. Decent amount of seating inside for a good study session. There is this little space right before you enter that offers this greenhouse vibe. Wonderful spot to study. The outside also offers a lot of seats. The drinks too came out quick, but nothing too fancy!

I came here to study with a friend and it was quite crowded. But there were seats available. I got the quiche which was a bit pricey for what a got. Nothing special but a good study snack.

Really cute and vibey coffee shop. They looked to have great food options (including vegan cheese!) but I only opted for an americano to drink. The americano is delicious. Wish I had time to stay a while - they had a musician setting up, tons of seats, walls covered in art, and cute items available to purchase! I love art and trinkets so this place definitely spoke to me. Service was quick and I will remember this spot next time back in town!

Love Lanza's and will keep coming back. Great tea and wine selection available, reasonable prices and always a vibe inside. Almost always fills up, but there is plenty of seating inside & out. Always a warm welcome here!

What a neat little cafe! I love the mismatched furniture and mugs. The staff was very friendly and drinks came out quickly. There was also a case stocked full of delicious-looking pastries. I sat on the screened in patio which was filled with plants and enjoyed a nice day outdoors. A perfect place for studying or hanging out with a friend. The coffee was very good and I will definitely come back!

I really like this place! The coffee and pastries are really good, and the space is large and cozy. There's plenty of seating inside, as well as in a sort of in-between-outside-and-inside space with comfy couches. Last time I came here, I got a muffin and a cappuccino, both of which were really excellent. Prices are as high as any other coffee shop in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area, but considering that this place actually has plentiful parking and that the vibes are great, I'm more accepting of the expense. Highly recommend!

While strolling around the farmers market with some friends, we came across Kona Chameleon. We were all thirsty and this was one of the few places that didn't have a line. I'm not sure why, since who doesn't like a good cup of coffee on a lazy, weekend morning? We all tried something different, or as different as you can get with a food truck which has limited choices by virtue of what it is. The regular coffee was brewed perfectly with just the right level of smoothness. It was just as good on the last swallow as it was the first. One of my friends tried the german chocolate coffee and as I sampled that, I was glad I stayed with the plain. While it was okay, the coconut flavoring gave it a chemical taste that just didn't work for me. Perhaps the pumpkin spice would be better. If the name of this coffee truck doesn't remind you of something, then for the sake of your own sanity, ignore the first 24 or 25 letters of Christina's review lest you spend the rest of your day either dusting off your culture club cd or trying to poke out your eardrums to get "that song" out of your head. egads.

The consistency was perfect, not too liquid-y but not icee-ish either. I'm telling you, perfect blend! The ingredients were fresh and of great quality. The presentation was also beautiful! On top of that, the bowls were a great size! My mom couldn't finish hers and I forced myself to because it was that good! The juice shots were tasty and strong, and I loved the sustainability aspect of them being served in little glass jars. They focus on organic and gluten free ingredients, and the staff offered to use a special rinse on everything because I have a cashew allergy. The service really was great! Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful with their suggestions all around! I looked up reviews prior to visiting and noticed complaints about sweetness. I think it's important to note they're not using artificial sweeteners or sugars. The bowls are sweet, but naturally sweetened. It doesn't feel overdone which I enjoy! I also think the price point was great. I live on the West Coast and typically spend $11-$15 dollars on a much smaller sized bowl! Definitely recommend this spot and was very happy with our experience!

It's a cute little place, with a minimal amount of seating downstairs, but there is more upstairs. I got the turkey ham sandwich with "special sauce". Husband got the roast beef one with chipotle mayo. They were both delicious, although we couldn't tell a difference in the dipping mayos. Love that they are avocado oil based ones, and meats are nitrate-free. Bread is gluten-free. Husband got a cold coffee shake that he really liked as well. It's not inexpensive, but worth it for the quality ingredients. Service did take awhile, but the Gal was super friendly. If you're in a hurry, I would recommend ordering in advance.
