Very strange vibe to the place with tension pretty apparent between owners or managers with one of the managers or owners talking under his breath about one of the other people (waitress or other owner) to no one in particular, but loud enough people could hear him - using some descriptive language as to what he thought of them. Service was fine when approaching us and at the ordering counter, actually fairly pleasant. This place used to be a cool little quirky cafe, but our time recently was not worth the mood we left with. Everyone has had a bad day or days, especially in this service industry economy, but insulting other workers/owners/managers in front of customers is uncalled for. The toast was also amazing, I dunno how, but perfectly buttery. My Western omelette was fine, nothing amazing but still a good omelette. I was disappointed that their biscuit oven was broken, so I didn't get to try that. Service was super friendly and the tables and chairs were comfy.
