    Chocolate cherry cordial

I ordered the seasonal chocolate cherry cordial (iced) - it was delicious, but was very small for the price + tax (maybe it was because I ordered it iced - the ice took up most of the cup). The inside has a great ambiance though, perfect for meetings, doing work, or just grabbing a coffee with some friends.

I had seen Perennial on Instagram a few times and knew I just had to go there- not only did they have all the classics but very creative coffee and tea drinks as well as mocktails. The matcha lattes did not disappoint and were just gorgeous. Served in a matcha bowl, the color was a vibrant, deep green and the flavor was perfect! We also tried the Tyger Tyger which is a Thai iced tea made with coconut milk, activated charcoal and coconut whipped cream. If I lived closer to Chapel Hill I would be at Perennial all the time. That's how good it is.

Such a cute coffee shop on Franklin Street! There's a lot of space inside to do work or chat with friends. I got a lavender iced latte, which I thought tasted great. It's also the same price for any size drink! The barista was also very nice and helped me pick out coffee beans.

Atmosphere: Perennial is a cozy, cute cafe with lots of plant decor! There are a few tables inside and outdoor patio tables if you want to hang or get some work done. Service: Our barista was kind and had our drink ready quickly. Food: We ordered an iced vanilla latte. The vanilla syrup is homemade (along with their other syrups) and the sweetness really came through. The espresso also tasted decently strong, especially with the drink being iced! Overall: We had a great experience at Perennial and enjoyed our iced latte. In the future, we'd love to try more of their syrup flavors, especially their more unique ones. Though the prices are a bit expensive (understandable given their location), we think that the atmosphere and various menu options warrant giving them a try!

Maple spice cappuccino and banana bread

Came across this adorable spot when exploring Franklin Street. Baristas were sweet and helped me choose what to order. I always like to choose the most popular drink if I can. Perfect place for a coffee date or to even do some studying (I felt so old being around plenty of college students). I ordered the Maple Spice cappuccino and a slice of banana bread. Just the perfect amount of sweetness, for both of them. Definitely a great spot if you need a caffeine boost!

Perennial is great: -super cute / comfortable shop, it's a nice place to hang inside or out -very friendly and courteous staff -solid locally roasted coffee -they make a flat white perfectly It's my Chapel Hill go-to whenever I can do it!

Perennial has a special place in my heart, I went on an amazing first date here. I continuously go back whenever I am in town. Their coffee is great and so is the staff. I even saw one of the staff members reading the same obscure book as me, and we got to have a chat about it which I found really nice. There even was a documentary recommendation for me during that chat. The space itself is amazing, a cool (by cool I'm mean AC) space on the inside that is perfect to sit at and work on your computer or read a book. When the weather is nice there is plenty of out door seating along the side of the building or picnic tables in the back. Being located on Franklin Street, they are a prime spot to stop for a well brewed coffee or a well pulled espresso shot. Perennial is my top pick if you're looking for one of the best coffee shops in Chapel Hill

Perennial has great vibes! I stopped in on a rainy day and ended up staying for a while just to enjoy the atmosphere -- lots of brick, exposed white textures, plants, etc. It is quiet enough to focus on some work or have a conversation. I got an iced americano and it was good, though next time I'd try something else, including a pastry!

A cute aesthetic spot to get your caffeine fix and meet up with a friend or get work done earlier in the day. I recently went to Perennial about midday on a Sunday. I'd passed by this shop in the past and the exterior always caught my eye. So I finally went! Covid times: they have you stand a distance from the register/coffee bar and order. They have one of those small devices for you to insert or tap your payment method, but no screen so they'll tell you the total and ask you if you want to tip. They have a good size menu with both coffee and tea as well as some other alternative options. I just got an iced latte which was solid but nothing special. It was relatively quiet there with chill ambiance, conducive to productivity! They have a mix of indoor seating, seating out front, and a side patio area. The decor is super super cute. At first I was a bit confused because in previous photos I saw they had an upstairs seating area but I think within the past year or so they moved to a neighboring space. I only wish they were open longer - they close 2 PM on weekdays and 3 PM on weekends. I would definitely go back!

Cute & quaint little place to get your tea or coffee fix. I got a lavender lattè with oat milk and it was sooooo delish! The people who served me were so nice and welcoming. The whole establishment had a feeling of going Into your friends house to hang out and drink coffee. Love the whole vibe ! Thank you !!!
