It is a very welcoming vibe and the bartenders and staff were helpful without being pushy. The food was better than it had to be for neighborhood tavern fare with occasional surprises making the menu memorable. WOuld definitely go again.

Tried this place a few weeks ago and then went back again last night because it was so good! This place is unassuming but packs a punch. The staff is super nice and attentive. They are very knowledgable about the food and drinks. I am a big meat eater so I got the 3 way bbq tray and my gf got their wings and seasonal soup. Every single meat on the tray was savory and packed with flavor. The blackberry bbq sauce is my absolute favorite thing. It is a great pairing with the wings and i even dipped a few fries in from time to time. 1000000% will be back! See yall soon!

Always a great meal and wonderful outdoor seating! The patio has shade along the building and likely full shade in the late afternoon. It makes for a great place on nice days for lunch, drinks or dinner. And, as always, they have great food and friendly service. If you've never been, you need to give them a try!

Spring salad

Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Freeman's grub and pub. We chose the spring salad with chicken and blackberries along with the chicken BLT/Rosemary fries. We thoroughly enjoyed both entrées. Emily was perfecting a specialty cocktail for the U.S. Open tennis tournament and she let us taste her recipe. It was terrific. We brought home a specialty barbecue sauce with blackberry in it - looking forward to trying that. Great service, background music and a special afternoon out.

As always, the food here is spectacular! You can tell it was made with love! I am a creature of habit and got the same thing I did last time. It was just so good the last time I had to do it again. Vegan chicken, hot honey sandwich. Oh my gosh, so good! Came here with my family for Sunday lunch and they were able to accommodate our large group pictured below. We got help from one of the servers to slide tables together. She was amazing and extremely helpful! We were able to sit outside and enjoy the new patio area. 10 out of 10 recommend!

This was my first time at Freeman's. I loved this spot when it was Sessions a long time ago. Met a friend here for lunch and it was a great time. Great vibes, friendly and helpful service, and I loved the patio. The inside is really pretty too. Several things on the menu looked great. My sandwich and the street corn were delicious!!

This was our first time going here. They have very limited parking space. We ordered an appetizer of poutine and it was delicious. I ordered a Cuban sandwich with waffle fries. My wife ordered a brisket sandwich and a soup. Both were very good. Great waitress and a very cool atmosphere there. The wife did get a fruity beer and a salad to go. All in it was around 71$ but it was a good time so it was worth it to us.

The food never disappoints! It is always so so good and so so flavorful! It is also very fresh and you can tell they put a lot of pride in their food! The service is always amazing and very kind! The ambiance is relaxed and very comfortable! I really enjoy spending time here with friends and family!

I went on a Sunday where a portion of the proceeds were going to backpack beginnings - very cool of a business to do this. I got the Nashville chicken - it was really good. The service was good - we sat outside. This is my second time here, the first being a couple years ago. It continues to be on the top reviewed so I had to try it again and I'm glad I did.

Love the amount of veggie and vegan options Freeman's has to offer! Being one of the top Yelp rated places in the COUNTRY is a huge crown to carry, and Freeman's does not dissapoint. The service is always quick, and the food is fresh and delicious. Everything is pretty fair priced and the bartenders are wonderful. They maintain such a cozy vibe in there! Parking can be a bit hectic! They do have parking right behind Freeman's and on the street beside them. Go and see why Freeman's is rated so high!

I arrived here at 7:52pm on a Saturday night to meet a friend for dinner and drinks. I arrived first. A waiter had to clean off a dirty table. It is a small space but they do have outdoor seating. I ordered a water and app wings at 7:57pm and it came at 8:07pm. The wings were crispy and delicious. I dipped it in the sauce it came with, which I also enjoyed. After a few minutes, we ordered drinks. I got the b-cubed and my friend got a margarita. It took an average amount of time to arrive. The drink was different for me, but I enjoyed it. We ordered food at 8:25pm. I got the brisket entree with regular fries and my friend for the chopped brisket sandwich with waffle fries. The food came 10 minutes later, which was quick. I, personally, didn't like the brisket sauce but the brisket itself was good. I dipped it in the bbq sauce I got with my fries. I was expecting more than 2 pieces of brisket, however. My fries were hot and fresh. The table was small and they brought my brisket and fries on a separate plate when they could've combined it. While trying to make room, a piece of brisket I cut fell on the floor. I was so disappointed because it was the end piece that was charred. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had a male and female staff that attended to us. It was a pleasurable experience and I would return. They have a small parking lot and some street parking available too.

Love Freeman's! Service is always top-notch! I ordered my usual--Uncle Mike's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich--and while the flavor was spot-on, it wasn't served hot. I am a self-proclaimed, "hot food snob", so when my food is served at room temp it puts a damper on my dining experience. That said, my brussel sprouts were hot, crispy and delish, and the sweet potato hash, just as yummy!! We were seated promptly, and our food arrived quickly. Despite the temperature hiccup, my experience was great and I'll definitely be back!

Freeman's occupies one of the distinguished positions in the Top 100, so when I was looking for a lunch option on a Sunday afternoon, it was an obvious choice to try. Parking was slim but available, and first impressions were good with a cute older building. Service was friendly and prompt, and we were immediately greeted with menus and had drink orders taken. Freeman's keeps things interesting with seasonally rotating menus changing some of the featured items every few months. They also make their own infused liquors and special cocktails using them. I ordered their Ms. Frizzle cocktail which was made with Raspberry + Green Tea infused Beefeater, and it was a very tasty tangy lemonade type drink. While it was good, at $14 I thought it was a bit expensive, and I would have appreciated prices being listed on the menu rather than a surprise with the check. We started with salads, myself the Greek salad and my wife the Caesar. Both were crisp, fresh, and flavorful. They charged $4 extra to substitute the Caesar as the side with the meal, and $1 extra for the Greek as a side. I had the Bahn Mi Pork sandwich; it was a good portion and very flavorful. It was warm, with lightly toasted bread, and was filling. My wife had their special Coq au Vin flatbread and it was, in one word, disappointing. The flatbread was thin and soggy, and there was no way to eat that by hand. The flavor wasn't that good, the portion not filling, and for a $14 entree we were all around unimpressed. Overall, aside from the flatbread, the items we ordered were good and I would have them again. However, I was disappointed at how expensive the meal was. They also charge a 4% surcharge for using a card to pay, something not disclosed until you get the check. I generally dislike places with unclear pricing, so between no pricing on alcohol and adding a surcharge at the end, those were negatives. The food and atmosphere were mostly good, the service friendly, and the bar capable. Overall a good place but I don't see myself being a regular here.

How's the best way to get a current copy of the menu? I understand it changes pretty frequently.

The menu changes seasonally (aside from the occasional random drink or food special.) Current menu is on Yelp! They might also post on their Facebook page when the new menu is released.

What vegetarian options do you have on your menu?

Do you have any fish or seafood? I have an allergy to fish and seafood

The only fish/seafood we have in house is anchovies for our Caesar dressing. We take allergies very seriously so please let your server know and we will make sure we handle everything with care for you! Hope to see you soon!

Very much so! All of our staff may show your pets too much love just a warning 🤣👏

They have the most amazing handcrafted drinks that are carefully curated by the entire team and you can really tell the extra love and attention that goes into making this place feel warm and inviting. I also love that they feature local artists in their space, as well as locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with the owner Jocelyn and hearing her story about how Bitters came to be, made this place feel that much more special. These were some of the best drinks I've ever had. Hands down. Definitely check them out - it's a 2 story venue with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of cozy little corners to sit and explore their menu (which has a great selection of specialty drinks as well as some seasonal items). Highly recommend the Paw Paw's Pepsi!! Huge shoutout to Jocelyn, Brian and Jacob for making my visit so special!!

Bitters Social House is so much more than a bar,it's an experience! First off, this isn't your…read moretypical nightlife spot. There are no TVs, no loud chaos, it's intentionally designed for conversation. And we really leaned into that... we sat there for hours just talking, and it never felt rushed or transactional. What makes this place stand out is how thoughtful everything is. They have over 60 different bitters, and the drinks are completely handcrafted and customizable. Ours were made by Jacob, and you can tell there's real skill and care behind what they're doing. not just pouring drinks, but creating something tailored to you. But honestly, the highlight for me wasn't even the drinks, although I admit, the drinks were absolutely incredible, but it was the people! I will tell you that I've tried old fashioned several times and never ever liked them. This was the first time in my entire life I've ever actually enjoyed an old fashioned, and ordered another one, on purpose! Get the pawpaws Pepsi. 10/10 We got to meet the owner, Jocelyn, and her partner Brian, and that completely changed the experience. Jocelyn is a real survivor. She's been through things that could've & should have, easily shut this place down or broken her, but instead, she built something meaningful out of it. She's a survivor in every sense of the word. You can feel that resilience in the space. it's not just a business, it's personal. Brian has been a strong, steady support system behind the scenes. Learning more about their story made everything feel more intentional and real, not just another trendy concept. Another thing people don't realize, this place is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients you won't find everywhere. It's part lounge, part community space, part educational experience. It's also dog-friendly, cozy, and set up in a way that actually makes you want to stay awhile and connect, whether that's with the people you came with or the people you meet there. Bitters isn't for people looking for a loud, quick night out. It's for people who appreciate good conversation, intentional drinks, and a deeper story behind where they're spending their time. And once you understand that... it hits different.

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

I tried a dish that I had never had before, as well as naan. (Because of course. How do you not get naan?) I wish I could say that it was worth the wait, but my experience here suggested otherwise. Positives first: Noor is both spacious and stylish with plenty of seating in both the bar and dining areas. Sujan proved to be an attentive and courteous server. That said, the buffet was somewhat underwhelming. It was smaller than those I've found elsewhere in the area. While it offered a solid mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, those offerings were the epitome of playing it safe. Only the hakka noodles (not always an Indian buffet staple) and butter chicken (better than average) really stood out. Nothing else, from the tandoori chicken to the daal to the naan, was prepared poorly, but it was fairly forgettable. Granted, buffet food needs to appeal to a wide range of diners with varying levels of spice tolerance, and so I went in not expecting any heat. Take spiciness out of the equation, however, and the flavors still felt subdued. At least the $20 seemed reasonable for what was offered. It's possible that Noor really shines if you order off the regular menu, and so I wouldn't rule out a return here. The next time I want a weekend lunch buffet, however, I think I'll stick to Taaza.
