This is a small, take out only place in the middle of nowhere - without GPS I certainly would not have found this spot. The address is listed as in Clemmons, but I don't buy that. It is located several miles beyond Arcadia on NC 150. I ordered a regular Stromboli (ham & pepperon but no salami), adding onion and green pepper - discovered that each additional topping was $1.50. Took over 25 minutes to get my order. The Stromboli was enormous, loaded with cheese but the other toppings were more than a little slim, and the onions were red, those nasty things should be banned. The taste was mostly of the cheese, and the entire Stromboli was very greasy, more so than any one I've tasted. The Stromboli was loosely wrapped in aluminum foil, placed on a thin paper plate, and slid into a regular brown paper bag. The plate and the bag were soaked with the grease - what a mess! I will not return, even if I could find it again. The Stromboli was terrible, the distance is a problem, and they tacked on a 4% "non-cash" charge. I will not revisit restaurants that impose such a charge, and when I visit one for the first time and they add such a charge, I will not add a tip! This will be especially true with no table service restaurants. Enough is enough! read more

Bella Napoli X-press doesn't look like a lot from the outside, but isn't it often the case that those unassuming places are the best? That's definitely the case here. A true family owned and operated pizzeria and Italian take out joint, I'd venture to say that they produce the best Italian food I've had in the area. Seriously, this food will make you want to throw rocks at the chain places. We stopped in at noon on a Sunday, nobody was around except the owner. After a quick look at the menu, we settled on lasagna and chicken fettuccine. Both came with salad and were cooked to perfection. The fettuccine was creamy, cheesy, and delicious. The lasagna was true Italian awesomenesss. I really can't recommend them more highly!! read more

I order from this place at least once or twice a week. I am aware that there prices on line are not there prices in store... at all. Way higher but the food is good (only thing i don't care for are there wings) so i don't mind paying. My problem arose tonight when i had a delivery order and paid cash. The NEW GUY (bc i know the other two guys at the establishment and the delivery men) Anyway, NEW GUY quoted me $19.00 even for my shrimp scampi, grilled chicken and spinach then gets to my house and up charges me because HE neglected to ring in the chicken. How did he know i had the extra funds? How did he know i didn't go to the ATM before he came and get the $20 (which is what i did) i was going to let him keep the food and just say forget but not only did i pay the extra i also tipped him STILL! This interaction was extremely unprofessional and i should have made him keep it or called to speak with the owner. You don't know a persons pockets and to tell me another price at my door with my food in hand is crazy! I think my business with them is done and that's sad bc they literally know my face read more

Not the best, not the worst. Our usual pizza joint was closed so we decided to give something new a try. Placed an order for a large pizza with 3 toppings, one of the toppings was left off. Also placed an order for 12 wings, very underwhelming for $16.95. This is not Neapolitan style pizza, which is totally fine. This is much thicker and much floppier. Also a very strange additional credit card charge associated with any credit card transaction. Not sure what that is about. The prices on the Yelp page does not reflect the actual prices of the food. I know inflation has probably caused price increases but keeping this information up to date is a basic expectation customers should have. For example on the page it says 12 wings are $8.95 but the actual price is $16.95, which it totally fine but should be communicated upfront to the customer/on the Yelp page. It is hard for me to go above 2 stars here as it was extremely underwhelming for $37. It's definitely better than most franchise and chain pizza joints but it is about double the price. There is potential for this place but cleaning up the execution to meet the price point is desperately needed. read more

I placed an order tonight for 2 large pizzas, mozz sticks, and wings. I was told it would be an hour for pickup. I arrive to pick up my order and they don't have it. After the cashier and the cooks search I'm told they must have lost the ticket. I said, "so you took my order over the phone and just lost it?" She shrugs her shoulders at me and says "must be." The girl was very rude and not apologetic all. Not once did she apologize or try to compensate me in any way. Terrible customer service. They have lost my business! read more

My "go to" delivery pizza joint! Wings are very good (get the hot). Wings are fried, not baked. Cannot stand a baked chicken wing! Also have had the Philly cheesesteak. Not too bad either. Pizza is NY style. If enjoy wings and pizza, ask for their 2 topping pizza and wing specials. Believe there's two options, one with more wings. Maybe 12 or 24 wing options? May consider asking for wing sauce on the side for crisper wings. Not on menu. read more

When we order from here I always get the kids portion of the lasagna. It is Awesome!!! I also, like there pizza. Everything we get from here is HOT and delicious. We get food from here at least 2 to 3 times a month. The service is very good. If they leave something off and you picked it up all you have to do is call them and they will bring it to you to keep from you coming back. read more

The pasta and pizza is just what you'd imagine to get from a local Italian restaurant. The food is heavy but that that's what makes it so delicious the dairy and carbs. Definitely the best Italian food in a 30 mile radius. The fettuccine is a personal favorite. The cow zones and wings are good choices for the lactose intolerant. read more

I have ordered here about 4 times since they are close to my house. The food is so so. Not great and not truly awful. I have ordered fries most times and when they are fresh, they are fantastic. But when they aren't, they can't be eaten. I tried twice in a row to order their "House Specialty" which is supposed to be Eggplant Parmigiana and both times they gave me baked spaghetti. And the salad that came with the last "House Specialty" was the core of the head of lettuce. So either they don't actually serve Eggplant Parmigiana or don't know what it is. people seem friendly enough but not over concerned enough to have your food prepared correctly or in a timely fashion. last night when I ordered, the last time I will, according to the Slice app, my order was ready. I arrived and had to wait another 20 minutes for 2 items. So they didn't start my order till I got there to pick it up. Place always seems dirty too. But this is just my experience and opinion and by all means, you should try it yourselves and make you own decisions and maybe you will love it. But as for me, I won't be eating from here again. The Slice app that you have to order from if you want to order online, requires a minimum $20 and also charges a "Support Local Contribution" fee which is BS. The shop would make more from tips if they didn't charge that fee, especially on pick up orders. But because of that fee and having the order wrong most of the time, I don't tip. read more

I'm sad to write this review. This place has been a favorite of ours for years! Their pizza and wings were the best around. But lately, the pizza has been a bit soggy and the wings are TERRIBLE. Bella Napoli X-press is an interesting place. Located in the midst of what amounts to an industrial park, it technically has a Clemmons address but is way on down the road from there. It is family owned and operated--I got to witness what I assume was the son rolling his eyes at an instruction his father gave him. It is strictly carryout or delivery and seemed pretty busy on a Saturday night. The pizza had a good taste overall. The toppings are generous and taste good, and they actually put garlic on it if you order it. The drawbacks I noticed were a crust that was a little too salty, an uninspired sauce, and my pizza was not cooked long enough (unmelted cheese). The BEST pizza in this area. It's our favorite. A thin, crispy NY style crust. We also love the cheesy bread (it's the one that comes on pizza dough) and garlic knots. This is our new favorite pizza! We have lived about 1 mile from this place for over a year. My only regret is not trying Bella Napoli sooner! The pizza was hot! The crust was a perfect thickness and cooked all the way through the entire pie. The sauce was not full of salt like other places and the pie had just the right amount and mixture of cheese.
