So far everything has been delicious! The appetizer was delicious and now I'm waiting for my lasagna and a salad. Didn't even have a wait on Valentine's Day. Can't wait to try the pizza next time!!

Garlic Bread, well topped with cheese. And the Marinara Sauce is amazing.

This time in I wanted to try the Lasagna and I added an order of Garlic Bread. The Lasagna came with a well sized garden salad. The garlic bread quickly followed the salad. It was also well sized with plenty of cheese and great tasting marina sauce - nice touch of acidity - in fact, this marinara sauce was as good as any I've had in the area, right up there with Di Liso's and Coppola's! The Lasagna was out soon and like the other two items it rather large serving. The Lasagna was very good, plenty of meat, cheese, and sauce.

    Burger and onion rings

I came in for dinner with a friend, and was pleased with the service here. I ordered a burger and onion rings. The rings were the thin style, very crunchy, a little harder to eat. I prefer the normal style because the larger onion sections have a distinct texture and flavor (including juice) that comes through. The burger was fine, nothing special about it. Overall for the food, I would have given a three-star. My friend had a cheesesteak as recommended by the server, and he said it was fine. The extra star came from the service. The wait-person we had was super nice, smiley and available. Nazyra (sp?) had a different name and I hope I'm not butchering the spelling! Based on the whole experience, I might come back and try different food.

We were on the north side of Winston last weekend and checked our Yelp bookmarks. We briefly saw that Francesco's offered a wide variety of items and decided to stop in about 11:30 on a Saturday. When we arrived there were just a few cars in the parking lot and they had opened at 11. We were immediately greeted upon walking in by several young ladies who told us to take a seat anywhere. They provided us menus and took our drink order. The menu consists of appetizers, pizzas, stromboli and calzone options, sandwiches, burgers and pasta dishes. We decided to share a large calzone and my wife ordered a side salad while I picked an order of their garlic bread. The stand alone building appears to be very clean and well taken care of and there was a steady stream of people arriving to dine in as well as pick up to go orders. Our salad and garlic bread arrived quickly and looked yummy. Our server was friendly and efficient as well. We enjoyed both and commented again on how reasonably priced the menu items are. My wife had to try the garlic bread I ordered and loved it. Our calzone arrived shortly afterwards and was huge. We had also requested extra marinara and our server brought a good size bowl of hot marinara which was appreciated. We immediately dug in and really enjoyed every bite. It was too much to eat between the two of us and we were able to package up the leftover calzone and marinara. Again, great find and we would recommend to others.

Located off the beaten path, this place offers great food at affordable prices. At a stand alone building with its own private parking lot. You are immediately greeted by one of their employees. There are always specials posted on a board near the entrance and more often than not they are really nice choices. Place has ample seating inside and is very comfortable not tight like other places. For appetizers we had the Bruschetta which was really good. Mozzarella sticks were perfectly seasoned on outside and hot gooey cheese inside. The soup of the day was Lobster Bosque, it did not impress, watery, salty and absolutely no lobster meat in it. The Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Cheesesteak were both very hearty and filling g according to my daughter and friend. I had the chicken Parm hero, good sauce to mozzarella ration. Chicken had good flavor though it was cut up and I prefer whole cutlets. Overall a great deal for the money. Our waitress was super friendly and patient with us. She always kept on top of our drinks and consistently checked on us.

I wish i would have taken pictures of the fresh sautéed spinach and the broccoli out of the containers absolutely superb. The spinach and broccoli was so good I've gone two days in a row just for those items and they give you nice portion sizes all for $4.00. Those alone are worth the trip. As they include fresh garlic. The shrimp scampi pasta dish was good had to order some extra sauce to give it some gusto both it was not bad. Customer service is good and it doesn't take long to place and receive your orders.

I had lunch here today and I truly do enjoy coming to this restaurant I've been coming here since I was a kid today, we ordered the bruschetta which was amazing the bread was perfectly toasted we also ordered a small pepperoni pizza. I always have a good meal here from subs to the salads everything is always fresh and tasty. I will say our server wasn't supper attentive, but this is the first time I have encountered that at this establishment this is a great family restaurant or quick lunch stop there is plenty of parking here as well and they have outdoor seating as well this is definitely a hidden gem with greattt pizza.

Francesco's has always been a favorite of mine. They're great for Italian eats that don't break the bank. The waitresses give that family feeling you get in a small-town establishment like this. The portions are huge and the quality is great. The baked ziti uses a vodka sauce instead of traditional red sauce, which I love! They have an amazing steak and cheese Stromboli as well. Also noteworthy: they sell DJ's Cheesecakes! DJ is a local retailer with crazy yet awesome cheesecake flavors. It's a must try too!

Let me repeat...#18 in the thousands and thousands of pizza joints across the country. And right here in our very own Triad area! Super cozy interior with an exquisite Italian style pizza oven, great mood lighting and a wonderful bar top right by where the main pizza makers are doing their thing. But let's get to the food. I say this and I do not say it lightly...THE BEST NEAPOLITAN STYLE PIZZA I'VE HAD IN YEARS. This place isn't your typical neighborhood pizza joint. It's in a league of it's own compared to those, especially when it comes to Neapolitan style pizzas. First, the arancini app was superb. Crispy and hot on the outside, with soft rice and oozing cheese in the middle, cradled on the plate by an amazing homemade marinara sauce. And the main event, a mushroom pizza. The dough is one of the best I've had, light and fluffy, and baked to perfection. Chef Peyton is an artist and the pizza dough is his canvas. All the main ingredients (the cheese, dough and sauce) are all in the true Neapolitan form. And the toppings aren't your typical grocery store level stuff. The mushrooms were a medley of oyster and trumpet mushrooms, locally sourced from Heritage Harvest Farm. And these don't just get thrown on raw and the whole pizza baked...oh no. Chef Peyton prepares them prior in a skillet which get put in the pizza oven to roast and pre-bake. You can taste the difference here. And I was told that many of the ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and farm to table. Pure perfection from crust to crust, end to end, top to bottom. Let's talk about the price and put it in perspective. Sure, it's a little more pricy than your local pizza shop down the street. But the high value you're getting here absolutely validates the pricing. The fresh farm to table ingredients and the meticulously made pizzas are on another level. And honestly, I've had more expensive Italian food and pizza, and many of them don't come close when comparing apples to apples. It's 100% worth it. I'm a pizza lover, fan and addict. This ranks in the top 3, if not higher, pizza experiences I've had throughout the decades. I can't wait to go back and try their "Pizzakase", an omakase style Italian tasting experience. If you love pizza, Italian food, or just experiencing something truly delicious, you need to come and try it. This will be our go to "pizza experience" spot for years to come.

Sometimes we open Yelp and decide to go to some places just because we've never heard of it before…read moreand the reviews are awesome. Vinnie's Pizzeria was that for us today. When we want pizza, I'm looking for authentic New York style or some brick oven baked charred crust. Vinnie's isn't either of these but it had great reviews from fellow yelpers so of course we needed to see it for ourselves. It was pretty crowded when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long before we were seated. Dominique our Server helped us decide what to order. She was awesome and fun and we could tell she loved her job and the food there. I love that! She highly recommended the garlic knots so we started with those. My husband got Chicken Marsala on Dominique's recommendation. I ordered Chicken Cannelloni. The portions are very generous and I ended up taking some home for a nice treat later. Everything we had was delicious and now I want to go back and try the pizza.

A surprizingly small eatery, has a separate dining area with booths and some tables. Our server was professional and kind, we ordered our drinks and a start with their version of Bruschetta. This was an excellent start for our evening there. A beautiful presentation of five pieces, nicely toasted with paper thin prosciutto de parma, fresh mozzarella, chopped tomato, capers and balsamic reduction drizzle. Delicious, rich, crunchy, sweet, savory and full flavored. I went for the Parmigiana with chicken, served over angel hair with a rich tomato sauce. A hearty meal, the chicken cutlet was breaded nicely, and pounded thin, cooked very well. The pasta underneath cooked al dante, and it all smoothered in a rich maranara. We also tried the Mediterranean pizza, a 12" and it was huge. A well made pie, loaded with ingredients. The combination of fresh pesto with the mushrooms, olives, banana peppers, roasted red peppers and feta was a solid choice. Along with a cold draft Stella it made for an very good meal. 4 Stars a solid choice for a good meal 01242

Always on the quest to try new things, this was our lunch time stop once day while out and about. It was a beautiful sunny day, and I appreciated that there were outside seating options. There were both exposed and shaded areas, plus plenty of indoor seating. The whole thing their brand revolves around is a large wood-fired oven, and you can see this prominently when you walk in the door. The subtle smoky smell really adds to the atmosphere and makes you hungry right away. We came during lunch time, so we took advance of their lunch specials, where you get a half serving of a pizza plus another item (we both opted for wings as the other item.) I opted for the 4X4 pizza (4 meats) and the Garlic Rosemary wings, while my wife got the Bronx Bomber pizza and buffalo wings. On both sides, the wings were delicious in an unexpected way, grilled but with a nice char, and full of meat. The seasonings on both were just right, and I didn't even bother dipping mine in any dressing. The 4x4 pizza was quite greasy, with oil dripping off when you pick it up. I used a bunch of napkins to blot what I could off, but the amount of grease got in the way of enjoying the flavor. To be fair, it is on an olive oil base, but when you combine that with all the intrinsic fat of the processed meats, it was too much. The Bronx Bomber, however, was much better. With spicy Italian sausage, prosciutto, mozzarella, Gorgonzola, and topped with fresh oregano, it was flavorful but balanced, and good to the last bite. The server we had, who's name escapes me, was very friendly, attentive, and made helpful suggestions. I'd certainly come back here another day for lunch, though I would pass on the 4x4 Pizza next time.
