    Italian Nachos
    Allison P.

We stopped in for the lunch buffet after seeing lots of social medial posts about it. We did order the hot chip nacho appetizer which was super delicious. I'll preface this by saying it was a later lunch, but the buffet wasn't an amazing as we had thought it would be. Maybe it would have been fresher and more stocked earlier in the lunch rush. The service was great as was the space. We'll definitely return and order from the menu next time.

I ordered the lasagna and Caesar salad for dinner. I eagerly waited for it to be delivered by a door dasher. Unfortunately, I was very very disappointed. The lasagna just did not taste great. It was flat and not really layered or meaty. I requested a refund from DoorDash.

Not a pizza aficionado by any means, but I thoroughly enjoy coming here for the pizza lunch buffet. Service is always very kind and attentive. Ambiance is that of a nice Italian restaurant. I think the pizzas great, there's always a lot of variety with the flavors and their dessert pizza isn't half bad either. The crust is on the thinner and crunchier side which is my personal preference. Vegetarian options available. Can't speak on any of the other dishes since I've only come here for the pizza lunch buffet, but I do like the pizza.

Went to an end of year luncheon for work today and tried manicotti for the first time. The manicotti comes out in a smaller dish but it was really good- I actually finished it at the restaurant. I ordered a side Caesar salad and limoncello cake to go. The servers were very efficient and kind. We enjoyed ourselves.

I love this restaurant one of my favorites but last night I tried the roasted scallops dinner 32.00 and my scallops very cold couldn't eat it, very disappointed. Thank goodness for my French onion soup it was hot and delicious

We walked in and it was a super busy Friday night, yet we were seated within 10 minutes. Loved that. The dining room is rather open so it was really loud with conversation, creating a nice buzz. They had two of my all time favorites so that's what I ordered. French Onion Soup and Manicotti. We choose the Cheese Bread for the appetizer. I have to say the bread was ok, would have been better if the bread had been toasted before adding the cheese, however the marinara was absolutely delicious. They timed everything to come to the table at various times so we had time to finish one course before starting the next. I was a little surprised by their prices, although not cheep but less expensive that I thought they might be. My dining partner got the Chicken Parm said it was delicious. Our bill was just over 60.00. I will definitely be dining here again.

My pasta was so flavorful! Really hit the spot and had enough to take home leftovers. The Italian sausage and shrimp in the penne el Greco was a nice combination! The waitress was nice and kept our drinks and bread basket full. Was a nice place to take our neighbors for a meal. The dining room has a cozy intimate feel with all the dark wood and low lighting. Too bad we didn't have any room to try a dessert...

Took friends out to dinner recently to thank them for their help ona. Project my wife and I were working on. They asked for Italian, and I suggested Giannos. It was their first time visiting and they were happy to try it. We arrived around 6, and were promptly seated. The waitress was friendly, halo full and quick to make a few suggestions. We placed our orders, I got the pasta carbonara, one of my favorite dishes. Food came out reasonably quickly, and tasted great! It was a bit on the greasier side than ost times I've gotten it, maybe due to the amount or quality of pork product used (?). But tasty nonetheless. The portions are generous especially considering then side salad, and there was some to take home for lunch. My only real complaint isitt seemed like as people arrived they kept seating them in the same area we were sitting in, rather than spreading them out. Unfortunately this meant it quickly became rather loud in the bar area and a bit hard to have a conversation But food and service were good, and I'd recommend this place over the chain pasta spots any day.

2 stars for the atmosphere. Cute family style feel Italian restaurant. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was this place downfall. I'm not Italian and I feel offended that this food is calling itself Italian. It's like the chef was trying to do his/her own spin on traditional dishes. Will not be back here next work trip .

Nice selection of IPAs and other drinks at the bar. We had the Boss and the Peace Train. The pizza is outstanding! The Boss is really good--sausage along with the crust make this a must eat option. The bar staff did a great job of checking in with us during our time there. Well run team. Between the beer selection, bar seating vibe, and top-notch pizza, this is an easy spot to come back to. We will certainly check it out when we are back in town.

I love when businesses really dive into their themes. The loaded fries were delicious. Including both solid (shredded cheddar) and liquid (white queso) cheese in one dish is a genius touch. I can't believe I've never thought to do that before. We paid to add fresh jalapeños to it, which added a nice fresh and spicy kick. Other than that, this was not a good experience. I did not enjoy the pizza, and the service was practically non-existent. Our server was nowhere to be found for the first 10 minutes or so, and then failed to bring drinks for several minutes after that. And it was not busy in there at all -- lots of open tables, and plenty of staff standing around. After delivering drinks and taking our order, he did not come back. We saw him walking around in other parts of the dining room, but he did not check on us. Several minutes after finishing our drinks, no refill in sight, we flagged him down and asked for a refill, which he brought. At this point, someone else had already delivered our food, and we were well into our meal. After bringing the one drink refill, we did not see him again until we asked for the check. The pizza was pretty dry, and did not come with vodka sauce as advertised. It was a red sauce not-so-thoroughly-mixed with Alfredo. I actually don't think they mixed them at all prior to putting it on the crust -- there were quite a few unmixed pockets, so I think they dolloped both on and swirled it around. I'm sure this does achieve a vodka-like flavor if executed correctly, but that was not the case here. Vodka sauce is typically silkier, more acidic, and far less sweet than this was. I didn't really like the red sauce at all here, and would definitely not order it (or their so-called vodka sauce) again. More salt/garlic would help, but I'd probably go with another base entirely, if I were to come back. In all, this is a great place to come if you're super into music, like appetizers, don't plan on eating pizza, and want to tip an aloof teenager for doing absolutely nothing.

Even though I had originally made the reservations for outdoor dining, the weather did not cooperate but it was not an issue and they had moved us inside per my reservation request. The hostess was very friendly and polite and we were seated immediately. Our server Denise came over quickly and was very friendly. Ste asked if we had been a guest before and offered some recommendations. She brought out some fresh baked bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping - the bread was FANTASTIC! I ordered a Limoncello Martini and a bottle of Merlot, as well as the Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer. The appetizer went fabulously with the bread! The appetizer had a bit too much olive oil and balsamic in the bowl- just a drizzle if both would have been sufficient, especially with the little side plate of both that comes with the bread, but was still great! We then ordered the Lobster Ravioli and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara for our main dishes. The Lobster Ravioli had great flavor and had a good amount of lobster filling but WAY too much of the cream sauce. It could've had 1/3 of the sauce and been just as good if not better. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was ok. Definitely NOT a traditional Carbonara. It was more of a Spaghetti Alfredo and again WAAAAYYYY too much sauce that was definitely more of an alfredo sauce than a traditional Italian Carbonara dish. I brought it home to add broccoli and chicken to the leftovers so not completely disappointed but wouldn't order it again. We also ordered the Key Lime Pie and Tiramisu desserts to go. The tiramisu was definitely not a traditional tiramisu as it had a heavy chocolate sauce/ganache on top rather than the traditional cocoa powder dusting but was ok. A tad on the thin/soggy side. Would probably not order this again either. I will say that the ambiance was great and the staff was so friendly! The appetizer and martini were so good that I will DEFINITELY be back for the appetizer, service and to give something else on the menu a shot. We are looking forward to hopefully being able to enjoy the outdoor dining next time and will definitely ask for Denise again.

The service is terrible, and the food is even worse. There was a flimsy "room" divider covering some boxes they have in the middle of the dining area, the divider fell on top of a person that was dining right next to our table. The gentleman was injured and the server barely apologized and proceeded to pick up the divider and place it back up despite it being on the way and clearly flimsy. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and added a side of grilled chicken. This was the worse carbonara I've ever had, it was more like an Alfredo gone wrong. It was drenched in a heavy creamy sauce, inedible. The chicken was as dry as the desert, overcooked and flavorless. Service was extremely slow, inattentive and unfriendly. Save yourself the headache, you will be better off at McDonald's for 1/10th of the price.

Mixed bag is the best way I can describe the times I have had food from Rome Italian Pizza. I…read moreactually grew up in High Point, but had never eaten inside the actual restaurant until a week ago. That said, I have had pizzas either by take-out or delivery several times over what has to be 30 years now. Lately, I had a couple basic pizzas from them at a function in downtown, and we also stopped in for lunch on a total whim, wanting a pizza buffet. First, the pizzas over the years. I would say, on par with most of the locally owned pizza and local franchise spots around, like an Elizabeth's. Sometimes, I would describe the pizza as dry, other times, the sauce ratio is a little better and it is quite good. The pizza is a solid 4 stars, I would say, if you're considering a pizza... go for it, decide for yourself. Now, our most recent experience inside the restaurant, was simply not a positive one. We came in around 1pm, wanting to do the pizza buffet. Unfortunately, looking at what was available, it just wasn't appealing. The pizza was very cold, it needed a refresh. We expressed this to the waitress. If she had said "we'll make you a fresh pizza of whichever type you want" we'd have been game. That's not the response we got, so we moved on to hot subs. I ordered the meatball sub, my wife ordered chicken parm. The meatball was, just ok. The meatballs themselves were sliced and warm, sauce was the same I was used to from the pizza, cheese could have used more time to melt, but overall... I was OK. Her sandwich, was not good at all. She did write her own review about it, and I happen to agree. It's generally expected that ordering a chicken parm sandwich at an italian pizzeria is going to be a breaded cutlet. What was given was the shaved chicken that you would normally see if someone orders chicken on a pizza (not my thing, but to each their own). The result was very very dry chicken. The sandwich sat on her plate with two bites taken out of it for the meal duration. No prompt was given for whether we enjoyed our meal. In all, I learned my lesson that day, that this place is good for a fresh pizza. I'll only go that route in the future. The sandwiches were simply not our preference. The chicken parm needs to be rethought, or better explained as shaved chicken.

Aside from the kind server and clean interior, this was a terrible experience. We wanted to go to…read moreanother restaurant's pizza buffet, but got there and saw that it was closed, and decided to try this one instead. We took one look at the pizza buffet and decided ordering a fresh sandwich would be better than the cold, unappealing slices sitting out. We were wrong. My partner ordered the meatball sub. It wasn't half-bad. Nothing stellar, but no real complaints. I ordered what was described as a "Chicken Parmesan" sub. What came out was dried, rotisserie chicken with a little bit of bland marinera sauce and mozzarella cheese that wasn't even fully melted. When I read "chicken parm," my assumption is that it's a breaded, fried chicken cutlet baked with marinera and cheese, then placed on a sub roll. Not whatever that was. So I really only had a few bites and couldn't bring myself to continue eating it. A person who appeared to be in management stopped by to ask if I wanted a box, and I kindly replied no thank you. I was somewhat expecting him to ask how the meal was since he clearly saw I didn't eat it. But nothing from him.
