When we arrived to the restaurant, there were only two other families inside. That should've been a sign as to what we should expect. The one waitress struggled to maintain the three tables with people. Drinks were not refilled in a timely fashion, even after the other tables left and we were the only ones left. Our waitress was trying to complete other cleaning tasks instead of checking on the tables. The food was subpar. The pizza was decent, but the pasta with Alfredo sauce tasted like it was from a jar. The wings were cooked well, but the hot sauce was awful, so we tried teriyaki, and that seemed like it was dumped straight from the Kikoman's bottle. The ranch was the best option. The inside of the restaurant is a mixture of booths and tables. There is a single stall restroom for both the men and the women. It is on the hallway on the right side of the restaurant with a slight ramp to get to the restroom area. I am thankful that I do not have to come to this town often because there are limited options on where to eat. And this should not be your top choice.

The entrees themselves were very tasty. My only complaint about the food itself was that the BYO was lacking in actual pasta, but had plenty of toppings and chicken. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious! We ordered this through DoorDash, it did take longer than expected but the food showed up hot and well cooked so I don't mind that. My boyfriend had the stuffed shells and they were so good. Everything we've ordered from here tastes fresh!

Meaning, the service matched the ambience and price point. The wait staff may actually have some experience or training in service above a diner. The food was good. Not great. The side salad with house made Italian dressing was fresh and the dressing was delicious! The bread sticks were homemade but chewy. Almost too chewy to eat. They were either old or left out too long. Main dish was the Seafood Mediterranean. Would liked to have had more than 2 pieces of shrimp in my dish and more than 2 scallops. The dish used more ratio of baby clams and muscles. Was served powdered Parmesan cheese like you get in a pizza parlor or grocery store spaghetti isle. And the dish lacked overall flavor but wasn't bad. Dessert was Tiramisu. It was good. The table next to me sent their plate back, didn't want it cooked longer and didn't want a replacement dish. Not sure what was going on there but the restaurant did offer choices to make it right. Also, the manager was going around asking how everyone's food was. Overall it's a good dining experience with good food. Management here wants you to have a good dining experience. I would like to go back to try more dishes and would recommend.

She was attentive, answered all of our questions about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations on the restaurant's most popular dishes. Our friends shared the lasagna, while my husband and I ordered the veal parmigiana and the rigatoni Bolognese. Every dish was beautifully prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The veal was tender, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful, and the lasagna earned rave reviews from our friends. The entire meal exceeded all four of our expectations. Great food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you're visiting the Pinehurst area, Lisi is well worth adding to your itinerary. Be sure to ask for Hannah. She made an already wonderful meal even better.

Adam was our host, server and bartender. Huge shout out to Adam, thank you for an amazing evening! He made us his house old fashioned and espresso martini, both perfectly mixed. He gave us recommendations for apps, for mains, and even for other restaurants we'd love in the area. He made the evening special all on his own. We started with salmon carpaccio. Wow! The most tender and thin pieces of salmon, topped with arugula and dressing. This dish is one that will be remembered for the long haul. Then a pesto mushroom homemade gnocchi, and a squid ink pasta with scallops, calamari and shrimp. Two outstanding dishes. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars, and no fault of their own, was the temperature inside. We went in the middle of August on a 90+ degree day with insane humidity. We walked inside and it was hot. They had fans running. I asked if there was an issue with their HVAC, and the manager told us it's out of their hands. It's their "established" owner who runs the show when it comes to building ordinance and temp. Sitting in the bar area with the air moving was perfectly comfortable. But it was a different story in the back room away from the fans and moving air, where we were first seated. If you're here in the heat of the summer, make sure to get the 5 star experience in the bar area. This is a non issue the rest of the year. Regardless, come and enjoy the 5 star food and 5 star service. You won't be disappointed!
