I always come here when I have something I want to pack and ship myself, that is an awkward size. Besides boxes, they also supply bubble wrap, butcher paper, and packing tape. So they've got you covered as far as getting your precious items ready to move or mail off somewhere. And if that wasn't enough, they also sell poly bags and gift boxes. I normally find parking on the street, in front of the store. Although they do offer a lot in the back for customers. My only critique of this place is that you can easily find yourself endlessly wandering the store looking for the perfect sized box without anyone offering you assistance. Place is a mess, but mess in a perfect way! They have got all kinds of boxes available for you to choose. I believe they actually have the best price too. Even if it's buying singles, or 100s, they are still cheaper by a bit. Since I have a store, that bit actually helped. If you buy lots, they help you put it in your car or they provide delivery for only $30!! This is a fantastic place. They have ANY kind of box you would need from moving boxes to a nice wedding gift box. Tape, packing peanuts, bubble wrap and wrapping paper too. Everything in the store is well labeled and easy to find on your own although the staff is helpful too. They have packed computer equipment for shipping across the country and they did an excellent job. Sometimes it's worth it to just have them take care of everything. Leave plenty of time because they are thorough and sometimes it takes a while to get it all together. Look here first and skip Office Depot. The only bad thing is that they do not ship FedEx. But the staff is friendly and will walk you through everythhing you may need or what would best suit the needs you have. They don't oversell you. You can buy individually or buy packages if you are moving. They have someone who can help you load your order in your car. This place is great. They have reasonable prices. Very helpful service. A boxes in almost countless combinations of LWH. The staff are pleasant and will package things well that require added support for shipping. I doubt I could ever give a box store a 5, just the thought of a box store that deserves 5* creeps me out a bit. The packaging may not have been perfect, but the workers definitely know boxes! They don't carry the newer air filled long bubble packs, so you'll either have to use large bubble wrap (my favorite for loud pops) or styrofoam (eww, ok ok, I won't comment on our landfills!). This place is great, didn't know there was a whole store dedicated to boxes. It's perfect for people who are constantly shipping stuff out. You can find the perfect size because they have soooo many options. They also have gift boxes and tape, etc. Pretty good prices too. Only reason I took a star off is because it's slightly messy and some boxes are hard to reach so have to constantly try to find an employee to get the higher up boxes. I ship a lot of stuff and Box City is a pretty great one-stop shop. Packing supplies are inexpensive, at least compared to the ripoff prices of your average office supply store. Good selection of packing tapes, mylar bags, bubble wrap, and peanuts in various quantities. The box selection is also really good. Usually I can find something pretty damn close to what I need. Decently well-organized, huge selection, reasonable prices that get better when you buy in bulk. Sometimes the folks that work here get overwhelmed with the customer load, but otherwise, they're really helpful. Love that I can call this place, rattle off dimensions of what I'm trying to pack, and immediately the employee on the phone can tell me what they have that's close to that size. read more

Whoa. Just left there and it's pretty impressive. Wall to wall boxes. I wish I knew about this place when I was a college student moving from place to place. They have all the extra things you would need for moving. I also saw at their counter that they had a suggested list/costs depending on what space you were moving from. While posing as a storefront operation, when you enter you find ceiling to floor boxes and a great selection of shipping a packaging supplies. The staff is attentive and provides help to locate your items. Parking on Colorado can be tight, but be aware that they have a huge parking lot in the rear with an entrance there. I initially made an online order, and I planned to have the items delivered. I changed my mind and decided to pick everything up myself. I emailed the business and had a confirmation of my request with in an hour. Then I received a second email informing me that the store I had switched to (closer to home) did not have my items in stock. I was assured that my items would be available by the following day. I called the next morning to confirm and I was able to get to Box City about ten minutes before closing--on a Friday. Everyone was still super nice...ready to get home for the weekend! However, my order was immediately pulled, I paid, and one of the gentlemen carried my items to my car and loaded them in. I was treated well, communication via email was timely and helpful, and the price was reasonable. What more can I ask for? read more
