    Beautiful job, Ballard's!
    Isobel L.

Ballard's did a wonderful job framing my slightly worn concert poster and concert ticket for posterity. When your nephew's band is on the same bill as Leon Russell, that is a moment to preserve. Somehow, the staff at Ballard's made the poster look brand new. The initial consultation helped me settle on a look that would fit both the poster and my home decor, without making me feel like the design-impaired person that I am. I found the price to be reasonable for the high-quality frame I received. Park in the Metro lot underneath for free!

I've gotten five pieces framed here in the past couple of months. Each one turned out great. I will never again buy a frame from a big box store--it just looks so much better done custom. These folks know what they're doing and will steer you in a direction that will best showcase your artwork.

I am so happy with my experience with Ballard's! I had a print framed and they were very easy to work with and super friendly. Can't recommend enough.

This is an update with some pics. Love this store, Aaron, Christa and team are consummate professionals. Pricing is reasonable/above average, great-quality work. Have had 9 pieces of art framed, different styles; very happy with the work. Turnaround time on average about two weeks. They are really nice and cool, too (Aaron and I always have excellent conversations about art!)

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge fan of Ballard's. I travel for work and always invest in a nice piece of art and this is the only place I would trust to frame my artwork. I have brought in a few very challenging and unique pieces, wether it be the shape, material or my vision for the piece and I'm always met with enthusiasm and a "let's do it" attitude. The finished product has always exceeded my expectations. I have been to both locations and am equally thrilled with both. I usually work with Aaron but I know the entire team has worked on my pieces and they are always so creative. The work is always meticulous and Aaron always completely understands what I want when I'm trying to get my ideas across. Every piece has been so spectacular. I am always impressed with the end result. They truly have great frame options, good pricing and a talented staff.

They wanted the same exact look and material as was used by a previous vendor. PPF not only found the same frame material, but they were able to perfectly replicate the mat board used for each frame. And the pricing? They beat our previous vendor by a couple grand. Can't complain at all about that. Only minor gripe is that ordering and billing is old school here. Invoices are hand written on NCR. Probably could use an upgrade in this regard. Would give customers a little peace of mind knowing your order isn't going to be lost. Other than that, would definitely recommend!

I found this hidden gem for framing, displaying and storing my collectible autographed jersey…read morecollection. 2 years ago, I had used the corporation "Framestore" for my first jersey to be framed. It was a pleasant experience, and the quality is top notch, but the cost to use Framestore was more than what i expected. I still had 3 more jerseys to get framed and planned to acquire more jerseys in the future to expand my collection. The cost to use Framestore wouldn't make any economic sense and was out of my budget. So, I went on yelp to search for a local nearest framing location. I was so happy to find Art N Frame Factory. They were nearby my home and from the few reviews they had were good reviews. Gave them a call and the kind Korean owner was pleasant on the phone, and he was able to frame jerseys (not all art framing stores work on jerseys displays and there is a premium cost due to the size, material and casing of jerseys. The price was fair, but he needed to see the size of the jersey and we needed to discuss and decide on materials. I easily scheduled an appointment, and we met at the time scheduled and i was done within 20 minutes. Since i had gone through the planning process with Framestore, i was already aware of the planning involved and where i can use lower, but quality materials to save on cost. Nonetheless, the total cost was much cheaper. i wont state the cost from framestore vs. art n frame because the designs and size are not an apples-to-apples comparison and would be unjust to framestore. i was happy with the turnaround time and pick up was nice and smooth. the finished product looked great for the price i paid. Ive had an Anthony Edwards, Matt Stafford and Justin Jefferson jersey framed here. I will be having Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Aaron Donald jerseys framed this month. Thank you Korean sir for your kindness and excellent service and work.

He seemed to take it personally and became hostile towards me when I told him my budget. Instead of being open to discussion or trying to work with my budget, he kept saying I wasn't listening to him and even challenged me to call every frame store in the area to see what they would say to my budget. I don't tolerate this type of treatment so I left. By the way, I went online to eBay, identified four frames that exactly matched my piece and ended up ordering one for less than $150ish (including tax and shipping). I installed it myself and it looks AMAZING. This is a unique frame that's 20x26 inches in gilded gold, about 3-4inches wide and came in the mail after just a few days. Framestore would have charged me 10x more, taken 2x longer, and subjected me to ridicule if I had them do the same job.

It took me some time to write this review, largely because the experience left me feeling…read moreembarrassed and disappointed, not just with the outcome, but with how I was treated throughout the process. I invested in a large-scale, editioned photographic print by a UK photographer I deeply admire. It was expensive, but incredibly meaningful to me, something I expected to treasure for the rest of my life. Because of its size and value, I wanted it framed properly, and I deliberately sought out professionals I believed I could trust. I knew this wouldn't be cheap, so I waited and saved specifically for this. The print arrived carefully packed from overseas. I didn't even open it myself. I contacted The Framestore ahead of time to confirm they could handle framing at this scale and was told confidently that they could. An appointment was booked. At the store, we met Bryan, who was friendly, enthusiastic, and reassuring. I have very little framing knowledge, so I leaned fully on his expertise and followed his guidance on every decision. What's important to say here is that pricing was never discussed at any point during the process, not once. The print was unwrapped during the appointment, which made the situation feel irreversible. At the very end, Bryan presented a final number and asked, bluntly, "How do you want to pay?" When I expressed shock, the response was simply, "It will be beautiful." I felt put on the spot, pressured, and honestly foolish, but at that point, backing out didn't feel like a real option. I accept responsibility for not asking about pricing sooner, but the lack of transparency felt deeply uncomfortable. Still, I tried to move forward with optimism, trusting that the cost would at least result in museum-quality work. When I finally got the piece home, that optimism collapsed. The print was covered in visible ripples, creases, and pinch marks, as if it had been mounted on crumpled paper and handled roughly. It looked genuinely awful. The corners of the frame were also poorly joined and visibly open. I contacted Bryan immediately. He was calm, almost unsurprised. Photos were taken. I later received a voicemail saying they saw no issue. That response was frankly shocking. Emails went unanswered. Phone calls went unreturned. I eventually had to stay on the phone with Bryan while re-sending images just to get acknowledgment, and even then, there was no accountability, no apology, and no ownership of the damage. I returned the piece to the store. Again, everyone was pleasant, but no one could explain what had happened. Weeks passed. After repeated follow-ups on my end, I was told they would re-frame it and that vacuum mounting could fix the damage. At this stage, the store had had my print for nearly three months. Still, no apology. No discount. No recognition of the distress or inconvenience. When I collected the piece again, it was improved, but far from resolved. There were still visible ripples, a noticeable smudge or finger prints on the inside of the glazing and surface issues. I sent photos. I called. I followed up repeatedly. Eventually, after months of trying, I gave up. This experience started with excitement and trust. I was happy to pay a fair price for expert craftsmanship. Instead, I feel taken advantage of, dismissed, and made to feel stupid for trusting professionals to guide me. I'm left with a damaged print, a poorly finished frame, and something I now feel a bit embarrassed to display. I will likely have to save up again to have the piece de-framed and fixed elsewhere. The saddest part is that every time I look at it, I'm reminded not of the art but of how badly this experience went.

I had a great experience with Framed in Montrose…read more On short notice, my sisters tasked me with getting a photo of one of our younger brothers enlarged to 10x14 and framed. Sadly this framed photo was needed for his funeral. My wife and I met with Adam and explained our situation. We had one week before the services. Adam understood quickly our needs and promptly found the gold colored wood and matting that worked with the photo we had with us. That photo was on my phone. We selected the frame and matting and placed our order. For the actual photo, he sent us a few blocks away to Color Zone to meet with Garo for the enlargement of the photo. Within two hours, Garo had the enlarged photo that we then took to Adam. He promised us the framed photo in four days and actually had it ready in three. The framed photo was beautiful and was displayed prominently at his memorial services. Thank you Adam and his father, Frank for their kindness during a difficult time for me and my family.
