I never write reviews anymore but I just have to say it was a wonderful experience using this framer! I feel he is such an artist. I wanted to do something special for Father's Day for my husband and this gentleman (I regret the fact I can't remember his name) helped me be really thoughtful; he was helpful in the artistry while also helping me keep my costs down. I have used Nova Frames several times. They are first class. I broke an old antique type frame of a picture my daughter made for me ( she did the frame too) and I was so upset. They did not have the frame in stock- old picture but they recreated it and it is perfect, my daughter will not know. I would entrust them with all my work. read more

My latest visit to Nova was the other day and I told the owner, "Hey, you have great Yelp reviews, but only a few for the many years you've been in this business! Don't you ask your happy customers to share their satisfaction on Yelp and with referrals??" He said, "Yeah, I should but I don't. You're right." Then, I realized I don't "Yelp" at all so maybe I should "put my money where my mouth is!" So I'm starting now beginning with Nova Picture Framing & Gallery in Pasadena. What you've read in the other reviews before mine about NOVA I can only 2nd and agree with! Hector the owner is local and has 30+ yrs experience in Pasadena, including some time working for the Tournament of Roses via his work with another company. I've seen & experienced his work and I can tell you it's 5star but with very competitive pricing. He's not a big operation, but he's big in quality! And, did I mention he's also an artist - a painter - himself? Yeah, so he has deep understanding of his art work. We needed to mount 4 paintings and Michael's was asking for $200 just for the smallest one, Hector charged less than $50 for that smallest one and gave us a great discount for the rest. He did an amazing job and had them even before then we expected. Highly recommended. read more

When you go in you're basically walking into a gallery but once you see the desk you realize it's a business and that's really nice to see. Hector the owner is a really respectful and knowledgeable person about art in general and will help you the best that he can, since he two is an experienced artist.
