Good with estimates or calling if there is a supplier issue. I'll be going back with two more Christensen prints to get done since I found some more space on my wall. The owner is good at communicating and helping make sure you are happy. It's good to feel like they care about you. Especially when you are trusting them with your art. It's good to feel the respect. If I could give negative stars, I would. I had two large pieces framed here for several hundred dollars each about 4-5 years ago. I came home to one piece on the floor (thank god the glass didn't break) and the second piece is coming apart at the corner. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of quality from this shop. I gave her dimensions of the frame I purchased in centimeters because I was reading exactly what the label said, She said and I quote " What ?! we don't do centimeters- you've got to convert that yourself to inches" with an attitude. It took me 3 weeks to pick it up because I wanted to make sure I didn't have Covid being exposed to someone! You promised the images would be floating and when you look at it as many have including a new framer I found who analyzed it-it doesn't appear to be floating and you charged a ton of money to individually float each cartoon. Of course I have found another framer who is far better, less expensive and super sweet to work with willing to re-do all of your work on the last mess. Best of luck to you Frank. read more

Yes, it will be a bit more expensive than Aaron Brothers, which is now defunct anyway, but you're getting work done by expert craftsman here. I used to work at a gallery in New York and was responsible for having things framed, so I feel somewhat knowledgable on this subject. FramePros has a wide variety of styles and materials so you can spend less or more based on the framing materials, glass, and matting you choose. They will give you advice on matt color, spacing, etc., but remember it's your money, so if you want to do something less traditional that they may not think looks right, but you really like it, just say that's what you want. So many things to appreciate about this long standing framing business in Glendale. The owner, Frank, was very hands on and helped talk us through the process of framing a piece of art that wasn't the typical framing job. We've been the people that have just done the "quick frame" places in the past but this time we needed a better quality job for the more expensive pieces we wanted to frame. We stumbled in here and now we can't go back to a basic frame shop. If you're looking for actual pros, not hacks, then this will be the only shop you frequent for all your framing needs! The quality was outstanding and the prices are more than fair. PS - if you don't believe the good reviews then just know you don't stay in business for a handful of decades if you suck, so clearly Frank doesn't! I had two special art prints in need of custom framing. When I went in, Frank was quick to help me select the right frames and glass for them. He was easy to talk with and very friendly! Definitely has an eye for borders that bring out the best of the subject they're encompassing. Since the shop had a lot of other orders at the time, the estimated wait for my frames was a little over two weeks. Cool by me- I wasn't in a rush. I got a call to pick up one of the framed prints a few days after the estimated finish date. It looked grand! Unfortunately, the frame for the other print was no longer in production, so I needed to select a different one. Thankfully, there were PLENTY of nice options to choose from (and the delightful Debbie helped me decide which looked best). She promised they would get the second print framed right away, since I had already waited a while. A few days later and I had the finished frame in my hands!
