This is a really good local business for framed artwork. I was thinking about getting a huge poster framed at Michael's or Hobby Lobby but decided to look on Yelp first, and this place came up. I'm so glad I checked it out! They framed a large poster for me for about $180 with plexiglass. Other places would charge $250+ for the same thing. When you go up, it's a very nondescript building. I wasn't sure I was in the right place. But sure enough, once I went inside and said "hello!", somebody came up to help me. They were pretty quick and helped me put it in my car. I recommend them and would use them again for future art framing. read more

Drove there. Door locked, no sign and no answer at the phone number. Pretty sure they are permanently closed.

Amazing Work! I had 2 paintings I've saved for 20 years, made from wood and natives from Mexico.. The Belle Arte team took my 2 paintings and framed them with the right frame, along with the right colored background. They took care of my art. Priced below many others and provided my paintings as they committed too.. Would always recommend!.. Thanks! read more

Belle Arte - One of the pictures - Framing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

For years I've been taking artwork here for framing and have never been disappointed. They work with your framing ideas and have a good selection of options. From a simple yet classic black frame to a two tone mat board rustic frame. They even stretch canvases. They can basically do it all and if they can't they will let you know. No games... they don't want to waste your time. Friendly staff and great quality for good prices. Will continue to recommend people here. read more

I am SO happy Belle Arte was recommended to me by a friend and this is my go to place for future framing! Amazing and beautiful work. Customer service is top notch. They are fast, efficient and extremely affordable. Long story short, I bought 2 vintage posters in Sri Lanka and they were quite large (24 x 36), 2 places quoted me $300 each to frame. I almost gave up on framing them because that was very expensive considering I spent $35 for both of the posters. Belle Arte quoted me LESS than $300 for both, that is incredible. Not only were they affordable but customer service was amazing. They were patient with showing me framing options, helped carry my pieces to my car and load it and had a quick turn around. I would give 10 stars if possible. The 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Parking is easy, both times I went I found a spot directly in front. read more

This is one of the hidden gems that LA has when it comes to framing and true personal customer service. Thomas and staff are always great to speak with and Nelson is an amazing artist and framer; he's a true artist with in depth knowledge on how to match up your pieces of art in an aesthetic way, including frame and color schemes. Thank you for alway having an artists best interest in mind when it comes to the artistic value of framing and color schemes. This makes all the difference in the final piece of the puzzle. read more

Belle Arte - Thank you Lanna and Thomas with framing idea on my grandma's art piece! Great choice on the rustic gold bamboos!!! Love it! - Framing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Short Review: Local wholesaler of framing who does services for walk-ins as well. Everything's a custom job and they aim to please and satisfy. I was very impressed with their work. Ask for Lanna - the Creative Director. Long Review: On a referral from a friend, I called these guys to frame the broom we jumped after we said our wedding vows. They suggested a shadow box to properly display it on the wall, and even had a sample of a guitar they'd done that for in the past. Sounded good to me, so they helped me pick out colors, fabrics, textures, etc., to make it look great. I figured it would take them a week or two to complete the job, but they did it in only one day! I was very impressed with the speed of service and with the final product. I highly suggest them; great local business. They go by the name of Impact International for their wholesaling business, and Belle Arte for their consumer business. read more

Outstanding service. Great pricing. Quick turnaround. Friendly staff. The biggest hidden gem in Los Angeles! Thank you Thomas!!! read more

I didn't have an appointment but dropped by in the early afternoon and they were able to help me super quickly. I'm usually someone who gets IKEA frames and makes it work (even if they're not the right size oops), but I was gifted a piece by a friend that deserved better. Nelson was super helpful and helped me to pick out a frame much faster than I ever expected. I've yet to see the finished product (will update this then), but based on customer service and price alone, I feel like I'll be coming back again and again! read more

I've had a number of things framed at Belle Arte and every time I've been I've received friendly service, quality work at rather quick turnaround times. Highly recommend. Support them! read more

Superb. Kind people who really know their job, charging prices that beat anyone in the Los Angeles area. Who could ask for more?

I've had a lot of bad framing experiences in the past- low quality work, surprise charges, absurd prices, long wait times...but as of today that's all behind me. I'm so stoked to have stumbled upon Belle Arte- they're so kind, patient, and accommodating, and the prices actually make sense! Bless their hearts! Now that I've found a place I can trust, I'm gonna be in there all the time. read more

Framed a painting by my uncle. Loved the advice given and nothing's wrong with it a few years later. No longer in LA but I'm hoping to visit again to get more stuff framed. read more

I am an oil painter and have been using Belle Arte for the past couple of years, and I love them! First of all, the prices are GREAT, which is good for me because frame prices can become astronomical when you are showing your paintings regularly. They have a very good selection of frames, and perhaps most importantly, I can trust them to get my pieces framed in the time that they say they will be done--or sometimes sooner. More than once they have gone above and beyond to help me out with getting pieces framed quickly. Everyone I have met has been very friendly and helpful, especially Lana and Chuck! If you give them a try, you will probably be going back for a long time! read more

Gorgeous framing options. Extraordinarily affordable!! More surprisingly: I picked up my framed pieces a mere 24 hours after dropping them off (after which I left several more pieces to be framed). Most surprisingly: I found a strange frame that oddly was a perfect fit for an original piece I took there. Sent the photo to the artist and he agreed!! I moved to this side of town and am happy to support a local NELA business that's been around for a long time. And I've finally framed all the prints that have been collecting dust in my closet! Wonderful business--I could not recommend them more. read more

So happy with the shadowbox framing. It came out beautifully. Thank you for the wonderful customer service and the quick turn around. Much appreciated! read more

Tons of options for frames and friendly service. After an experience at another nearby framer I was braced for a 2 month turnaround, but Belle Arte was able to get my pieces turned around within a week. I was very pleased with their work. Highly recommended! read more

As a gallery owner, our framing needs are an important part of the investment that we do for the artworks we offer. For several months now, we have been working with Belle Arte and we are very satisfied. The quality of the framing, the customer service, the turn around time and the prices are exceptional. They are always ready to work on special framing projects. They are also amazing at stretching and framing large scale paintings. Love them and highly recommend them! read more

I love this place! Would've never found it if not for yelp. Great prices done in a reasonable timeframe. I won't go anywhere else anymore!

I am so impressed with this place. I was invited to have one of my drawings in an art show, and needed to get it framed. The piece is a graphite (black and white) drawing of cherries. The man who helped me first asked me what style I was looking for, and I said simple. He started with a black frame and white mat, but I wanted to add some color with a second mat in red. He pulled the two red mats he had in the display, but neither provided the pop of color I was hoping for. But I didn't have to say anything, he asked me to wait while he looked for a different red mat that he knew they had. That one was the perfect red. Then he asked me to wait another minute, rummaged around a bit and pulled out this frame sample that was a beautiful red with an inlay detail. Absolutely stunning! And the piece was ready in just a week. I will definitely be using them again. read more

Love this place, great selection, quick turnaround, competitive prices. Bonus points for getting to spend my gentrification dollars locally!

Very impressive. These guys have a huge framing shop located near the Lincoln Heights Metro station in North East Los Angeles/Lincoln Heights. I had an art print to be framed, and they did it overnight for a very low price. The work was flawless and impeccable. If you want an incredible and affordable framer this is the place. If you're interested in beautiful art prints this is also the place. We moved into a 110 year old craftsman home and this has been THE spot to find perfect artwork, and frame it. Lanna and Chuck run a great family business and couldn't be nicer or have better taste. I've never had anything properly framed, but recently invested in some art and knew it was time to be a grown up about it. Lanna spent over an hour picking out and trying out frames against my different art with me. She has an amazing eye, warm heart, and was supportive and gently guided my choices. The selection of frames is so unique - from metallic, to classic, to wooden, as are the choices of how to frame it -- from tight, to with panel, to with glass and space behind it. I've never seen my art look better! And the prices were a lot less than I expected and had heard from friends who went elsewhere. Highly recommend! read more

I swear by Belle Arte. I love the idea of custom framing but most of the hipster places in Echo park, Pasadena, Highland Park, downtown, etc are way out of my budget. I've tried about 7 different spots over the years and Belle Arte beats all with pricing and service. A nice, quality custom frame at Belle Arte is pretty much the same price as a cheap, particle board frame at Aaron Brothers that gets scratched or breaks as soon as you take off the shrink wrap. read more
