If you want the absolute best in terms of selection choices (truly extensive) and impeccable quality of work, Alan Jeffries is THE place to go. I've gone there for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. It is literally museum quality work. In addition, they are extremely pleasant to work with and very efficient. They truly care about the quality of their work and the customer's satisfaction. In our world as it is today, they are a wonderful oasis and are amongst a very few businesses that I genuinely feel love for. read more

Truly an excellent experience! Recently had the team frame a canvas print I gave them and it came out beautifully! The service and value was well worth it! Turn around time was approximately 3 weeks. Thanks so much! read more

10/10!!!! I could not have asked for a more enjoyable framing experience! Everyone at the studio was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Very fairly priced and only took one month to complete. I love how both pieces turned out (one regular frame and one shadow box) and I will absolutely be a repeat customer of this family owned store! read more

I can't recommend this framing store enough. From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help bring my piece to life. Their attention to detail is next-level--they took the time to understand the artwork, suggested frame and mat options I wouldn't have thought of, and clearly cared about getting everything just right. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The final result exceeded my expectations: clean, precise, and beautifully finished. You can tell they take real pride in their work. On top of that, the turnaround time was faster than expected, communication was clear throughout the process, and pricing felt fair for the quality you're getting. If you're looking for expert guidance, high-quality materials, and a team that actually treats your art with respect, this is the place. I'll definitely be coming back for future projects. read more

Once again another master piece from Allan Jeffries. I couldn't help but bring a portrait of someone very dear to me that passed away. This was the only way to celebrate her life. I had my consultation with Sean and once again he brought my portrait of Jan to life. The color choice of the frame "patina" (I love it). Seeing the final creation brought me to tears. Thank you again for sealing this portrait for the world to see. My beloved JAN J. KACENA Very grateful for your services and expertise. Mark read more

It has taken me a while to write this review because I get a bit emotional reflecting on how great of an experience I had here at Alleen Jeffries. I came in with some artwork that is precious to me and an "idea" of what I wanted the framing to look like. What I appreciate most is the honesty and time the team took to talk me through and find the PERFECT framing for each piece. The team had some very creative and artsy ideas for framing. When one person was stuck on how to achieve a look, they talked out solutions with others. They also saw how nervous I was stepping aside from the "traditional" museum framing, and the team took their time talking me through reasonings for looking at contemporary and fresh framing options. The team was clear about the time frame for work to be done and pricing. When I picked up the artwork, I was shown each piece and cried on cue. Everything was done so well! They then re-wrapped the art, talked me through properly hanging it (each framed artwork came with a good hook), and packed up my car. Allen Jeffries is my recommendation to anyone who needs high-quality framing done. The energy, the care, the extensive variety, and the price-all great. There's even a parking lot in the back, but plenty of street parking as well. Thank you so much, Luis Miguel, Sean (who I quote often "imperfections are character") and Jen for providing a female eye and talking me through the meaning of framing. read more

Allan Jeffries Framing - Amazing service. Highly recommend! - Framing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This review is long overdue, I've been coming to this location to have artworks framed for several years now. I first went around October of 2019 and have come in every so often since then to have items framed. I've probably had around 15 pieces framed. I have also dealt with several different staff members. Each and every time I come here I am overwhelmingly pleased with my experience. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They are also all clearly passionate about their work and what they do. I wouldn't consider getting something framed anywhere else. One more thing: Do yourself a favor and splurge for the anti-reflective museum glass or plexiglass. The ability to view the piece without a glare from light is so special. It often looks like there is no glass there at all. It's really incredible and it offers the best protection against UV light. read more

Here's yet another rave review and of course 5 stars. Well, there's not too much I can say except this place is totally awesome. I really hate giving bad reviews but after going to another framer for other pictures to be framed. Months later I realized I have been ripped off by Allan Jeffries framing. I paid over $600 for custom framing for my photo booth pictures of my family. I wanted them to all be the same size frame wise so that's why I decided to go custom expecting better quality. 1. They didn't make a custom placemat how I asked. They just glued my pictures to cardboard and made simple cheap material standard 8x10" frames. $600! Ridiculous read more

I am beyond happy with the work Allan Jeffries Framing did for me. I had 2 pieces custom framed, and Sean was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with selecting the best matting and framing to highlight both pieces. It did take a few weeks for the work to be done, but they had warned me of that when I dropped them off, and the finished product was well worth the wait. I highly recommend, and I will definitely be back when I need more prints framed! read more

You get what you pay for! The service in this business is INCREDIBLE. I recently visited this place to get a picture of my fur baby framed. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, despite how many customers were in the store. Sean was incredibly helpful with my project and listened to my vision. He presented me with the perfect materials and now I have a furrever masterpiece of my baby girl, who recently passed. Sean was compassionate & provided spectacular service! When I went to pick up my order, same excellent customer service. Immediately greeted & assured someone would be right with me. I was helped promptly despite how busy it was. The employees in the place really know what they are doing! Highly recommend! read more

I have been to Alan Jeffries several times and now have a few more pieces of art I need framed. I get overwhelmed with so many choices, but the person that helped me the first time(I think his name was Derek). He gave me 3 choices for each piece of art and although I liked all of them, there was always one I liked more. I was very happy with the end result and get compliments often. This is the only frame store I use. I have had good experiences with all the people that work there. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the art of framing. read more

I bought this piece at an estate sale and I love what is says, though I hated the frame. I didn't like the gold accent and I especially hated how it cut off some of the design on the top. I knew I wanted to reframe but I didn't want to buy something generic at Target, so I decided to walk into Allan Jeffries. I didn't know anything about framing, but I knew it was detailed and very artistic work and was expecting a pretty high price point but also hoping they could work with my budget. Sean completely swept me away! His communication, patience, understanding, and detail to helping me made me feel like I came to the right place. He gave me different options but non in which overwhelmed me and I knew he wanted the best for me. We agreed on the final picks and I couldn't be anymore happier with both the outcome and price This estate sale gem is now a forever treasure! read more

Sent 3 pictures to be custom framed...after 1 week picture framed is wilting like a pleated skirt. I paid almost $300 for a 2 week process they wanted me to wait 30 days. The timeline is unacceptable. The Price is unacceptable especially with the poor quality work on my memorial Photos. I wanted to support the small local business, instead I found a business that was on life support. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else. Now adays the dollar is more precious than ever. I feel totally ripped off. Called, they refused to even view their mistakes. Avoid the Drama... research and move on! read more

Phenomenal service. I've gotten two paintings that I love framed here and both times the framing perfectly matched and elevated the paintings to make the artwork shine. I recently bought an authentic newspaper from WW2 announcing the end of the war, and wanted to have it framed. After doing some research I knew Allan Jeffries was the best option based on user reviews and I was not disappointed. Fortuitously, when I first stopped in to discuss having my item framed, it was Allan himself who helped me. He explained that he too used to have quite a collection of old / vintage newspapers and other historical items so I immediately knew I came to the right place. Allan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and even provided a discount for the work. I was so pleased with the experience I brought in a few more posters and items to have framed by them. PRO TIP: mention the deal on Yelp. Some of the employees won't immediately offer (or even know about it), so be sure to mention it. I'm beyond happy with the quality of the work. I'm also glad to see they are taking every precaution necessary to make sure the employees and customers are safe. Everyone needs to wear a mask, they provide gloves, hand sanitizers, limit the number of customers in the store at any given time, etc. They are now even doing contact tracing. A+ for your incredible service, Allan & team. Keep up the amazing work. read more
