Had some prints framed and were extremely happy with results- professional, knowledgeable and helpful in offering frame suggestions- returned to have some kids art mounted and treated it the same as our previous prints. I realize I recommend this business, and yet have not written a review. I'm a watercolor painter, and have had several of my paintings framed here for shows and for collectors. There isn't a huge selection, but the quality of materials and the work is great. The prices are reasonable and comparatively low. Armando and the other people there are nice humans, and have been very responsive to my requests. read more

After doing some research, decided to take my Kobe and Steph Curry jersey here to get framed. Customer service was exceptional and the framing was great! Have gone back to do 2 more jerseys! Would highly recommend read more

Needed to update some pictures with pH neutral mats and UV glass. Good turn around time. Good value for the money.

A framed Tommy Lasorda jersey, which was mounted by BCF, had fallen off the wall of my office and was severely damaged. I took the destroyed framed jersey back to BCF and they replaced the frame and remounted the jersey in 24 hrs. It looks perfect! And they did all this work with NO CHARGE to me!! The shop is very clean and beautifully laid out with a gorgeous antique Baldwin piano in the front, all set up for recitals. Fundraisers for worthy causes are held in that space. Hats off to Michael and Armando for their fine work and for their admirable community outreach. I will definitely bring all my future framing work to this notable establishment. read more

Completely satisfied with assistance to upgrade my much loved frame for a nominal charge. I will return and recommend their services of framing needs. read more

I would like to give Armando a 10 stars review! One month ago I got a painting from Argentina. I found his store through Yelp. Checked in and got 10% discount. Armando did a great job on my over sized painting with a VERY reasonable price. He could provide pickup and delivery service for over sized artwork if needed. I requested delivery service as my car is too small to fit this painting. $45 from Alhambra to Pasadena. I am very satisfied with his work. Thank you Armando, I will come back again! 购买了一副超大尺寸的画，在Yelp上找到这家裱画的店，Armando因为我Check in Yelp给打了9折，很满意他制作的速度和实惠的价格，而且还能提供送货服务。100%五星好评！ read more

Needed to custom frame an important art piece and I was so happy to find this business. They have great communication, friendly and just all around great customer service. They were within the time they quoted me it would be done and shit me a quick text when it was ready to pick up. I appreciate the care they took with my art. read more

Dropped off a print to be framed, started off great with friendly service and a simple frame order. Was told it would take 10 days. I called back after 10 days, 2 weeks and 3 weeks. Each time they said they were working on it, had no update, and that they would call me when its done. Well it has now been about 1 and 1/2 months with no update and still waiting for my order that was fully paid. Incredibly disappointing. read more

I found this place from Yelp and it's definitely a case gone bad. None of the expectations were met. 2-3 weeks became 2 months without any update from their end. They changed the frame from what I chose without my consent or any communication. I found out they used different frame when I went to pick them up. After 3 months in my wall, one of the frame is falling apart. I picked this place because of high reviews and most affordable price. But at the end, I paid approximately $850 for the job that's falling apart. read more

Do not have the customized yet but so far communication with the item has been Fantastic! Again, my item is a custom piano to be frame for a special client. Most likely will provide another review for the results. read more

So I have been looking for a frame shop to frame a group photo of my co-workers and myself. The photo was professionally done, but I wasn't excited about his frame options. After months of looking through Yelp reviews, I found this place close to where I live. He was open during the pandemic and kept social distancing throughout the meeting (with masks). His shop is stylish and impeccably clean (for a working craftsman space). I had kind of an idea what I was looking for, so we quickly went over ideas and possibilities. Agreed to a frame and format in minutes. Super simple. Price was very nice for something professionally done. He got it done in a few days and I'm very happy with the results. I knew it would turn out great, but it's another thing to see it! Thank you for a great frame project that went right from the shop, to my living room. read more

Like many others I found Best Custom Frame on Yelp, wanted to get some pieces framed for my work from home office, and these are beautifully done. A nice frame really makes two newspapers look like art and the other pieces were awesome. Left the Time magazine cover the day I picked up the other two pieces and he had this one done that same day as well. 10/10 recommend. read more

Owner is very nice on the phone, I went down there to get my Kobe Bryant print framed up. Although the price was very steep compared to other places, but since he's such a sweet talker I decided to let him do it. It was promised to be done in two weeks, I payed him already, two weeks come by, no call, no follow up, and it's not done yet when I call them. I waited another two weeks and it is still not done. I think this place is very unprofessional, I have yet to get my artwork framed, so hopefully this review will get it done faster. read more

I walked into this cute gallery in hopes that someone would help me frame some art work that i had in storage since my early college days. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and the reassurance that i was at the right place for the job i needed done, and he was correct. Til now, Armando amazes me with his work ethic, level of professionalism and high quality craftsmanship. No job is too big nor too small for him. Im glad to have discovered this hidden gem in my community. This is by far my forever shop! read more

Armando hands down has the best customer service and is very accommodating! The prices are fair and his work is exquisite!

When I purchased a poster, I decided to get it framed due to its age of 30 years plus it was of the iconic artist, Prince. I took it in on a Saturday and before I knew it I received a text on Monday that it was already finished. It is a 22"x36" poster & it is framed beautifully! Best Custom Frame is a very professional place that is a wonderful hidden gem in Alhambra. The spot looks like a gallery with all the beautiful framed photos. I highly recommend if you're looking for an framing studio to get your pictures framed professionally. read more

Well what can I say..... I was coming here before this master took over from the previous owner. I'm a very particular person with particular taste. I've had 3 family heirlooms that to me are priceless. One of which is an original photograph of my great grandfather circa San Francisco 1918. I've had this tucked away since 1995 and thought who better than Armando. I love to come in with ideas but just as well I love to hear Armandos expert opinion. He takes my ideas and only makes them better . His customer service, class and etiquette are hands down above anyone else. Fabricating custom frames is an art and Armando has the patience and touch for it. If you want to know the price all I have to say is that for the quality of work he does is well worth it and beyond. Take it from me don't go anywhere else you're wasting your time read more

I lucked out: I found this amazing place on Yelp and not only did it have the highest ratings, it's the closest to my house! Armando was super nice, understood what I wanted and set me up with a beautiful mat and frame for a digital print. And it was ready in no time. The price was right and the results: perfect. I showed a photo of the finished piece to a friend who said, "I want that for my house!" (Too bad for him, it's spoken for.) I give Best Custom Frame all the thumbs up if you want to decorate with gorgeous pieces of art, done right. read more

Getting ready for a dinner party, I discovered at the last minute that a print had escaped the matting and dropped down two inches. Not a pretty sight. Meredith and another man came to the rescue while I waited. This is what is known as customer service and why I will come back again! I appreciated that they used the plastic coated hanging wire. It's the little details that allow you to know that they care about their product. read more

I haven't personally gotten a custom frame but I've seen the work that was done for my friend who had a bunch of Kobe photos framed and I can say that the quality and workmanship on the frames were top notch. They all were handmade and consistent with each other. Although the build quality was very consistent you could tell the wood frames were handmade by their small imperfections that you are looking for. read more

I finally decided to take some art I've had rolled up in tubes for a long time to get framed. I found Best custom Frame on yelp and since it's close to mystic house I stopped by with the prints to see what they could do. The owner was very friendly and knew exactly what I had envisioned for each piece and even gave recommendations as to what would look best. Even better was he was able to work within my budget for a fairly large custom piece w/o sacrificing what would look best for the art. Everything was done very quickly and I'm very happy with the results. I plan on taking more art I've been meaning to get framed here soon. Highly recommended. read more
