Excellent work and craftsmanship by this little shop. I had an annual work-related event that called for about 20 or so large picture frames. They wanted the same exact look and material as was used by a previous vendor. PPF not only found the same frame material, but they were able to perfectly replicate the mat board used for each frame. And the pricing? They beat our previous vendor by a couple grand. Can't complain at all about that. Only minor gripe is that ordering and billing is old school here. Invoices are hand written on NCR. Probably could use an upgrade in this regard. Would give customers a little peace of mind knowing your order isn't going to be lost. Other than that, would definitely recommend! read more

Here's the situation. I had a photograph that I recently had enlarged to place on an easel at my wife's upcoming memorial. They also have good quality glass and plexi to ensure my artwork has the best UV protection. I had them make a really big frame for my Nara (60x70) and it turned out incredible. Great framing job and customer service. I got 5 works framed ranging from small drawings to a large poster. I have worked with other frame shops in the past, and their prices have simply gone up too much for me to return. After calling a number of new-to-me frame shops for appx. quotes for maple or other natural wood frames (and even bringing the work into one of them, only to leave once I learned that the given quote doubled because it was only for the cheapest metal frames), I found Pasadena Picture Framing. I'm happy with their job done and with the pricing! Chris also went above and beyond for framing the one poster I brought in. Chris saw that it had a small crease in it, and so he took it upon himself to hunt down and purchase another one before framing! -And at no extra charge. The poster was from a small shop up north in the eastern Sierras. Chris found it and called the shop to get a replacement delivered. I didn't even find this out until I picked up the finished pieces. Chris and his team did a great job with our framing project, which required them to handcut a mat for 59 photos and frame them to our particular aesthetic preferences. He was really able to take our initial vision and make it a reality, and he walked us through a lot of the finer points we didn't know about while completing the project (e.g., type of frame, type of glass, plaque choice.) We were really stressed about making a two-week deadline, but Chris said it was no problem at all and accomplished the project with ease before then.
