Very kind staff! Quick to respond. Lots of breakfast choices! I was so happy they had no problem making me exactly what I wanted. It's quite cozy.

I was in town on business and my battery died. Rather than wait at Brodie's to get a new battery, I decided to walk down to the cafe to get some lunch. The interior looks like nothing more than an old Denny's and honestly, I might have walked out if I wasn't stranded. I am happy to say, my first impression was wrong. I ordered iced tea and the Jalapeño burger with fries. The ice tea is fresh brewed and super yummy. I'm gonna regret having 4 glasses of tea before my 5 hour drive home. The jalapeño was served whole atop the burger, toreado-style and was nice and spicy. The fries were battered fries and also super yummy. The ranch dip for the fries was perfect. Last but not least, the service. The staff was attentive but that's not what caught my attention. It's clear this is a spot for the locals because the gal behind the counter seemed to know everyone's name and she was super sweet. I would definitely be a regular customer here if I didn't live 5 hours away. Thank you for a nice spot to wait out my repairs and for a super yummy lunch!

Great breakfast and lunch spot! I came by with my boyfriend who loves this place when he's working nearby. It's a family owned and operated business and they are very dedicated to the locals they serve. It's very admirable and hard to find, pretty awesome! They have a lot of options for lunch like the beautiful salad he ordered to sandwiches soup and hamburgers. He ordered the Chef Salad ($13) plus shrimp +($3). I ordered hamburger ($9) with side salad (+$1). I love that my salad base was "real" lettuce, hand shredded, not the pre bagged stuff. The patty for my hamburger was hand formed not a frozen disc. BFs salad was piled with lots of meat and cheese, but also beautiful vegetables. I feel like they make meals for you with care: the intention that you should leave full and happy. Definitely recommend! I would love to try breakfast here! COVID: they are totally following all regulations to provide the safest experience for you. All seating is outside on the back parking lot as well.

I was visiting from Texas and everything here was delicious, I will definitely be returning. A lot of food and great prices. All the wait staff was super nice and everyone's plate was left clean. Wish we had one of theses back home. Everything was made from scratch.

However I did have breakfast and I wasn't too happy with that. She told me how the bill is presented which after the explanation it made sense. But here's the issue I had. The waitress Veronica came up and said hello. She didn't smile, nice but lacking personality for waitressing I left her a good tip only because I know the tips are what they survive on I waitressed for many years So I can tell a really good one from a fair one to a bad one I had other waitresses there before that were exceptional!! Anyway.... I told her I wanted decaf and she said it would take five minutes. Well I knew it would take longer than that So that's okay But she took my order for bacon eggs and potatoes and toast That came quickly not delivered by her at all. Some guy and my coffee still wasn't ready I would have liked to had my coffee to drink I was halfway through my bacon and eggs before coffee came The potatoes were old and greasy. I told the guy and waved him over But then Veronica saw me flagging him over She told me my options and said that the pancakes would be $3.00 extra. I really don't get that? So big disappointment on the breakfast. I told Ashley I was going to leave a review, a good one, but that is because she was a great bartender. But the other experience was awful And the owner would definitely recognize me if I saw him. I drive all the way from Vacaville and when he first opened I put great reviews on Facebook for him The French dips there are delicious and that's what I should have ordered It's the first thing I ordered the first time I ate there and if I go back that's what I will order And if Veronica waits on me she will get another $5 tip and hopefully she will smile next time Thank you Ashley for your fine service Diane B

Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekends, especially if you have 5 or more people. $20 Chicken Fried Steak is about 2000 calories worth of food, a great value, and a great meal! The Chicken Fried Steak is big, thick, and juicy, with a very thick crispy breading that stays crunchy, even while doused in the rich and creamy sausage loaded gravy(you can ask for it on the side). I guestimate it's somewhere around 8-10oz of meaty beef in there. The hashbrowns are potato perfection, very, crispy and buttery! And you get two eggs of your style, and giant housemade warm buttery biscuit. This is a lot of big, fat, tasty America all on one plate...it's an epic, fatty, sodium, and calorie loaded meal! $20.00 Chicken-N-Waffles...a full half bird of deep fried juicy happiness: Breast, thigh, wing and leg, all thick battered crispiness sealing in the juicy, tender succulent chicken meat within. What I ordered: The Sonoma County burrito for $19. You're given the choice between bacon, sausage or chorizo for your protein. I went with the sausage and for my side I got a fruit cup for an additional $3 instead of the breakfast potato's. Additionally, I ordered coffee which comes diner style for $4. They brought out milk and sugar and when they noticed our cups were empty they filled them up promptly. The coffee was nothing to write home about but it did the job. My husband and dad both ordered the steak and eggs which come with a side of toast and I know they had options but looking back it's not listed on the menu. My husband got the rye, my dad got the sourdough and his partner got the English muffin which looked fluffy, inviting and home made. Overall my burrito was okay, good flavors but a little underwhelming. It lacked protein and was not evenly distributed with the protein that there was. I do wish I went with another option for breakfast. If I were to come back, I'd try another offering. If I could give half stars I'd probably rate cafe mimosa a 3.5 but am rounding up to 4 for the fast and attentive service and will have to come back and try what they specialize in... mimosas and a different breakfast option.

The seasonal menu's offerings were ideal for a rainy April day, when their cassoulet, bocadillo and other cozy options provided the comfort food we were craving. My lunch friend mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team: Annette and Brian. The regulars were greeted with familiarity. It wasn't the kind of place where you're rushed for your order, nor is it a dine and dash location. The menu - both food and drink - has tantalizing options, so it's best to come back repeatedly. My Turkish Coffee arrived quickly after I ordered it, despite Annette being the only server on the floor. I enjoyed the Bocadillo too, especially the pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwich.
