It is one of the few Android tablets with a 4 x 3 aspect ratio...just like an iPad and perfect for reading letter-size PDFs. I managed to mangle the charging port. (Note to self: If you're inserting a charging cable, at an angle, and it resists, don't keep pushing!) All the wires were bent, rendering it unrepairable. It would have to be replaced. I asked ChatGPT for places that might be able to replace it. I got a list and and went down them one-by-one. No luck. They couldn't get the part, etc. Michael's wasn't even on the list! One of the places that was on the list is Fix 'n' Repair in Watertown. They couldn't handle it, but "there's a computer repair place around the corner. Maybe they could do something.." That's what brought me to Michael's. Whoever was manning the store looked at it and pronounced: they could get the part, but there was a little ding in the bezel. He was concerned that the screen might crack. If I knew the risks, it would be $95. An unbranded 4 by 3 tablet would cost about $200. He thought I'd be better off with a new tablet. But, then, I'd have this "potentially" fixable tablet sitting around mocking me. I left, leaning towards a new tablet. But, the next day I went back with a proposition: Don't order any parts. Try removing the screen. If it cracked, I'd pay whatever he thought was fair. If it didn't, we'd proceed with the repair. It didn't, but there was one small spot on the left edge that showed up blue on a black screen. It wasn't noticeable on a white green screen. He would proceed. What we thought might take a week or two (getting parts and repair) was done over the weekend. I couldn't be happier!

I called them, and they told me it would take 2-3 business days AFTER they receive my computer (so obviously, they won't order the part until my computer is physically in their hands) and it would be $299. I called Orromac: $250 and they could get it back to me in 24 hours. So I dropped it off at 5:45pm yesterday. Osama called me at noon to tell me it was ready. It started up like a charm. So MUCH faster turnaround at $50 less. I am surprised other reviewers found this proprietor to be unfriendly. He could not have been nicer. Wang PC is simply the best. I know that this will sound like…read morean ad. It is not. But Martin is simply incredible. One of my PCs dies every year or two and Martin always saves me. I run a large, very complex digital, pro tools based music studio. We're talking multiple SSDs, HDs, outboard equipment, interfaces, controllers . About 20TBs or more of critical data, both internal and external. This time my c :drive completely died. No system restore or other options possible. He somehow was able to basically clone a large dead SSD to the point that I was able to be back up and running in just a day or two. The man can do anything with a computer. Anything.
