My ssd failed on an 11 year old laptop with windows 7. Tom replaced it with a new one and was able to recover a lot from the original ssd thankfully and the price was good. Great guy! read more

I was experiencing difficulty with my 5+ year old Dell computer and took it to Lappy Fix. Within a day, Tom had diagnosed the problem. He is very fair, efficient, and excellent with computers. I highly recommend Lappy Fix for any of your computer problems. read more

My daughter dropped her laptop and it wouldn't turn on. Lappy Fix diagnosed and fixed the problem - soldering a loose part on the motherboard within 24 hours and for only $99. Great service and great price - would definitely recommend. read more

Tom at Lappy Fix was the only one who could actually solve my laptop issue. After going through Microsoft, Dell, and Best Buy's Geek Squad with no answers, he identified the problem and fixed it in under an hour. He did an excellent job, and I highly recommend visiting him. read more

My computer issue (turns out it was a blown capacitor on the motherboard) was resolved quickly, professionally, completely, and with great customer service. We just moved to Massachusetts and this was my first time going here. I went here because of all the great reviews, and here I am adding to that history. I will certainly return for any future computer needs, and would recommend it to friends and family! read more

Replaced my iPhone battery while I waited a few minutes. Good price and service. Would use again.

My daughter's laptop was having a hard time booting up. It was old, so we bought her a new one, but she had a lot of files on the old one that she needed, so we brought it to Lappy Fix to see if it was still possible to get these files. He determined that the hard drive was corrupt but he was able to access enough of it to get all the files she wanted onto the new laptop. Everything she needed is now on the new laptop. The service was excellent and so was the price. I highly recommend Lappy Fix. read more

My computer was hacked. Took it right down to Lappy Fix. Not only did he get rid of the virus he suggested a smaller drive as my laptop came with 1T drive and it was very slow and i hadn't used a 1/4 of the drive. I agreed. He put a smaller drive in, copied my old hard drive to the new one and now my laptop is so much faster and the price! The price was unbelievable. The work impeccable, he's so knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend Lappy Fix for any computer related repairs. M.S. read more

Got the consultation, he was honest that it might not be worth it to fix the screen, better just to buy a new one, decided to get it fixed because a new one is even more money, he fixed it, works like a charm for a reasonable fee. Thumbs up. read more

My 20 year old Dell Inspiron laptop, experienced the Blue Screen of Death :( it had the Quicken for my business on it. Which had not been backed up!!!! Tom determined the hard drive had failed! But miraculously was able to clone my data to a new hard drive!! And at a very reasonable price! Tom, thank you for your expertise! I would recommend Lappy Fix to anyone needing a computer repair! And Tom is always staying up to date with his knowledge! read more

This guy is amazing! My wife's Mac was 7 years old and the SSD failed. I was torn between ordering parts and trying to fix it myself (I've done stuff like this before, but it's always an adventure) or just writing it off and buying a new Mac. But then I remembered how good Lappy Fix's reviews were, so I decided to give them a try. Two days later: done! And the price is incredible -- ordering the parts would have cost nearly as much. Highly recommend. read more

Lappy Fix has never actually fixed anything for me. I've had them look at two laptops. The first time the owner determined that the motherboard was dead, and I declined to replace it. No charge. The second time, he figured out that I needed to buy a new AC converter. Again no charge. Both times he waved off my offers to pay him for his time. In telling this story I'm not suggesting to bargain hunters that they should expect free or cheap service. I assume that Lappy Fix charges a fair rate for his work, as everyone is entitled to do. What I take from my experience (besides his competence) is that he's not interested in nickel-and-diming his customers - he has a no-nonsense way of doing business that I like. read more

Brought in my lap top at 1pm due to the fact my MacBook Air crashes downloading high sierra. He was able to figure out the problem (a corrupt web root virus protection app), download high sierra, restore my hard drive and return the laptop to me by 5pm. This was fast, effective and great customer service! (I did pay $89 but SO WORTH IT! Apple wouldn't be able to fit me in until 3 days later in the late afternoon). If you need a good Apple tech. Tom Cao of Lappy Fix did a fantastic job replacing a faulty WiFi card in my HP All in One 27-r0xx. He did it in only a 1/2 hour and it cost $60 for labor. He quoted the price in advance and kept to his quote. Other shops were charging $100 and they wanted me to leave my machine for over a day - and they could not guarantee that the new card would work. My HP All in One 27-r0xx WiFi is now working perfectly. Thank you Tom! read more

Very glad to add a five-star rating. Best service, best price, best result. He worked on my old laptop and told me it was DOA. No charge. I asked if he had a used laptop he might sell. He said he might. Next day he called and I got a great used laptop, upgraded, at a great price. All good, happy camper here. 100% Recommend! read more

Took my laptop to them and the worked on it after it had a major failure. It was to far gone and they didn't bill me for it.

Great experience with Lappy Fix - got an estimate for fixing my laptop promptly - pricing was very reasonable - quality work done. I hope I don't need to go back, but this is the place I will go with future issues. read more

Great people and honest too - just picked up my laptop after a water spill that shorted out two capacitors - cost of repair - $89 (plus change). First time the cpu fan died (may it rest in peace) that repair was $99.00. OK spent $200 on repairs but still cheaper than replacing it and moving all the data to a new laptop read more

Fixed my laptop quickly and for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend. Friendly service.

I have gone here numerous time for laptop repairs. I have always felt I was provided quality service at a very good price.

Brought my broken dell laptop in and Tom fixed it in 10min! Great prices. Will recommend to anyone. Thank you!!!

On a Saturday Tom repaired my dead PC that controls my water jet cutting machine. Required new hard drive and transferring all my files and applications. 5 hrs after dropping it off I got it back (better than new as the new hard drive is 4X the capacity of the original). I was able to get some work done that weekend that my customers counted on. I highly recommend Lappy Fix. Bill Bannister read more

Very helpful and fast and affordable Tom there knows his stuff he fixed my laptop in under 24 hours when it wouldn't even turn on before.

Took Desktops, Laptops, Phones there for the past 10 years. Always good and reasonably priced. Once too a laptop to another place that charged me $65 to diagnose and tell me that it wasn't worth fixing. Lappy fix does it for free. read more

I never give five star reviews but I felt this place deserves one. I broke my laptop screen and ordered a new one. Then I found out it was going to be way more than I wanted to do myself. I called Lappy Fix and they said if I brought it in, he could fix it. I brought it in today with the replacement screen I had ordered. He asked if I could wait for the ten minutes it would take for the repair. I could not believe that! I expected to have to leave it for a few days until he could get to it. I could not wait because it is a very hot day and I had groceries in the car. He said he would call as soon as it was done. 15 minutes and it was ready. I will definitely return to them if I need any other computer repairs. We just moved to town and I was concerned with finding a good computer repair place and now I did. read more

My daughter broke her iPad mini screen and it was kind of shattered. We called and asked him how much it would cost and how long it would take, he gave us a great price and got it back to us after a few hours. The iPad looks brand new. I would say they're a lot cheaper then the mall people fixing it. read more

We had 2 cracked IPad screens and an Apple Macbook Pro repaired at Laapy Fix. The owner, Tom, was professional and courteous and knowledgable. The devices got fixed in a very timely manner as did the laptop. The laptop was fixed to perfection with half the cost that Apple quoted. Highly recommend this computer repair shop. read more

I was considering buying a new laptop because of issues with power but thought I'd try fixing it first. After looking at my laptop, they determined that the charging port was broken. They were able to replace it, inexpensively, in only 20 minutes. A year and a half later, my laptop is still doing great. They saved me a ton of money. I would highly recommend them! read more
