(My power adapter checked out fine.) I supposed I could have figured it out eventually (jiggled plugs, etc), but the 'it works now at the shop' seems to be what was needed. I opened my email and found it had deleted every single one of my sub folders. I have put every single personal and professional email in these sub folders for the past 20 years. I was devastated. I took it to Showtime Computer in Hudson NH. They absolutely couldn't have cared less. They didn't even want to turn it on and look at it. Didn't even want to try. Then I went to Best Buy Geek Squad where I bought the unit. They tried but couldn't figure it out. Then I googled Computer repair and saw that Apex got good reviews. Well let me tell you I couldn't be happier. Wicky Chan was patient with me, listened to my problem and said he felt he could get my sub folders back. His employee Maurice worked on it. In one day he had all my sub folders back and got me the software I need to back my info up automatically so this never happens to me again.
