I then told them I will be transferring the SIM card to a new phone later on. I was told that it wouldn't work unless I returned to them to activate the device. I went there when I got the phone and I was charged additional $48 for the same number. A week later my mother got a new unlocked phone, I decided to try the phone with my boost SIM card and it worked. I then realized I didn't have to go back the second time to transfer a SIM card to another device and have them charge me a fee. I was also misled when they told me that my phone would be locked to Boost once it was activated. It was all lies just to get me to return and have them charge me additional fees. Please avoid this location. It is either they have no clue of what they are doing or they just want to rip you off.

Norman Ford (manager)…read moreask what phone I have (14 pro max) tells me I'll get $1000 trade in to 17 pro max upgrade for $1100. Shows me my bill including the watch my monthly bill increase $15. I'm all... let's do this! 1 week later I get my "projected new bill" and it's more like a $40 per month increase. I call ATT customer service and they tell me I'm now paying for insurance, an anytime upgrade fee and I'm only getting $800 trade in! I go back to the store (Norman Ford) and ask why he slipped in these non disclosed charges. He goes on computer and backs out these non authorized charges and gives me a receipt showing me that a "case" has been open to give me my $1100 trade in. Then I get my ATT bill and NO there's nothing- no changes. I called the customer retention dept give them my case number showing proof of what was to be adjusted and they can't see know nothing about this case number! They tell me to go back and speak to the manager (Norman) and get it fixed. Basically I was totally lied too by the so called manager and conned by him trying to add non authorized charges to my bill. 3 months later I'm stuck for the next 33 months (36 month contract with new phone) of a higher bill and ATT does nothing! I've been an ATT user since they were Cingular and have always been satisfied with my devices (I pay for 6 devices!) but to NOT honor my request after showing ample proof is terrible business. I'm ok with ATT service but NOT ok with this store and Norman Ford. I've learned to only go to a corporate store not a retail store that corporate has no say so over total lies/mis representation of liars. Cannot believe this guy is a manager?!?! ATT thanks for nothing.

I wish he would have introduced himself so I could thank him personally here. He was tall with longer hair. While waiting my turn I listened to this staff member helping an older man ahead of me and he was so kind and gentle explaining how the gentle gentleman could fix his issue and prevent future problems with his devices.
