They advertise that they honor their warranties, but when I attempted to use my extended warranty, I was told that the ownership had changed and that they could no longer honor it because of alleged warranty fraud that had occurred. If that is the case, customers should be clearly informed of this before purchasing an extended warranty. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about the warranty terms and whether the warranty will remain valid before purchasing one.
I was also extremely frustrated to find out that the price changed at the time of payment. I was told that one price applied to cash payments and another price applied to debit payments. This additional charge was never disclosed to me beforehand, nor was it listed on the paperwork I received or clearly posted anywhere in the store. Customers should not have to find out about additional charges only when it is time to pay.
The prices they charge are also incredibly high for the work being performed. I paid $90 for one watch and $85 for another simply to have the batteries replaced. These were not complicated repairs or extensive services--they were basic battery replacements that took approximately an hour to an hour and a half. For a simple battery replacement, I found the prices to be completely unreasonable.
And unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the pricing. There is a serious lack of customer service, professionalism, and basic communication. I was extremely disappointed with how customers are treated and how little effort seems to be made to provide a positive experience.
Honestly, with the prices they charge--even for something as simple as replacing a watch battery--you would think some of that money could be invested in actual customer service training and properly training their staff. Their employees should be equipped with the knowledge and professionalism necessary to answer questions, clearly explain warranty policies and pricing, disclose any additional charges, and treat customers with respect. Investing in customer service classes and proper staff training would go a long way.
Overall, the entire experience left me frustrated and disappointed. A business should be transparent about its pricing, warranty policies, and any additional fees before accepting payment. Customers should not have to discover unexpected charges at checkout or struggle to get clear answers about a warranty they paid for.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering using this business to ask about the warranty terms, the exact price for the service being performed, and any payment-related fees upfront so there are no surprises when it is time to pay.
As for me, I will be taking my watches elsewhere moving forward. I would rather pay for a service somewhere that values its customers, properly trains its staff, and provides the level of professionalism, transparency, and customer service that customers deserve.
