Signing up for Verizon has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I know this is going to sound like an exaggeration because it's so insane, but I swear this is how atrocious my experience has been. I signed up with Danny, who was extremely personable. I thought he was great. Until I walked out the door and realized this wasn't even a legit Verizon store! It's an authorized retailer. All of the reviews talking about being scammed definitely concerned me, but I was hopeful I got a good guy and was not going to experience the issues others had. HOLY was I wrong! First of, I did not sign a single thing when I signed up. Another rep at a different Verizon store told me that was highly unusual and not protocol, no kidding. I was told my plan would include more GB of data than it did. I was told I would be paying less than I was charged. I have been overcharged numerous times for various things. I have had to spend hours on the phone every single week to get these constant issues resolved. It's been exhausting and extremely mentally draining. I had to return the phone I got from Verizon because it was malfunctioning. I returned it within 30 days, but the device agreement was not properly removed from my account, so I was still being charged for the device every month. I had go back into the store to get them to properly from the device from my account, and spend hours more on the phone with customer support to get a credit for the bogus device charges. My service with Verizon has been sub-par, to say the least. I thought I was gonna get the best of the best with Verizon, but the same issues persist. I've tried every carrier in the area and they all suck out here, Verizon is no different. I ended up leaving Verizon recently and switched to MetroPCS. Amazing customer service with them so far, and it's much cheaper. And there isn't gonna be any funny stuff going on with my bill since it's prepaid. I HIGHLY discourage anyone from signing up with Verizon, at all, anywhere. But especially this store. They will absolutely lie to your face, and you will end up having to spend hours of your time trying to resolve issues with Verizon customer support because of the mistakes they make. Billing issues cannot be resolved in ANY Verizon store fyi, how ridiculous is that? And their customer support WILL hang up on you. There's a reason by Verizon has lost over 50k customers in the second quarter of this year. They are not what they used to be. Stay away. read more

Diana and Erick were so helpful and had such patience with helping us, the struggle with getting our info with AT&T was no joke lol. SCAMMERS!!! First of all, this is not a true Verizon store. They are just a third party vendor. They will lie to you and charge you all kinds of extra fees that Verizon does NOT charge. I called Verizon and they said this store has MULTIPLE complaints against them! They gouge you and add on things like "setup" fee even if you aren't setting it up in store. They add on insurance, extras etc when I clearly said NO! My bill was $200 MORE than what it should have been. NEVER GO HERE! Go to the corporate owned store in Corona off McKinley instead. Or the one at the Riverside plaza. Anywhere but here!! I asked for the manager and the young guy told me that the manager won't wave any extra fees and wouldn't even tell me when the manager would be in or even his name. They also treat women like second class! These guys should be CANCELED at all costs!!!! read more

I went to the store tonight not exactly hopeful I'd leave with the phone I wanted. I expected to get approved for something entry level. Javier helped me, and not because of anything he did or didn't do. Issues popped up. To me it didn't look like I was going to get the phone. But he told me to stay positive, i tried but after 45 minutes and it getting close to closing time I was sure it was doomed. But, he ended up being right, and after over an hour, and with maybe 10 minutes to spare before the store closed. He was a man of his word and I left with a shiny new iPhone 14 Pro. I know he was doing his job, but I've been to many stores where the customer service was lacking to nonexistent. I really thought I was going to end up leaving with some whatever $99 Android phone. But he made it happen. If you go there ask for Javier, he pretty much made a miracle happen tonight lol. And his customer service was good that close to closing after he had been working all day. My only knock has nothing to do with him, IMHO the store should consider stocking the 1TB iPhone 14 Pros. Even if it's just 1, I would have picked that over the 512GB, but they don't have that one. 5 stars to Javier, and he didn't try to upsell me to a higher plan or tell me I needed a bunch of accessories. I'll definitely be going back next month to buy some accessories from him. read more

The manager , I believe his name is seema, convinced me to use a business account instead, sold me a router, and promised the router and service would be free if I chose to return it. Within a couple hours of sending an email to the response from Victra Corporate, Andre from the store was calling me to help. He was able to work his magic and said that my bill will actually be about $70 a month less than what it was once the discounts take affect. Eddie really hooked me up with a deal I could not refuse! I came in to browse new iPhones because I was getting ready to upgrade from a Galaxy S7, and he offered me a bundle where I could get the iPhone 11 pro Max that included a new iPad and three accessories, which I chose the case, glass screen protector, and a portable charger! Great experience! Chad and Brandon took great care of my mom and I. My "Boomer" age mom wanted to upgrade her phone so they really took the time to walk her through the different options. She upgraded her smart phone and feels confident that she made the right choice based on the various options presented to her. They helped us upgrade the phone package to what fit now and were very helpful. It took a while to get everything finalized but we didn't feel rushed. Over all great customer service experience, we will definitely be back. Note: the store is located inside the Galleria Mall. Stay away form this place! I went in to upgrade my phone the gal that was working me kept throwing numbers around that she would say no. I'm sorry my mistake she kept giving me inaccurate information gave me the biggest headache. She clearly was new didn't know what she was saying or doing she offered to transfer everything on my phone which I normally do on my own but she did it. It has been three weeks since I went in and I still can't get my phone to function properly. She stated she needed my phone password in addition to my Apple ID and password. Apple doesn't understand what it is she did to my Apple ID she blocked it. They are trying to unblock it so that I can recover my Apple ID. If not, I will have to start all over again, when I reached out Verizon to explain what happened and ask for help, they said there was nothing they could do. They told me to go to Apple. I did not find out until after my purchase that this isn't an actual Verizon store. It's an authorized retailer avoid authorized retailers at all cost. in addition to to know proper pricing a details she keep telling me she was hungry and needed to eat and that she has anxiety. Do NOT go to this store. I show up at this store and want to upgrade my phone. My mom and I both have phones on our family plan. She asks which phone and sends text messages to MY phone. She then tells me it's going to be double what I thought it was going to be to pay off my phone. I don't know why I didn't question it, but I didn't. We pay. She comes back and says she actually upgraded my mom's phone (who was not interested in this at all) and it'll be another $300 to upgrade mine. Fine. We pay that. For my new phone, I tell her I want the upgraded phone storage because I like to store things on my phone as opposed to the cloud. She looks at her tablet and then tells me that my current phone storage is fine and I'm not even using all of it and how everybody uses "the cloud". I give in. She tries like five times to upsell me an Apple Watch after I'm very firm I'm not interested. She finally goes back to put the protective screen on my new phone. She comes back. Turns out, she was AGAIN looking at my mom's phone and downgraded my storage from what I had. She then tells me how much trouble it's going to be to undo it and sighs. I feel bad (I'm really too nice) and tell her it's fine. She then tells me I can't switch my data over because they don't have good WiFi and it will take forever, so I need to go home to do that. So, I'm without a phone for the rest of the day.AFTER ALL THIS, I go home and a month later mom gets a bill for wayyyyy over what we normally pay. Turns out this girl added insurance we didn't ask for (But Verizon won't reverse the charge for the month we had it) To say I regret going to this place is an understatement. I don't like leaving negative reviews for businesses, but this was beyond. I can't believe I entrusted something that I prioritize spending so much money on to this place. Worst place to get a phone, service, anything. Prior to COVID (March 2020), we were waited on by Eddie. He was smooth. First, he sold us a bunch of accessories and added it to Smart Pay. Told us we would pay $88.00 for three months and that four of the accessories were free. We had to sign up with Smart Pay to get "a good deal". Called today and found out that the "lease" for all of the items was for twelve months and that we could have paid off the balance in the three months. To save a ton of money. We were to have received an email stating this (never received it). If I had continued on this plan, I would have paid double the original total of $524.00. Smart Pay racks on an additional 20% to make money. Paid off the balance today. Eddie also said our bill would be $262.00 per month, but it's $320.00 per month. I'm still trying to get through to the company to see why our bill is so high. He did nothing but lie to make the sale. I've tried numerous times to call and talk to a manager or owner, but they're closed due to COVID. We will NEVER shop there again. As a matter of fact, we think Verizon's phone service is horrible and can't wait to go back to ATT. read more

Went into Verizon at Tyler Galleria because I was a little miffed. I just ordered Verizon service online and was supposed to pick up a new SIM card, but Verizon had mailed it instead. Well, UPS would not deliver it because a signature was required. They deliver while I am at work! Plus, they charge a fee if you want to change your delivery. Eddie greeted me politely and when I explained what was happening, he immediately made my problem go away. He was kind and considerate. He got me a new SIM card, put it in for me, and made sure everything was running smoothly before I left a 'happy camper'. I would definitely recommend Verizon at the Galleria and Eddie in particular. She was able to answer all the questions I had and didn't hesitate to answer any other questions I thought of along the way. Nira's knowledge on phone plans was phenomenal which led me to ultimately change over to Verizon! I just wanted to thank the store and Nira for her exemplary customer service. Friendly. Efficient. Informed. Effective. Customer-oriented. I purchased a phone while on a trip through Yuma, AZ, but it kept turning off at random times. By the end of the week, the phone was cycling through the on-off process continually. I took the phone to this dealer in Riverside and was there when they opened promptly at 10:00 AM. Mitch greeted me and tested the phone. He offered to exchange it for another, assuring me that the problem was a battery-related anomaly. I agreed to the exchange and, in spite of the constant on-off cycles of my virtually inoperable phone, Mitch was able to transfer my contacts, data, and even apps to the new phone.
