I went in one evening after being on phone with AT&T. They told me to go into a store and get verified. I went into the store on Trautwein Rd in this store manager asked me if you could help me and I said I was there to bring my phone and my number in and get it account with it with AT&T. He asked me if I wanted an insurance on my phone. he asked me what plan I wanted. I told him he tried to sell me on another plan. I told him I was only there to get verified and he kept me there for two hours before I was done, he had my phone in his hand was all my banking information on it because he was asking me for my banking and routing information and instead of me reading out to him, he took my phone for me and he went in the back room with my phone opened on that page probably wrote down all my information because when it was all said and done, the store manager added a second line on my phone for an iPhone 11 with the number starting at 951 mind you my phone is an iPhone 15 Pro Max and my number is a 714 number he had also added a streaming service with DIRECTV and insurance when I found this out by reading the emails that I received once I left a store and realize that he had tried to defraud me by adding a second line who knows who it belonged to, and adding all these extra things on my account which instead of my bill being $70 it turned out that it was gonna be $186 a month the guys are dirty scumbag and I think his name was Mario or Maurice or something. He's the store manager at that location buyers beware make sure that he's not ripping you off like you tried to do to me. This guy should be ashamed of himself. I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my iPhone 7 to a 14!! Yay me!! I had a wonderful experience with John at ATT! He was extremely patient, thorough, and friendly with me during the whole process!! My fiancé ended up going on my plan and getting an upgraded phone as well. I am not a big fan of change, but John certainly made the entire transition smooth and easy! Very disappointed! We went in to upgrade 3-4phones and met JD. Likely the least helpful representative I have dealt with. He had zero desire to help us and made it very apparent. Was not friendly or helpful at all. In fact the complete opposite and just asked us to step away. When we asked to see phones we were told that was not a option. Needless to say we left without upgrading anything and now considering a different provider. Little brother went inside real quick to just ask a question the guy the only guy who was there said wait 15min outside in a rude tone when it's hot as crap outside no one wants to be outside in this heat my brother just said I have a quick question the guy did a rude shut your mouth hand movement then said go ahead and wait outside then if you want to talk to me. Why you you tell a customer to wait outside that's unnecessary and being rude over it doesn't help. This guy had no care on how to speak to a customer. After the rudeness my mother went in to speak to him and he didn't acknowledge her at all and until a customer spoke and said sir I think this lady has a question you can help her the worker then said no and don't say that she has one if she does she can wait outside for 15 or 20 min outside and continued to ignore. My mom said yes I can use some help the worker then again rudely said no go wait outside as if she's a pet and need to be outside. My husband and I went into the store to upgrade our IPhones and were greeted by and very nice young man named Chris. He was so pleseant and very knowledgeable. There were two other gentleman who worked there, did not get their names, but were also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this store. The only negative thing I have to say is to the owner, that he needs to put some type of sun screen on the windows. It is winter and standing by the window was hot. I needed to update my very old android phone. I bought a low cost replacement from tracfone and it might have been fine, but the service was such a nightmare. I had to make 15 calls as I was transferred so many times. I had to speak to 15 people. Still no resolution. I went to one AT&T in town but wasn't given accurate information inorder to utilize this 3rd party phone which wouldn't work for me since I wanted to keep my contract with AT&T. I found a AT&T closer to my home spoke with Marc K. What a great education. He was so patient, for someone who isn't very technologically Up to date with the new phones.. We made a appointment for the next morning. He helped me make it a pain-free purchase and here a month later I'm finally getting down to the review. I still feel he is terrific. I live miles away from this location but luckily I was in the area and dropped by the Riverside AT&T store. I was greeted once I walked in and was assisted by Chris. Instead of helping me to solve the mistake that was made by them, he decided to be extremely rude to me. Honestly one of the worst interactions I've had in a store. I cannot remember the name of the manager, but he was a baldish man in glasses and I remember his nametag saying he was a manager. From the second I entered the store, he was passive aggressive and gave one-word replies to all of my questions. When waiting for the safe to open so he could grab my new phone, he accepted a phone call on his phone where he was swearing and being immensely disruptive to whoever he was talking to (I remember specifically him talking about another employee and saying "I don't give a f*ck if he works here, I run this sh*t"). He then tried to rope me into a long-term payment plan despite the fact that I had my payment in-cash, ready to go. He eventually eye-rolled and said "Fine, you can pay it off in full when you get your next bill." I don't know if that's an AT&T policy, but whatever. Also, when speaking to my stepmother on the phone (as she is the primary holder of the account) he was incredibly snarky and rude to her. Other customers had also entered the store and he pretty much just waved them aside. When I had finally bought the phone, I wanted to buy a case and he pretty much shoved 3 cases in the bag and ushered me to the door. I don't know what I'm going to do with 2 other cases, buy hey, thanks for the free 80 dollars of product I suppose? I wish someone else had been there because I honestly needed help setting up the phone and getting data transferred. Typically AT&T employees have been pretty helpful with that in the past, but this guy seemed so pissed off at the world that I didn't want to put up with it any more. I have no problems with AT&T as a company, have always been pleased with my coverage, etc. But I will absolutely not be visiting this store ever again. read more

I have been to this location a few times not because I want to but more out of convenience. Both times recently I have been met by a Hispanic Male adult in his mid 30's who claims to Be the manager. He has a horrible customer service approach. He is very abrupt and treats people like crap. I watched him help 2 other people and they left so frustrated because he made everything so confusing. His attitude sucks and he is very condescending. The first time I shrugged it off as he was maybe having a bad day and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Not today I am done. I work in customer service and I know you can't treat people like garbage. I walked in and he said very abruptly "you have a mask" I said in the car I did not know you needed one. He said " you didn't see the big signs on the doors." I said oh I though you needed them you were are not vaccinated like every where else. He said "nope and went back to Playing on his phone. I stepped out and looked at the sign the sign actually says the store recommends it does not say you shall wear it. I will definitely not bring my families business to that location anymore and I know a lot of people up in this community they will all hear about this location believe me. I will not recommend AT&T's services to anyone!!! I have been dealing with bill changes, added charges, bad customer service for about a month. I have been trying to port our numbers to Verizon and all AT&T has been doing is giving me the run around. My son hasn't had service in 3 weeks and I was told they would deduct charges from my our bill but the rep said that was not on our account. I paid off all the installment payments and final bill but my son's phone is still locked. I never speak to anyone who can speak proper English, I'm on hold for more than half the entire time of the call, I have to repeat myself over 3 times for each rep and no one gave me the correct information. Came here this past week to shop for a new service provider. I was previously with Verizon and after 12 years I can not afford that HIGH bill anymore. I was greeted upon arrival, and not in the pushy car salesman sort of way. I felt like it was genuine warmth. I had 3 phones in my Verizon line paying $270+ a month with out unlimited data. This was truly a different experience than what at I experienced at the Tyler location from Charlie and the manager Mike. Angel and Gregg actually wanted to help me get my bill down and set me up on a plan that was beneficial to me and my dad because I pay for his bill too. They were friendly, accommodating and actually cared-huh go figure real customer service! Whereas at the Tyler location Charlie set me up with an device and an extra line that I didn't authorize. Yesterday my husband and I went in to talk about getting on the same phone plan and asked for help with getting my husbands phone out of disabled mode. Roxy was so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and all around amazing person. She was so helpful and gave us information on what our plan would cost, information on upgrades to new phones, and direction on who could help us with my husbands phone. She even got my phone number and texted us information after we left the store so we knew if we'd be able to come back to switch our plan that day. After some difficulty with the disabled phone, we came back in and unfortunately we came into contact with JD. We walked in and saw Roxy helping another customer while JD sat behind his desk and did not greet us. We walked up and he was incredibly rude as I started to explain our situation and how we were back to hopefully get my husband a new phone and switch our stuff over to a new plan. There was a miscommunication with Roxy about us being on the same plan with myself being a first responder. JD was condescending and did not appear to believe me that I am in fact a first responder. He was grumpy, talked down to me like I was an idiot, and as I was trying to get info on how my dad can release me from my current plan, he refused to even speak with my dad on the phone to answer a question. I was overwhelmed by his mood/demeanor and honestly it was crazy how we went from the best customer experience with Roxy, to then the worst customer experience of my life with JD. When I politely informed him that he was not treating us with respect and his overall energy was incredibly off putting, he shook his head and did not care. I have never been more disrespected by someone in my life. I feel terrible for him as he seems miserable. I hope he can find his happiness in life, but until then, ATT should be aware of how employers are treating customers of 18+ years, first responders, and just human beings in general. So so so sad about this experience. We won't be going back to this store and if it wasn't for our internet plan, we'd be switching providers.
