I wasn't able to verify if it was fixed as the transaction happened outside in his vehicle, but I trusted that if I was being charged it meant it was fixed. I texted him informing him it still wasn't holding charge and he offered to take the device for a few days, but by then I no longer felt comfortable handing it over, as if all felt shady. The whole process felt unprofessional from start to finish. And to top it off, I was charged $103 for a repair that clearly wasn't completed. Make sure to pay with a credit card to be able to dispute if services aren't rendered. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle, go somewhere else. If you want to get scammed go here.

I got an offer from xfinity for their $30 customer service and took it. When I asked DSL extreme to disconnect their service, they sent me an email saying they were working on it. No disconnect date, final bill, instructions on whether to return their equipment, etc. When I called to find out and mentioned this, the customer service rep just chuckled, before hastily arranging an email to provide the info I was lacking.
