And we were very happy with his patience and gave us different options, my mom was able to choose what she liked most and we went for it. The set-up and transfer was easy and fast. My mom is extremely happy with her purchase and payment plan. The reason I am also writing this Yelp review is because my mom has went to another AT&T in Santa Ana and the lady was not helpful and was only offering my mom iWatch, internet, and other accessories and not even giving options for what my mom wanted, a new iPhone. Worst customer service ever! What happened to good customer service, only one sales person in the store when I went and her name was Dina. If she's the store manager she isn't a very good one. I was not impressed and went to a different store location. People just really hate their jobs now and days. If I wanted a new line I would've asked for that, but instead she summed I couldn't afford a new phone when I asked what she could do for me she referred me back to insurance. This store is unbelievably awful. Worst customer service ever. I upgraded a phone for my daughter and just wanted to trade it in at the store rather than mailing it. Yeah, don't do that here. The phone was in perfect condition. The guy tried to tell me that there was some hairline crack on the back of it. I couldn't even see it. Just got a new bill(s) . 5 different numbers for the same account. Loyalty representative couldn't tell why this happened. Gave confirmation number to show new bill that changed 5 times in two days. She agreed that that was bad but stated there was nothing she could do and came up with a sixth number after a new promotion but ha to give up my protection plan. Could not and would not see if I could get an answer as to why this multiple totals kept changing. So much for loyalty. 20 years and have to cut the cord because ATT is only loyal to themselves. Let's pay five different prices for the same gallon of milk. How long before you change who you're buying from. Will be going another route. My husband and I visited this store on 12/29/23 between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. I would give zero stars if I could. From the moment I walked in, I could get a sense that Amy was on "edge", but we all have those days. I went in to pay off our phones so that I could switch carriers. Amy (The Manager) tried to get me to not switch. I appreciated her efforts at first. She stated that she didn't care about AT&T...just cared about helping me. She looked at my bill and said it was "jacked up" and that she could do more for me than the people at customer service. I let her know that customer service via phone did lower the bill and then it went right back up. I still wanted to switch. She said that the phones would not be unlocked for 72 hours. I restated this info because I was not familiar with this rule. I asked if we could call customer service and she said that I could do that myself. I've been to AT&T (not this store) many times and they have offered to call customer service for me. After asking for clarification she said that I had an attitude and then would not process my payment. She refused service. I asked who her manager was and she said she was the manager. I asked who her boss was...she refused to answer me. I asked if she owned this store...refused to answer. She told me I could go to another AT&T store. I was completely shocked. If this store has video, please take a look/listen. There was one other male employee and a male customer with a baseball cap. I have also since learned that this is not a corporate store. However, if my logo was on the store front, I would not want Amy representing my business. So, could someone here please tell me how to get in touch with Amy's boss? Went in yesterday to possibly purchase a new phone. I am not the main account holder on my account and wasnt looking to make any changes to my plan. But the associate (tattoo'd dude) was very pushy and condescending when i stated that we didnt want to make changes to our plan, even if it meant spending more money each month. The convo went: me- "i dont want to make changes to our plan, my grandpa will be pissed if i do that" him- "HA pissed about saving $50 a month?! ok.." (this was repeatedly his response to my hesitance) like... no thats not the point dude. I was ready to purchase that day, but ended up walking out and going to a different location. This review is just for the workers at the store. I was at another AT&T location to buy an iPhone 8 but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock so I was told to stop in at this location which did have the one I wanted in stock. When I explained this to the manager who was on the floor (there were only two visible sales associates and he was one of them) he tried to convince me over and over again to buy the iPhone 10 instead. He was very condescending and overly aggressive about selling that model. I had to politely tell him 4 times that I wanted the 8 and not the 10. I told him I did my research and was happy with that decision. He didn't believe me and kept talking. When I said that I would just buy it online and went to leave, he suddenly changed his mind and said they would get it for me. Then there were more issues since I wasn't authorized on the account, even though I had all the required information for the account. At the previous location, this was no problem since my number was on the account and I would be using my own payment method. But apparently it was a big deal at this location Eventually, after they clearly convinced me that they didn't want my money, I thanked them for their time and left. I purchased the phone through Apple with ease and at the same price the AT&T store offered. No point going in, especially to this location with this manager on staff. DO NOT USE!!!! They are worse than car salesmen. Went into the store to upgrade my phone and they and all I was met with was lies. I asked about TV and they would only tell me about the most expensive packages not giving me the lower option I was looking for until I was about to walk (car salesman tactic). Upgrading my phone wasn't any better. They sold me a screen protector that wouldn't fit correctly and the rep told me to give it a couple days. I ended up taking it off and throwing it away. They said I had to sign phone contract with the phone insurance (which I didn't want). Their "system" didn't allow them to remove it. I'm guessing the rep made commission on the feature. They used my information to start an online rewards account without my permission. I told rep multiple times I did not want to signup for it and he input all my personal info and agreed to all terms of agreement anyways. I am talking to a lawyer now about recourse due to them using my personal information without my consent. DO NOT USE!!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would just to start. We came into this store two days before Christmas only wanting to add a phone line for our son and replace my husbands phone. We were up front about the fact that we were on a budget and shopping around. Our sales associate was Danny L. He appeared down to earth and very helpful and put on the sales charm. Gave us helpful tips and told us that there was a Christmas promotion going on that we could get a new iPhone for only $1. We decided to do this and also let him know my husband needed a new phone. We were ADAMANT about the fact that we did not want to increase our bill by too much and wanted to go the most cost effective route. He repeated several times that we could not go wrong with the $1 deal. He even offered me a new phone and I did not need one as my current phone was working just fine and again "It's only $1 how can you go wrong with that?" He proceeded to add two more phone lines to our account as "phantom lines". He said this was needed to give the promo and assured us that it would actually reduce our monthly bill by having us on a family plan. We paid around $280 in store for taxes and activation fees and left happily thinking we had gotten a great deal. Fast forward to the following month when the bill came and it was almost $600. Of course I called to dispute and was told there were one time fees and extra taxes. We called the store to ask for the manager, and even the manager would not get involved and insisted we must talk to Danny as he is the one that knows what he promised us. We came into the store two more times to try and discuss with him and were ultimately told that he has no idea what we are talking about as no iPhone would ever be promised for $1 and there are ALWAYS extensive activation and equipment fees when you buy a new phone and we should have known that. I again called AT&T customer service and they gave me a whopping $50 credit to my bill for my troubles after 3 years of service with them and an apology. Now I am stuck paying for two extra phone lines that did indeed increase my bill quite dramatically and went from paying $150 per month to $300. I was lied to and the customer service to fix the situation was non- existent! DO NOT let DANNY L sell you a phone, and DO NOT even go to this location for that matter as the manager does not care about telling the truth and real salesmanship based on customer needs. read more

On 11/15/2018 at 16:07:16pm I went in just to make a quick payment. The lady at the register, Sandra T was rather rude. She was on her phone when I walked into the store didn't greet or help me. I had to walk up to the desk and say hello and tell her what I was there for. She did not say one word to me as she made my payment and was on her phone while "helping" me. Once the transaction was done she handed me the paper receipt (which she refused to print cause according to her she can't email and print it's only one or the other. Which is false cause I've always done it there and even at other stores the kiosk will allow you to). I have never had a single issue until this lady Sandra T. She did not seem to want to be there and if that is the case then do something with your life. Don't be rude to customers cause you're unhappy with your life. This store is full of shit there are no help, u-verse cable is charging 300hundred dollars for two TVs when I was told 89.99 plus tax also I was paying $25 dollars for internet and now they want me to pay 179 for basic internet service. I spoke with 7 useless people and I didn't get know were. So from July to august was $172 that was a fair amount but when my sep bill came in it was 666 will today's amount is $717 it amazing how they steal from people they somehow convince their customers on hooking them up with a good deal and promotion but in reality when you receive the bill surprise surprise! I've call varias time today to customer service and customer care about the bill all they did is lies and one lady just clicked and left me talking. Aren't they suppose to write notes? Also told them to go bad to the "recording" and they obviously don't record the conversation. So today I went into this location to exchange a phone I received on the 30th getting the phone was no problem but exchanging it I had the hardest time well I first decided to go to the original location I got it from because I was told that today April the 13th was the last day but going into the store Cisco ( who is the store manager ) told me that I COULD NOT do it because the phone was purchase on the 30th .. which makes today the 14th day sooo I asked is this a AT&T policy and he said YES ( so I called the Hidden Valley location and two ladies offered to help ) due to the fact that I got the phone at this location they asked if I could go to the original location but I told them he would not do it. So they called him again AGAIN he stated that he would not do it because it was the 15th day. Sooo the ladies at hidden valley helped us out with the problem and now we are all happy with our 8 plus ... these ladies are awesome and Cisco really needs to reevaluate he treats his customers because I will never go into this store again... Went here for a phone upgrade and got talked into switching my Uverse tv bundle for direct tv. I was promised a great new internet deal and was promised that the Uverse would automatically be cancelled. Wrong and wrong. The direct Tv was installed with no problem, but almost three weeks later I was still waiting for my internet to be upgraded. I called twice and got the run around. I finally called ATT directly and took care of it myself. Do yourself a favor and go to a corporate store or call ATT direct. read more
