Fried green tomato BLT (BLFGT on menu)
Morganne M.

Great views, great service. Good drinks and food. Parking is easy and free with a huge deck next to the restaurant. Inside is nice with pretty decor and a really cute bar. We sat on the patio which has a great view of the golf course and plenty of shade. Our server was great, very spot on and gave good recommendations. For drinks we got a blueberry mule and a mimosa, both of which were great and refreshing. For food, we got the crab cornbread hush puppies. The sauce was very good but the hush puppies a bit dry and little taste of crab. For entrees, we did a fried green tomato BLT, which was great and came with a huge portion of fries, I just wish there was more filling to bread ratio on the sandwich. Husband got the corned beef hash which was also a huge portion and flavorful. Recommend if you are looking for a nice place to relax on the patio.

Went to this beautiful date place last night and it was so mesmerizing here. This is a place where they have courts for so many different sports such as tennis, pickle ball, golf etc. Boone's is a place for all the people post those activities and it doesn't disappoint. They have a beautiful vibe and amazing drinks. We had couple of cocktails, some wine and a cheese board and flatbread (requested to replace bacon with chicken on our flatbread and they agreed) and our server was so helpful with her recommendations. We sat on the patio and had amazing views and enjoyed our evening.

Ronnie is very friendly. He welcomes everyone to the bar. He makes your drink exactly as requested. He is very attentive. The food is freshly served. Overall, this was a great experience. I will definitely be back.

What a nice place. Good food, great cocktails, and AWEsome hospitality. I can't wait for warmer days to sit in the patio. Can't ask for more.

Hanger Steak

I ordered the hanger steak. It was perfectly cooked with a buttery sauce, silky fondant potatoes, and grilled asparagus. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and overlooks the Bobby Jones golf course.

What a beautiful setting for dinner! I loved checking out the restaurant at the Bobby Jones golf course after a billion times walking by it on runs and dog walks around the course. You just can't beat the view, and who doesn't love a good patio? The dinner menu is upscale. I had grilled salmon with broccolini and cheesy grits. The salmon was good, but the grits were great. And the whole thing tasted even better as leftovers the next day. It's a good neighborhood staple, and I was impressed by how crowded it was on a weeknight. You can just park in the free parking structure for the golf course, which makes it easy.

Had an okay experience. It's not a restaurant to go out of your way to eat at but if you're at the club it's fine. I had the steak it wasn't extremely flavorful but it was cooked correctly. Did take over 45 min to get food for 3 people (and they got appetizers as entrees) so that was disappointing but eventually it all came out together. Our server was great and energetic . I wouldn't go back though but again, worth an initial visit if you're in the area. Better for small groups.

What a lovely view. Food is good and our server was friendly. We came on a Sunday evening and easy to get seated. Drink:northsider- ok Lamb chops - very good and the veggies were delicious! I would order again. Steak frites- good but at this price point should include vegetables. The fries were salty.

We visited this establishment on a Friday evening. We made a reservation for the patio outside. It was very easy to find and parking was ample. When we arrived, we were instantly greeted and seated. Our table outside was facing a great view and there was a heater near the table. The heater produced a lot of heat but it was still a little chilly. Perhaps adding another heater on the other side would have made it perfect. That was my only complaint of the night. We ordered the cheese fritters and the fried artichoke hearts for appetizers. The cheese fritters are amazing. The red pepper jam served with them, makes this dish an allstar. The lemon pepper aioli, served with the artichokes was very delicious. We ordered drinks before our main course. The original Cinn and the Bobby Jones cocktails are superb! However, my favorite drink of the night was the Northsider!! Wow, that drink was like my best friend and I wanted to tell it all of my secrets. For our main course, we ordered the Caesar salad with grilled salmon and the crab cake. Both dishes were tasty. For dessert we shared a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. There wasn't anything we had, that we didn't enjoy. Our server was great, she made suggestions and checked on us just enough. The atmosphere was just right, and we look forward to visiting again, probably when it warms up a bit.

Could not recommend this spot more!!! The shrimp was some of the best I've had. This is such a fantastic spot to chill on a beautiful sunny day. Overlooking the golf course at Bobby jones, we had the best time at Boones.

Second lunch today ... what a nice addition to the golf and tennis facility. Drinks are good - wine pours decent - service is great. Masks are enforced (except the bartender who wore hers under her nose?). Food is good. The burgers get the best press. I personally like the Mac and cheese with seafood. Salads and bacon lettuce fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese all get a thumbs up. Shrimp rolls in the way of lobster rolls were good but a bit too saucy.... still nice though. Also - wine flights. Duh. It's a fun spot - small. Cozy. Good for pre-/post- game Play.

Boone's deserves a 5 star review primarily because of its outside patio that has a beautiful view of the golf course and of Atlanta. The food itself is fine. I ordered the $20 duck burger, which mostly tasted like a normal burger. I appreciate the creativity in the ingredients used, including the duck, blueberries, bacon, and blue cheese. I will definitely be back if I have guests, and we need a nice view for lunch or brunch.

Lush greens spread out in every direction from the elevated patio with golfers spread out over the serene landscape. Inside the circular bar jets out into the dining area that is dotted by tables and a handful of patrons enjoying glasses of wine and small plates. Open to the public, Boone's on Bobby Jones Golf course in Buckhead is nestled in the clubhouse next to the pro shop, so from the front you'll never know your walking into an elevated culinary and cocktail experience. There is nothing ordinary about Boone's from the delicious starters like the Spanish octopus to the house pimento cheese fritters to the shishito peppers, as well as dynamic, bold plates like their herb crusted rack of lamb or roasted pork tenderloin, all washed down by a wonderful cocktail menu stuffed with goodies like the Plant One on me, the Spicy Gentleman or the Bobby Jones. Who's excited to explore? We started out the night with a trio of cocktails, the first being The Spicy Gentleman cocktail that's a take on an old fashioned. It starts with a kick from the spicy jalapeno and then sweet and balanced from the grenadine and Grand Marnier. With our main meal, we decided to try the Bobby Jones Cocktail since Boone's is on the Bobby Jones Golf Course. It really is unique with a ton of peach flavor, and not being a huge peach cocktail fan, I was skeptical. But, with notes of cinnamon, and the bourbon, lemon, and peach combination was a stunner. It is sippable and balanced! We loved both, but our favorite of the night was Plant One on Me. This cocktail is unforgettable with herbaceous and sweet notes with bright and tangy citrus that culminate in a balance that's further elevated by the mint oil floater! A beer drinker? They have a Boone's Lager, that'll keep you cool and refreshed! It's tasty. The cocktails wowed us and so did the shared plates we got! One of the best of the night was the house pimento cheese fritters. The bite starts out super crispy and the pimento cheese inside gushes out sharp, tangy, and warm. Then, underneath the sweet and spicy sauce is delectable on its own but when paired with the fritters, it is a match made in heaven. Or on the golf course! Beyond this, we got the Spanish Octopus, Shishito Peppers, and Fried Brussel Sprouts. Starting with the Octopus, this one is charred yet tender and cut into pieces and paired with earthy fava beans and savory, meaty ham chunks. The right amount of seasoning and pistachio crumble seriously elevates the dish and all the flavors work so well together. Yum. One of the surprises of the night was the earthy Shishito peppers. They're soft, charred and sweet with savory Asian inspired sauce and topped with peanuts. Let's not forget to mention that the sauce and flavors are bold and really pair well with the earthiness (and spicy if you find it) of the peppers. You can't go wrong with Brussel sprouts that are tender and well cooked, charred, and then tangy yet creamy with apples and a savory sauce. Then, they topped it with blue cheese for tang that finishes out the bite. Now, moving on to the main event with two beautiful dishes, the herb crusted rack of lamb and roasted pork tenderloin. The roasted pork tenderloin is tender, yet juicy with an earthy rub. On the side, it is paired with an earthy acorn squash that is sweet, buttery, earthy with a hint of cinnamon, plus a creamy celery puree to round out the dynamic balance of flavors. The most stunning dish of the night had to be the sexy herb crusted rack of lamb. It's just as tasty! It is succulent and tender with a copious amount of seasoning and smothered in tangy and bright chimichurri, the right flavor profile with the meat. Underneath pink lady peas and a creamy onion purée smack you with a creamy earthy southern twist, while the sweet potatoes dial up some sweetness to juxtapose all the other flavors. What an amazing meal!

This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!

The Mac n cheese was classic and I was surprised that I enjoyed the collards (usually not my favorite).
