The hibachi is great here!!! I had the shrimp, steak fried rice, veggies with double zucchini!!! I loved it! I was surprised that there was no one in here tho. With so many great reviews, I thought there would be more people, however, I enjoyed my time there and will definitely bring my family next time. The service was good. Nice friendly faces. . Just like I like it!!

This was our first time there and I was very impressed. The chef was amazing, he put on a great show and had such a fun personality. He made the cooking look so easy, yet the flavors were so delicious. I want to say that it was the best tasting and tender steak I have ever eaten. I got the deluxe bonsai that included, steak, chicken and shrimp. My daughter got the steak and lobster and it was less money than I thought it would cost. Every thing was excellent and I highly recommend this place for the food, the price, and the ambience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. I plan to return very soon.

Found this place by accident trying to take the wife out to dinner. Great service, food was awesome. The fried rice is the bomb! Definitely coming back.

The building looks small on the outside but the inside is actually a little bit bigger than it looks! We were sat with one other party that came about 30 min after we did, so we had to wait a little to have our meal. Our drinks, sushi, soups, & salads were brought out and were fresh. I had both miso and onion soup and enjoyed both. The shaggy dog roll was excellent! I contemplated getting another one. I got the hibachi deluxe meal and our chef was excellent! Everything was cooked well & the rice was delicious! Sometimes rice can be a hit or miss at hibachi, so I must say... this one was a hit! We enjoyed the experience and quality of food. Service was a little slower, but we enjoyed our time there. Would recommend!

Omg! This place so close to my house and I just found out! It's hidden gem for sure! The atmosphere is not that impressive but the food is! Definitely must try the Samurai and their fried rice tho. I loved it and will come back with bigger group for sure!

I always order the kobe steak entree cooked to a medium temp and I get perfectly tender, melt-in-your-mouth bite sized pieces every time. The fried rice is so flavorful, you don't even need to add soy sauce. The soup and salad appetizers are great too. They are on the smaller side but it's enough for me. I've been here for both hibachi and regular dine-in, and the service is admittedly hit or miss. The interior (and bathrooms apparently) could use also some work. However, the food always has me coming back so five stars for that.

Good food. Good service. We had the whole table to ourselves. I just wish they had dessert included as well.

Came in with my family to support them during COVID season and was impressed with the safety measures they took. Servers and chefs all wore masks, tableware has been replaced with disposable ones, and we were given our own hibachi table without having to share with another group. As for the food, it was wonderful as always. Our hibachi chef was so entertaining and professional. I got the hibachi steak with fried rice and it was perfectly cooked. Sushi was fresh as well. It was a lovely experience overall.

The teppanyaki show was fun, engaging, and very well done, and everything we tried tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi was also surprisingly good. I ordered the Firecracker Roll and the King Maki, and both were excellent. For appetizers, we tried the Crab Puffs and the Hayashi Style Fried Calamari, which were great starters and full of flavor. The complimentary soup that comes with the meal was pretty good as well and a nice way to start the dining experience. The hibachi itself was also very good, and the menu offers a wide variety of meats to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the service. Our server made us feel a bit rushed during the visit, which took away slightly from the overall experience. Aside from that, the food and the teppanyaki performance were excellent, and I would definitely come back.

The salmon sashimi photo shows 6 pieces, but when you order it you only receive 3. That's extremely disappointing when you expect what's advertised. While the quality and cuts of the fish were great, expectations were not met based on the pictured item. :/ I'm currently in the hospital and had been looking forward to sushi my entire pregnancy, so this was especially frustrating. My husband picked up the order, and the man at the counter was rude both times. The first time, my husband simply asked to confirm whether sriracha was included and was met with an attitude. The second time, the order was placed on the counter without any acknowledgment or confirmation before the employee turned away. I myself cannot speak for the ambiance as i haven't been in person but this alone is enough to keep me away. We're glad I'll be discharged soon so we can return to our usual sushi spot--Sushi Hana in Katy, which has never treated us this way. Should've been a simple family night. It wasn't. What went wrong: 1. Overcooked steak. Paid $55+ for Splash 'N Meadow and the steak was tough and dry. Had it re-done. If you can't cook it right when it's made in front of me, what are we doing? 2. $6 fried rice upcharge per person, not disclosed. Chef started making hibachi fried rice without saying it's extra. Steamed rice is included free, but they don't tell you. 3. Charged the $6 upgrade on BOTH kids meals. $18 total just for rice my kids didn't ask for. The chef assumes everyone wants it and bills you later. 4. The upcharged rice was overcooked too. Paying premium for them to mess up rice is wild. 5. Auto-grat stacked on top of all the surprise charges. Final bill for 1 adult + 2 kids was outrageous for the quality and experience. Parents: If you see the chef cracking eggs into rice, stop him and say "steamed rice only" or you're getting charged $6 per kid. They bank on you not knowing. The show isn't worth the hidden fees and bad food. Plenty of other hibachi spots in Houston won't pull this. We're done with Benihana.
