New York Roll, Garlic spycy edamame and Jasmine tea

5/5 - A Hidden Gem in Copperfield! I've lived in the Copperfield area for over 15 years, passed by Yes! Ichiban Steakhouse and Sushi countless times, and I'm honestly kicking myself for not stopping by sooner. They've been here since around 2018, and this was my very first visit--definitely won't be the last. I ordered the New York Roll, spicy edamame, garlic edamame, and jasmine tea. Everything was phenomenal. The flavors were fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced--just incredibly satisfying all around. What truly made my experience exceptional was our server, Shelby. Her service was outstanding--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Honestly, even if the food hadn't been as amazing as it was, I'd come back just for her service. She makes a huge difference in the atmosphere and experience here. This place is a true hidden gem. I will absolutely be back and will recommend it to everyone I know. Yes! Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had! The food was amazing, the ambience was perfect, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely be back!

Just visited Ye's Ichiban for the first time on a sushi craving, and my husband and I were SO impressed! The atmosphere was clean, beautiful, intimate, and cozy (despite the spacious size of the place). The sushi was really cheap AND really good, which is a WINNING combination! I had the Crunchy Roll and the California Roll, and my husband had the Philly Roll, the Scallop Nigiri, and the Yellowtail Nigiri. We would recommend all of them, and can't wait to come back and try more! And last but certainly not least, our server, Shelby, was very attentive, constantly coming by to see if we needed anything, quick to bring us what we asked for, and very friendly! We were very happy with Ye's, and will definitely be coming back!

I am happy to say that my experience at Ye's Ichiban yesterday was much better than my previous visit about a year ago. These five stars are well-deserved! Though the individual hibachi tables are no longer, the hibachi grill was open again (hibachi dishes are made in the kitchen), and the sushi chef was clearly on top of his game! My wife and I ordered the Beef Yakisoba, the hibachi combo with New York Strip and shrimp, and a King Lobster Roll. Everything was great, and the King Lobster Roll was spectacular! That could well be the best sushi I've had! The service was quick. The atmosphere was perfect for either a romantic date or a dinner with friends, and the staff were all quite helpful. Based on the other reviews I'm seeing, my experience isn't an uncommon one. This is definitely worth trying, especially if you live in NW Houston.

This is a great hibachi restaurant. They no longer cook the food in front of you since Covid. Steak, salmon and shrimp are all good options. We order from here 3-4 times a year. It is located at the back of the Copperfield Place subdivision in a shopping center off of 529 and Hwy 6.

Went for a late lunch with my son. They weren't busy but our hostess/waitress was awesome!! Completely helpful and attentive. We got 3 rolls and a side of shrimp fried rice (not pictured) I must say for a side it was a good size order! The ambience was awesome they had an awesome playlist going! Will definitely return to this hidden gem!

I recently ordered several sets of sushi rolls at this place, hoping for a satisfying sushi dinner experience, but unfortunately, my expectations weren't met. While the staff was friendly and the ambiance inviting, the food left much to be desired. The rolls had a mushy texture that made them difficult to enjoy, and the rice was noticeably overcooked and bland, detracting from the overall flavor and presentation. Most disappointingly, some of the seafood seemed to be substituted with lower-quality or unidentifiable ingredients, which felt misleading for a sushi establishment. When I returned two sets of rolls to the restaurant and explained the problem, the manager said it was how most customers like sushi. Really? They should try sushi at other places to see what real, professionally made sushi tastes and looks like. What is even more discouraging, in response to my 1-star review on Google, the manager of Y'es Itchiban called me "a disrespectful and rude customer". Frankly, what I find truly disrespectful is trying to pass off subpar ingredients as authentic sushi. I appreciate the effort that goes into running a restaurant, but I believe there's significant room for improvement in the quality and authenticity of the dishes.

The food is always great! The staff is friendly and the restaurant is quiet. You can always enjoy yourself here. They have so many rolls to choose from, and if you're not into sushi, they have other options. From fried rice, to udon noodles, steak, chicken & lobster.

Visited during lunch time with my coworkers, we all agreed that the place is nice and not too loud or quiet. Hibachi side is closed but it's no big deal, we just sat at the tables and the chances of someone bumping into your chair are low as the space between tables is very spacious. Food was really good, I had the fried rice with steak, it was a pretty big portion. The side salad dressing is pretty good too. Our waitress was very nice and attentive for the amount of table she had at the time. We didn't have any issues while paying either, tips were included on the final receipt, with option to leave additional if you wanted to, otherwise you just sign and go, no math needed this time. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food and taste. I'd be happy to pay it again cause it was delicious My photos are just me telling my husband I wasn't gonna be able to finish the meal and he should come by my job and see me and take this food cause I always want to feed him. Overall, we'll be coming back! ... to try out what my coworkers ordered

FOOD: The price here is rather expensive, with their signature sushi rolls ranging from about $13 - $19. They do offer some cheaper options such as California Rolls. They do offer complimentary miso soup, which was a nice touch! We ordered: Chicken teriyaki ($15) - This was pretty good! Great sauce and the chicken had a grilled smoky flavor as well. Baked Salmon Roll ($14) - Pretty good Pink Rainbow Roll ($13) - Okay Wild Flowers Roll ($19) - This was my favorite of the three rolls because of the tempura flakes. Overall, the three rolls were pretty good. They tasted fresh and was a decent size. However, I felt like they were expensive in general. They rolls had subtle flavors, but maybe because all three of our rolls were similar. None of the rolls stood out in taste and made us think, "Wow, that's amazing." We asked for extra spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side to dip and it did elevate the flavor to the next level. This would be a type of place to go on a date night without kids because the bill will easily rack up. We are a little hesitant to come back mainly because of the price, but I would say that it's worth a try if you wanted to experience something new.

Really good experience -- we'll be back!…read more We had a great time at Yamato. The place was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered quite a bit -- bento box, shrimp tempura, chicken hibachi, steak & lobster hibachi, filet mignon hibachi, and tonkotsu ramen -- and honestly everything tasted fresh and well-cooked. The hibachi meats were tender and flavorful, the tempura was crispy, and the ramen had a nice rich broth. Portions were generous too. Overall just a relaxing, enjoyable dinner. Definitely a spot we'd come back to and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

I ordered the chicken tempura bento box thinking it would be similar to chicken katsu. However I got 3 little 1 cm thick chicken breast slices drenched in batters and oil. It came with one deep fried broccoli, one deep fried sweet potato slice, 1 deep fried zucchini slice, and 1 deep fried onion ring. Very greasy, unappetizing and just tasted like I was eating oil flavored paper towels. The side salad was just iceberg lettuce with a chicken sauce, which wasn't terrible, however looked like vomit. Very unappetizing. Lastly the fried rice was super plain and just not yummy at all. I didn't say anything at the restaurant because I don't want to cause a scene, however paying $20 for this absolute abomination should be illegal lol Miso soup was okay just lacked more toppings (barely had tofu/green onion, seaweed Overall this dish would be perfect for people who are on a mission ti clog their arteries and have a heart attack as soon as possible.

I'm not even a steak person -- I usually order chicken -- but I actually ate a good amount and really enjoyed it. We ordered the sweet potato soufflé, mac & cheese, and corn. Everything was equally good. The sweet potato soufflé was smooth, creamy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was rich with nicely toasted breadcrumbs, and the corn was solid. Only disappointment was the rolls. They weren't bad, just nothing special. Texas Roadhouse still has the best rolls . Service was top tier, and overall Steak 48 absolutely delivered. It rivals Little Alley Steak in ATL, which says a lot coming from me. Great birthday dinner.

From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming and friendly, the server patiently explained their highlights and recommendations. It's clear the restaurant is very intentional about their food choices. The manager even wrote a personalized birthday card for me and gave us a follow up call the next day to check in on our experience which was very kind of them. In regards to the food, it was delicious but we didn't find it exceptional enough to justify the high price point. The meal started off with complimentary bread service that you could choose with sea salt or garlic parmesan topping. The bread was so fluffy, warm, and comforting. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly, which was surprisingly tender and juicy, and the sauce complimented it very well. We ordered the regular size bone-in KC Strip to share. It was a huge portion and they give you extremely hot plates so that the steak stays warm and sizzly on your plate once you eat it. We were pretty impressed by how juicy and tender it was. The corn creme brulee and Boursin cheese whipped potatoes we had as sides were great complements to the dish. At the end of our meal, they treated us with a complimentary Cookies and Cream Popcorn Sundae which was super unique and really delicious. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're willing to ball out and celebrate for a special night.
