Typical Poké bowl place. They mix the sauces in with the veggies and meat which I thought was weird. Then add toppings. I will say I went in a Monday and the fish was extremely fresh! I like that. The food was great, mixed to perfection and the topping choices were more plentiful than I've ever had before. Really nice work sorry I didn't take a picture of it read more

I think this poke was a solid 7/10. I loved the portion size for the base and toppings. Especially appreciated that the avocado wasn't extra. I do wish the portion sizes for the protein were a little bigger. Overall the fish tasted fresh but I should've added more sauce bc something was lacking flavor in my bowl. Crab ragoons were a 9/10 and added a great crunch element to the meal. Staff were nice and the service was quick. read more

OMG ! I just went in and ordered a bowl to go and it was AMAZING! I already can't wait to go back. The service was really good as well. I was greeted as soon as I walked in! The staff member who helped me was very friendly She offered me a taste of a couple of sauces before putting them on my bowl and she kept a smile on her face. Decided to give this spot nearby a shot and was thoroughly satisfied! Would definitely recommend. I got a poke bowl with 2 scoops salmon, 1 scoop tuna, masago, pineapple, mango, pickled daikon, seaweed salad, purple onions, green onions, crab salad, corn, carrots, avocado, cucumber, fried wonton chips, seaweed, furikake, ginger chips, tempura, house ginger sauce, hawa classic sauce, unagi sauce - I tried the cream sesame and ponzu sauce pm the side and they were all good! They mix your bowl for you and then add your toppings, which I wasn't expecting but that was a nice touch so that everything was covered in sauce and not dry. My boyfriend and I tried this spot for the first time today, and the food was really delicious! This is the only poke spot near us and we will definitely be coming back soon. The restaurant was very clean and the ingredients were so fresh. The man that helped us make our poke bowls was happy to serve us, and seemed really sweet! I didn't know what sauce to get for my bowl, and asked him for a recommendation. I got teriyaki and it turned out to be so yummy! Great vegan options! I've had the Skinny Girl bowl which includes tofu. My only complaint is that the tofu is served raw so it's a bit off putting in texture. It still absorbs flavor from whatever sauce you choose so it's not a deal breaker for me. I ordered take out and had my coworker get it for us and they were very quick and packaged our food nicely read more

This poke place is a decent option in a shopping center filled with many other asian businesses. They weren't here when I lived on West Rd previously, but thankfully the intersection has developed and there are more dining options now. They offer salads, bowls and burritos for poke entrees. They also offer Hawaiian bbq bowls. Since their name has poke in it, I stuck to the poke. I ordered a large bowl. I was a little bit disappointed in the raw fish selection. They basically have tuna and salmon. No exotic fish, or scallops. Their diced veggies are sometimes diced a little too large, like the cucumber on my recent visit. The good part is they have several sauces to choose from. They toss your poke with the sauce half way through the ordering line, then will place the last remaining toppings on your creation. Prices are about average for a bowl or burrito. Flavor was definitely there in the sauces I chose, Sriracha mayo and Hawa house special sauce, but I just wish they had more raw fish options like other places in the city. read more

My friends and I got takeout poke here and we all really enjoyed it! Each poke bowl w two protein is $12 after tax- all toppings like avocado are free which is very generous! They had a lot of variety like Ika salad which I haven't seen much (and it was great). Some toppings they were running low on and were very sparing in their serving (like masago). All the food seemed very fresh though! They interestingly allow you to sample the sauce combinations before you choose what you want. My bowl was overflowing and was a great deal (I was full for the rest of the day). However, I felt like the flavor was a little bland which is why I docked a point. Experience was just okay. I came here on a Friday late afternoon and there was not really anyone. Service was extremely slow and I just thought, okay... Maybe she's just taking her time because no one is really waiting after me? All selections and toppings were very fresh and I appreciated the variety. However, as much toppings they offered, it caught me by surprise they didn't offer cream cheese. A little bummed out as I love cream cheese with fresh salmon. I ordered the sushi burrito, and it was made differently than what I am used to. The server takes your order by bowl first (like Chipotle style), toss everything together and placing it on the rice and seaweed wrap. This method is observed to be challenging to fit all the fish mixture in a small surface, as well as wasteful to throw away the falling remains. I witness her throwing away quite a bit. Other poke shops I've seen creates your burrito with the wrap to help fit everything nicely, eliminating the need to waste food. The trick is to gauge your scoop... Sure you might think you're getting a bang for your buck, but not when they are tossing all of the falling mixture away. Moving forward, when I asked for my sauces to be on the side, she could have at least filled the sauce cup up to half way. It was a large burrito. I'll probably give this place another shot and crossing my fingers for a better wait time. Probably opt for a bowl next time. read more

I'm not a huge fan of poke, but was excited to come here and try their pokerito (poke + burrito). I did the 2 protein and picked my ingredients, sauces, and toppings for $12. My spicy salmon and shrimp tempura pokerito creation was a success with the perfect amount of spices. This new Poke restaurant opened about a month ago and now gives Jersey Village area residents the opportunity to eat freshly made Poke without having too travel far. I have dined twice now and can say it's very good. Located in the large strip center across West Road from Kroger parking is plentiful in the lot shared by several other businesses next door. It is a counter service restaurant with seating inside for about 30 people. They offer custom made bowls along with a list of house favorites. Both times, I ordered the same thing because it was so good. I went with the Hawa Classic Tuna bowl for $11.95. The staff were very friendly and eager to help with the selections and explanations if needed. All of the ingredients in my meals were fresh and tasty and the serving line was very clean too. They offer both bottled and fountain drinks along with tea. My meal was large in size, filling and delicious. I will frequent this business. read more

Trust me - if you live around here and crave poké... look no further! I had been wanting to try this poke spot for a while since during COVID my go to spot was closed down. Unfortunately it was not the best experience. On the first attempt to eat here, they had their online ordering service turned on even though it was closed. When we showed up to pick up the order per the prescribed time, the lights were off and it was clear the place was closed. On the second try, we got our food successfully. Not sure what it was but 5e poke burrito had some type of odd taste like a dish cleaner of sorts and the poke bowl wasn't much better. The fish was warm and didn't taste very fresh. I wouldn't recommend... if you are looking for poke you are better off taking a drive into the galleria area. read more

This location has a nice poke options a decent bang for buck. I think when I do the make it yourself it's probably about a $15 poke bowl. Oh that's what you expect when you do three proteins. It's not a location for dining really as it's pretty narrow, but it's a great place to be able to grab in and go the sauces. Flavors are good what you would expect and the service is friendly, but not overly cheerful. read more

First time here and I came in around 1245 on a Monday to order To-Go. For some reason there was no one here! Do not sleep on this place if you're in the area; the vibe and food are so good. Never having been here I wasn't quite sure what to choose. I'm one of those easily overwhelmed when such delicious options are arranged before me, so I asked the person behind the counter to make me what they would eat and WOW! They have great taste! They first made sure I had no allergies and would be okay with the raw fish (they offer an option to cook the fish if you prefer that, how accommodating!) Then they worked their magic to put together a dish that was light yet hearty, flavorful and dynamic, and oh so fresh! Stopped by mid-afternoon on a Saturday for a late lunch. We've had poke numerous times, some amazing and some sub-par...we both agree - WOW! 10/10, would recommend! Service was super fast and friendly. We both got the Deep Diver bowl with sushi rice, and our server was really kind and patient, asking if we wanted to add or sub anything. The regular portions are also huge and everything was really fresh and clean. Definitely got our money's worth. No pictures because we demolished our bowls... You will not regret going to this place. Now to get down to it. The food was delicious. The ginger dressing or house ginger sauce is perfect, everything is fresh and the selection was generous. We asked for 2 sauces on the side, they happily did it and were so polite about it. The restaurant and restroom is clean and has limited seating. Some pros include good service, an efficient ordering system (you can fill out a small slip of paper at the front of the restaurant), and the unique oil selection option. But unfortunately, my biggest gripe was their food. Upon receiving my order, my roommate noted how small the bowl was. While size didn't matter (initially), they gave me way more rice than protein, and by the end of my meal, I found myself having to supplement my leftover rice with my own protein. A small bowl was 3 scoops of protein (I requested 2 scoops of spicy tuna and 1 scoop of spicy yellowtail), but frankly, they were a bit stingy with their portions because it did not seem like 3 scoops. I felt that paying $14 for how much I was getting turned me off. Furthermore, my roommate and I agreed that the sauces and how the fish was seasoned were more salty than spicy. I requested 2 types of spicy raw fish and a spicy aioli sauce and still found the spice to be subtle, almost nonexistent. In addition, some premium ingredients, such as Masago and Seaweed Salad, would have been free elsewhere. Overall, I was unsatisfied with my experience and unsure if I'd return. While taste is subjective, I'd suggest improving portion sizes by fixing the rice-to-protein ratio; past reviews have expressed similar sentiments, so I know I'm not alone in feeling like the portions are absurd. Also worth mentioning is that they give free dessert (ube, matcha, and pandan rice crispies) if you leave a Google review, which I feel could skew the ratings.

As the ice melted, they became a little watered down, so I'd recommend drinking them before that happens or asking for less ice.
