Overall a good experience! We did a pickup order as I was craviiiing Japanese egg sandos from Lawson or 7/11. Altho the egg sando is not exactly how it was from Japan - it did hit a spot. I wish it had a bit more flavor though. I do think the chicken katsu sando was so so delicious and yummy! Perfectly crispy chicken. Both sandwiches had great fluffy milky white bread. The pickup experience was decently quick - had to wait a lil bit longer than what the pickup time said to be. read more

It's a poke bowl. Wasn't amazing and can get charged for extra scoops of toppings. Not a big vibrant taste but it was filling for the price. Was not a fan of the iceberg lettuce instead of spring mix salad which might have caused the flatness. Def made sure to not give one bit extra of protein topping but the server was very nice. In a nice little area of the heights with decent parking and a cute spot with comfy seating. read more

Wow. Honestly, this spot is my new favorite spot for poke in Houston! I struggled to find a good poke place, as all of the other places were either too stingy with their portions or their fish wasn't as fresh. But Let's Poke is perfect! There's a good amount of parking outside the place with a few spots that are reserved just for the restaurant! Inside is a lot smaller than I thought, but there's still plenty of seats to eat your lunch! The walls are bright and pink which I thought added a cute vibe to the place! The lady who got my order was super lovely and nice. She took my order really fast and got to work with the scooping, and she was very generous with the portion! After I paid, she told me to be careful and stay safe because of the rain and the incoming storm, which was so sweet and thoughtful. The poke was so delicious. Their regular bowl comes with 3 proteins which honestly is a steal as most places that sell regular bowls only come with 2 proteins. I got salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna for my proteins and had a bunch of different toppings and mix-ins. The total of my bowl was around $15 which is pretty good for the amount of food that was given. The fish was super fresh and succulent and it paired really well with their spicy ponzu and their spicy mayo sauce. You can get whatever toppings and mix-ins you want with no additional charge with the exception of some toppings like avocado, etc. And FYI, the large bowl comes with a whopping 5 proteins and is $3 extra from the regular, which is honestly a really good deal. Such a good poke place! I'll definitely be coming back here again as the workers are super nice, the food is so good, and it's women-owned! Come check it out and support this small local business! read more

This place was ok. I tried it on a whim since this place was close by to my house. I got a build my own bowl with shrimp and brown rice. I like my rice warm so didn't like that it came in cold. The shrimps themselves were tiny but they tasted fresh and the other ingredients also tasted fresh which is a plus. A lot of toppings that you can choose which is another plus. read more

This poke spot took over the old Aqua S, and I love poke so was happy to have this new addition. I built my own poke bowl versus going with one of their signature bowls. I got a large bowl with salmon and tuna as my proteins. They also let you add avocado and crab meat for free. It's not a huge portion, but it is included which is nice compared to the other poke spots that charge extra for it. Everything tasted fresh and there were a wide variety of ingredient to choose from. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Come check them out to get your poke fix! read more

I think this is my new go-to poke place! I was a little bummed that the ice cream spot that was previously here (Aqua S) shut down but I'm not anymore. Got a big bowl with 4 scoops and too many ingredients to name. Everything was delicious. Fresh and tasty fish. Yummy yummy! Also got a bowl of miso soup and that was flavorful. I've had mediocre past experiences with miso soup from poke places (watered down) but this was on point. read more

Got a matcha latte and a chicken sando. It's so delicious!!! The chicken was crispy and the sauce was super! They use quality matcha and it is not very sweet. When I came there was barely customers sitting there=(( I would definitely recommend this place for matcha lovers=) read more

Ordered two matcha latte's. Not sure they know what they're doing. Sitting inside the place now...waiting and watching. It's been 15 min. It's not crowded. Nice people...but doesn't feel like they have it together. Update: they really don't have it together. Odd place. I'll give it more time before coming back. Too expensive for the weird slow service. read more

I got the most horrific food poisoning after eating here. I don't think I will ever eat any poke ever again after spending hours in the middle of the night vomiting every last ounce. Negative 10 million stars. read more

I had an early day, so my friend and I decided to catch up. We watched something light but filling, and delicious, so poke was it. Let's Poke did not disappoint! The ambiance was clean and pleasantly quiet. It was our first time, and our server was extremely help and patient with explaining our options. Although there are 3 offered pre-made bowls, I decided to make my own. I loved the variety of options. Though not an expert, it was fun to figure out which mixes and sauces would go well together. Our server also gave some input with my friend's order. My bowl: spicy salmon, cooked shrimp, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, brown rice, spring mix, corn, sesame seeds, furikake, spicy mayo and eel sauce. My friend's bowl: spicy salmon, spicy tuna, cooked shrimp, green onions, brown rice, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage, eel sauce, mango habanero sauce. The bowl was extremely fresh and bursting with flavor. I really loved my combo, and I can't wait to go back! I also ordered a pomegranate house drink which was adequately fizzy, not overly sweet and refreshing. A perfect hot day meal combo! Parking was a breeze and it's in a convenient location in the heights. I could imagine living in the areas and grabbing a bowl after a Hotwire session (which is right next door)....orrr going for some tea and/or doughnuts, which are also neighboring businesses! This spot is quite small, so I encourage a grab and go or no more than a group of 3 situation. read more

Let me say Poke is my thing and I am unfortunately a snob when it comes to this and other forms of Hawaiian cuisine. In summary, this spot just wasn't it. Built my own bowl with the proteins of my choosing such as Tuna and Salmon. Loads of toppings like pickled ginger, seaweed salad and all the other good stuff the traditionalist seeks. This meal just lacked flavor. It was just really bland and nothing about this meal makes me want to go back for more. Also the rice which is the foundation of this dish was a parboiled rice and not the normal sushi rice these dishes are accompanied by. Big let down. Let's a lot of room for improvement. read more

Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointment. My bowl was very small and not a lot of options to choose from.

Better ingredient better poké!!! Let's Poke just recently opened in the Height area and already this is the second time I have been here. Definitely, the freshness of the fish is top notch. I been getting the regular bowl and that's with 3 scoops of everything. Best combo, salmon, tuna, and chicken with fix of vegetables, sauce, and toppings. 100% health and most importantly it fills you up. Two thumbs way up for this place and almost look forward in coming again. read more

This is your standard build your own poke bowl shop that recently opened near where I live in the Heights. Very familiar with poke in SoCal as well as trips to Hawaii. This place is a solid restaurant for what it is. Upbeat music, friendly staff/service. The tuna and salmon tasted fresh. The rice wasn't dry. Larger than average topic selection I would say, and I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy ponzu sauce--delicious. Got a loyalty punch card--will be back! read more

Visited today for lunch and I'm so happy I did! This place is nicely decorated, the food is delicious, and the service is amazing! I got the regular bowl with two spicy tuna scoops and a regular salmon scoop - the spicy salmon is marinated in a spicy oil vs mixed with spicy mayo and I think that makes it even better!! Cindy helped me with any questions and let me sample the sauces so I knew which I liked best, she was so nice. I added the miso soup and it is so good. The broth had plenty of miso paste and there was lots of seaweed, tofu, and green onion. Definitely will be back. Give this place a try! read more

Wanted something healthy and fast so I tried Let's Poke. I really enjoyed it! You can get as many toppings as you want for no price increase which was really nice. I think I got 2 or 3 proteins and a bunch of toppings for a little less than $20. You can also sub rice for a bunch of cucumbers which sounded really good as well. Staff was very nice and patient, they explained what all the toppings were and never got annoyed. There are a good amount of tables inside, I could see it being a little loud when it was busy but we went around 8 and there were only two other people there. Would recommend! read more

All I can say is WOW. The interior is so clean, customer service was top notch and it was super delicious! I ordered from here for the first time today; I got the "Regular" portion which was 13.99 base price. I absolutely love poke bowls so I was excited to try it, but I was very disappointed when I received my order. I chose white rice for my base which is always similar to "sticky" sushi rice. However, this rice was so clumped together that I was barely able to break it apart and when I ate, it stuck to my teeth to the point that it was hard to get off... I am a big fan of both sushi and poke bowls and I have never experienced this before. Additionally, the portion I chose is supposed to include 3 different proteins...I have never seen salmon / tofu cut in such tiny pieces on top of it being such a small quantity; it didn't even fill me up. The clumped rice on top of the fact that there was very minimal protein for the price you are paying, made the whole meal unenjoyable. read more

This is the first time ordering lunch from this restaurant and I was very disappointed, the plate presentation was good and looked delicious but when I started eating it , I couldn't find the protein (chicken ) that was ordered , until I noticed 4 tiny pieces mixed with the rice. The only reason I am giving the review is for this restaurant to improve the amount of protein added in the meals , it should be 4oz of protein. read more
